I am loving reading these collections of mystery stories for young readers! These books are so full of fun and adventure and page turning events. This particular volume of the Camp Club Girls series is by a new-to-me author, Linda Carlblom, and let me tell you that she did a terrific job! I loved every minute of this book.
This collection is Bailey’s adventures. I loved that Carlblom featured The Stanley Hotel in one of Bailey’s stories. As a long time fan of all things Ghost-y, my son and I loved watching the Ghost Hunters episode of The Stanley Hotel. Bailey’s adventure there brought back the memories of that for sure. I loved watching Bailey, Kate and Biscuit search for clues, and try to solve the mystery.
That’s just one of the four stories in this collection. Each one features Bailey and one of her camp friends, and they all seek to solve the mystery. Each story is filled with fun for readers of all ages, but are geared toward the ages of 8-14. These stories are beautifully written, and help to teach the rights and wrongs of growing up, along with messages from God.
If you have a young reader in your life, this is perfect for them. They will be captivated and taken on the adventurous fun that these girls have, and will likely want to be just like them. Once again, another modern day Nancy Drew collection for today’s kids. Definitely worthy of 4 stars and high recommendations from this fan!

This is a collection of four wonderful pre-teen mysteries.
I loved reading all of these mysteries with Bailey Chang as the central, connecting element in them. In each one she is joined by one of her friends from camp. Once they come across a mystery they bring the rest of the group in by phone to help solve it.
I thoroughly enjoy the fact that each girl has a special interest and ability that they use to help the group out.
The four mysteries are very different from each other and they all held my attention. One of my favorite things about these stories is the fact that the girls pray, asking God for guidance and protection.

This is a set of mysteries for young teens that feature the girls of the Camp Club. This has four separate stories that feature Bailey as the main character. She has at least one of her Camp friends in attendance and communicates with the others by phone. These remind me a little of the Boxcar children stories from when I was younger. I really enjoyed each story. I will be reading more of these books. I received a copy of this book from Barbour Publishing for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.
This is another 4-in-1 collection of the Camp Club Girls books and this book revolves around Bailey Chang, her family and the other girls that are part of this exclusive club. There are four stories that feature Bailey as the main focus and she and the other members of the club are once again finding adventure and mysteries whenever and whereever they go. The four titles in this collection are Bailey’s Estes Park Adventure; Bailey’s Peoria Problem; Bailey and the Santa Fe Secret; and Bailey and the Florida Mermaid Park Adventure. These adventures take Bailey and the others to Colorado, Peoria, New Mexico, and Florida and they become involved in mysteries that involve a missing millionaire, elk stampedes, a turquoise mine and mermaids. As the girls work to solve the mysteries they are given the chance to visit new places and learn the history of these areas. These adventures enable them to use their minds, learn the consequences of good versus bad decisions and continue to deepen the friendships that they enjoy with each other.
Trixie Belden and Nancy Drew introduced me to mysteries many years ago and I am so happy to learn that young girls now have this series to satisfy their own love of mysteries. Linda Carlblom is the author of this collection and she has successfully maintained the integrity that the other The Camp Club Girls books offer. They are wholesome, faith-based stories that provide scripture and examples of Christian living while offering adventure and the joy of discovering and solving clues. The target age is 9+ but I believe that these books will be just as enjoyable for an older female audience.

This is the second Camp Club Girls book that I’ve read and I can highly recommend them for your pre-teen and teen girls. The girls in the stories are great role models as they are respectful and kind. But the stories aren’t “preachy”. Full of fun and mysteries, each of them will be enjoyable to your reader. I would have loved them at that age.
With each girl having a completely different personality, and coming from all over the United States, the characters are very well developed and engaging. And with the girls in the books being ages 9 – 14, they all look at things differently. There’s a personality that any girl can relate to. Get a copy for the young reader in your life!
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
Camp Club Girls: Bailey is a fun collection of four mysteries. They include:
Camp Club Girls: Bailey’s Estes Park Excitement
Camp Club Girls: Bailey’s Peoria Problem
Camp Club Girls: Bailey and the Santa Fe Secret
Camp Club Girls: Bailey and the Florida Mermaid Park Mystery
I enjoyed every one of these quick stories. I found Bailey and her friends to be inspiring and great role models for young girls. I would not have any problem handing this book over to my nine year old daughter and allow her to read it. I would love to get the other books in the series to complete the set. I believe she would enjoy it more than me and I loved it. I give it five plus stars.
I received this book from the publisher, but was not required to write a review. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
