I’m the fun guy.
The one always quick with a joke.
The guy who is crazy enough to do wild things to make people smile.
That’s how people see me.
That’s who I’ve presented myself to be.
That’s how I introduced myself to Rivet.
The first female Cerberus team member wasn’t impressed with my corny pickup lines and wide smile like the other women I use it on.
And why should she be?
She’s seen … pickup lines and wide smile like the other women I use it on.
And why should she be?
She’s seen it all and lived to tell the tale.
She took one look at me and decided she wasn’t interested.
I should move on, but her rejection stings.
I can’t seem to let it go.
I can’t get her out of my head.
I also can’t figure out if it’s the chase I crave, or if this woman is someone special I’ve been missing in my life.
So that really only leaves one thing…
Do I show her the real me?

The wait for Cannon was so worth it! I love how this series continues to keep going with the last book being as good as the first. Our jokester playboy finally gets his story and learning the real Cannon was a delight. He meets his match with Rivet, and their back and forth banter was great.
I love how Marie James delivers with each book she writes! I am always looking forward to the next!
WOW!! Marie James has done an amazing job with this one! Cannon was the goofball I really wanted to see more of, Marie James didn’t disappoint with this one at all! Cannon is a must read!!
Cannon is known for being the fun guy, who is never too serious and who is always a jokester, but deep down that isn’t who he really is, but now he is having a hard time getting people to see him for who he really is…which is especially problematic considering he has his sights set on the newest member of the Cerberus MC, Rivet.
Rivet’s main concern with joining Cerberus is being taken seriously and showing that she is meant to be part of the club and that she can do a good job, and being the first female member of the club means she has big shoes and an important role to fill.
Cannon makes a a less than stellar first impression when he uses juvenille pick up lines to gain Rivet’s attention, immediately making him someone she doesn’t want to have any part of. Following this, Cannon does use this interaction to decide to make some better life choices and think about what he really wants in life.
I think Cannon and Rivet had some great chemistry. I do wish they had some more build up to their relationship or some further development, to where it was not fully physical and built on something more than lust. I like that Cannon showed a lot of growth in his character throughout the book. I did think the first part of the book started off kind of slow and maybe a little all over the place, but it definitely got better about half way through, and it definitely ended with a big jaw-dropping moment so I cannot wait for some more of these characters in the next book!!!
Absolutely loved Cannon and Rivets story.
Rivet comes in as the first and only female of Cerberus. She’s an ex-marine and a total badass. Cannon is immediately smitten, with his hysterical shirts and pick up lines she sets him straight right off the bat. Only to eventually give in to his charming ways.
These two are great together, he softens her up and she helps him grow up. I have fallen in love with all the Cerberus crew and can not wait for more from these exciting members.

Cannon is book 12 in the Cerberus MC series and is Cannon and Rivet’s book. After four years as a Marine, River is ready for a change. Joining Cerberus is the next best thing. She didn’t expect to catch the attention of the boss’s son Cannon. I really enjoyed reading this book. I’ve been with this series since day one and I loved seeing it grow a d change. I’m excited for what’s next in this series.
It’s fun, sexy and action packed. Absolutely loving the banter and sizzling sparks of the characters. Their story will pull you in from the beginning and hit all the right feelings we looks for in a story. It’s entertaining and enjoyable read.
Marie James has added another fabulous story to her series. She always pulls me in with the Cerberus boys. Cannon has been the story I have waited for the longest time it feels like.
I loved it.
Cannon is a free spirit party animal in the outside to others. He does try to show others there more to him then the big player they see him as. Rivet isn’t who I pictured for Cannon at first but they work. She is trying to make her job work with the guys being the only girl she feels she has something to prove everyone.
I reccomend this book. I loved it.
Cannon has always been a jokester. I love his character for the comic relief he has provided in the last few installments of this series. I never would have guessed that he would be interested in settling down and surely not with the only female member of Cerberus MC where being a badass is one of the prerequisite. As always a definite must read! As are ALL of Ms. James books
Another great book from Ms. James! Loved Cannon and Rivet. Love the dual POV to get inside each character’s heads. The chemistry between these two were off the charts good.
Cannon is the goofball, the funny one, the one nobody takes seriously, the one all the girls fall for and that’s all fine and good with him until he meets the one woman that isn’t impressed with his antics.
Rivet knows how to handle cocky, think their gods gift to women men. She’s had to deal with it for the past four years in the Corp. So why is it that the cocky, have not care in the world Cerberus kid is throwing her for a loop.
Cannon doesn’t chase women, there are too many in the world to worry about one that clearly doesn’t fall for his smirk and cheesy pickup lines, but for some reason Rivet’s dismissal bothers him, not necessarily because she turned him down but because there’s something about her that he just can’t shake. She’s not like other women, he’s drawn to that, and that makes him reevaluate the way he lives his life and how others see him.
River doesn’t have time to worry about the handsome and happy go lucky son of her boss, even if he makes her feel things she knows she shouldn’t. There’s too much at stake to even consider going down that road. Her job, her team, her heart. Then why is it she finds herself seeking him out, looking for him when she enters a room? And why when she sees who he really is under all the goof, it makes her want to run away from and run to him all at the same time?
Thank you Marie James for another wonderful, amazing story and addition to the Cerberus MC! Can’t wait for the Rocker!
Cannon is book 12 in the already amazing Cerberus MC series written by the talented and awesome author Marie James. Way better than 5 stars!!!Cannon & Rivet, loved the banter between them and the chemistry was electric. Their story kept me hooked to my tablet. Can’t wait for more!!
Not only does Marie James know how to start a book to get your attention, but she also knows how to end one. Only instead of just getting my attention she left me shocked and desperate for more.
Cannon was a truly fantastic leading man. He was so funny, corny, sweet, dominant, and just so many other things. He was multi-layered. I loved watching those layers revealed.
Rivet is the first female Cerberus member and she felt she had a lot to prove. Her struggle to fight what was between her and Cannon was fascinating to watch. It all unfolded so well and was excellently written.
I never hesitate to grab a book written by Marie James ever since I was first introduced to her writing years ago. And everytime she reminds me why that is. I’m never disappointed with why I get.
Oh my! I have to start by saying that Cannon was hot! His shirts and his mouth had me in stitches!
Marie James has excelled herself with another well written and captivating read back in the Cerberus MC world.
For me this series could go on forever, I’m hooked!!
Where can I find my own Cannon??? Hello Mr Dominant. At the beginning I wasn’t a huge fan of Rivet. But through out the book she really started to grow on me. Cannon and Rivet’s story is one for the books! I also love seeing a glimpse of all the others. I love reading about Cerberus’ second generation.
Another hit in this amazing series!
I have loved Cannon from the start. His inappropriate yet hilarious pickup lines had me dying to get my hands on his story. And I absolutely could not wait to see him fall. Boy was he ever worth the wait.
Cannon and Rivet’s story grabbed hold of me from the start and didn’t let me go. These two have so much chemistry I worried my kindle might catch fire. Even now a few days later I am all kinds of caught up in Cannon.
I can never get enough of James’ Alphas and I can’t wait to see what she brings us next.
Rivet is the first female to be invited to join the Cerberus MC. She meets the boss’ son Cannon and she didn’t expect to catch feelings for him. Cannon can’t get Rivet out of his mind and her rejection makes him want to try harder to get her attention. The two are total opposites but make it work with plenty of steam and sexy times. A good read and great mc series.
I loved this book, I loved the characters and the story was fantastic.
Another excellent addition to the Cerberus series
Cannon is a free bird and he’s happy with that. What he doesn’t expect is to come home from college to a new member of the Cerberus MC and it to be a woman. A hot woman. A woman that flips him onto his back the first time he tries to put his moves on her. But what a woman!
Rivet has left the corps after one tour because she wasn’t willing to put up with the bull. When she joins Cerberus, she wonders if they’ll try dishing out still more of the same. She’s happily surprised that they don’t. But one of the “Original’s” kids is a player that thinks he can get into her pants with his charm. But she puts him in his place. But does she really want him gone or in her place?
OH MY HEART! Rivet is the first female to be part of Cerberus MC, and I mean member not just someone’s woman & for that alone, a 5 star rating had to be given. She’s not even trying to stir the pot with any gossip about her activities, but there’s this college hottie named Cannon, who’s the son of her boss, and the moment he spied Rivet, he wanted her. Man, Cannon’s shirts had me rolling in laughter throughout, not to mention his silliness when it came to Rivet. They had chemistry in spades, like sparks came out of my kindle, until it wouldn’t be denied anymore, and boy were they HOT HOT HOT! This was such a fantastic story that I’m not coming off any more details since I want everyone to just read it for themselves! So, hit those one click buttons because you can’t go wrong with Marie James! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
Another masterpiece!! Another Cerberus Man snatched up.. Ahhh what are you doing to us Marie!!
Cannon Book 12 in this series and let me tell you it DID NOT disappoint.
Cannon and Rivet were AMAZING characters. Complete opposites.. but that worked and they brought out the best in each other!! With Rivet being the first and only female member of Cerberus. She is determed to be the very best that she can be and is not afraid to speak her mind.
I LOVED how she wasn’t afraid to bring Cannon down a notch or two.. or fear how if may effect her place with the Cerberus men..
Cannon is a jokester and his pick up lines (and shirts for that matter) are the absolute best!! I loved the fact that they didn’t work on Rivet.. and the banter and heat that he and Rivet had.. HOTT!!!!
And that ending.. WTF!! Now I need Rocker and Simones book!!
Marie James did a great job on Cannon, the plot was strong, it written well, it was filled with many emotions. Cannon and Rivet were strong characters. They were complete opposites, Cannon had a great personality, something you don’t see much of in a biker. He’s one of my favorites. I thought Rivet and Cannon were made for each other, they brought out a different side and completed each other. They were drawn to one another, their chemistry was off the charts. They were great together. I enjoyed Cannon and Rivet’s story.
This was a great story. I enjoyed it. Thank you, Marie James. Great work 🙂
