I loved Cameron and Samantha’s story! I especially loved how Tess was brought in and helped Samantha out, I think this one might be one of my favorites in the Beverly Hills Dragon series. I highly recommend this book and yes, it has an HEA ending and no cliffhangers. I hope that a short Christmas book bringing all the “Nannies” together comes out so we can see how all the families are doing!

I thought Samantha was such a wonderful person. She had been through so many people being horrible to her and she still had such a beautiful heart. I was glad that Cameron was able to let her in so he could heal. Andy was such a cute kid I loved him. Cameron and Samantha built up to a great relationship and I loved this.

Cameron Collins is still grieving for his wife, Tess, but carrying on raising their 5 year old son, Andy. However, their nanny, Welda, has been called home to deal with family obligations.
Samantha Parker is in need of a fresh start because of a bad breakup and some hometown prejudice. Sam’s friend, Jane, invites her to move to California. Jane believes she has the perfect solution for both Cameron’s and Sam’s problems.
I was impressed by the way Meg Ripley handled Andy’s difficulties and I recommend your reading Cameron’s Nanny. I would also suggest starting Beverly Hills Dragons from the beginning to become acquainted with characters who appear again.

Cameron is a dragon shifter and has been raising his son, Andy as a single parent since his wife died four years ago. When his current nanny quits to take care of her ailing mother Cameron finds himself in need of a new nanny. Samantha is a preschool teacher who finds herself moving after the people in town discover she can communicate with the dead. She moves in with her friend Jane who decides to show her around town. They end up stopping at a famous club where she meets and ends up interviewing for Cameron to be his new nanny. This was a very enjoyable read. The chemistry between Cameron and Samantha was sizzling. The story had great secondary characters and I enjoyed the relationship that developed between little Andy and Samantha. I really liked this book and highly recommend it.

Cameron Collins, a successful film producer, flew through the night sky, thinking about Tess who had been gone for four years now after an incurable dragon virus took her life. She had just given birth to his son, Andy. She would have been proud of his success; she always knew he would make it big. He still talked to her in his mind, missing her presence in his life.
As he flew back to his home, Cameron noticed quite a few lights on upstairs and downstairs. That was unusual. But Andy’s nanny was waiting in the kitchen, still fully dressed in her daytime clothes. She asked him to sit so they could talk. She had gotten a call that her mother was dying and she decided to return to home permanently. Cameron would miss her very much and had no idea how he would ever replace her. He felt she was a real part of his family.
Samantha was packing to join her friend, Jane, in California. A dark spirit had continuously visited her and taken her to a battle somewhere. When her fiancé saw her act out her struggle with the spirit and tear apart the room, he moved out and told people about her. With everyone aware of her scary spirit abilities, it was difficult to deal with their mistrust and nervousness around her. It was affecting her job and her life in the community. She would move away, start new and hope for the best.
Cameron stopped in to see his friends at Indulgence. Blane, an actor and friend, was there and encouraged him that he might find someone to settle down with, but Cameron said there was no one like Tess and he wouldn’t want a woman who only wanted him because of his business success. In the meantime, he needed a full-time nanny rather than temps. When the door at the celebrity club opened, Cameron’s eyes locked with a beautiful woman entering with Blane’s sister, Jane. They walked over to Cameron and Blane and introductions were made. Cameron wasn’t sure he wanted to shake Samantha’s hand because she was making his brain feel fuzzy, and he felt electric sparks move up his wrists. His dragon was fighting to get out! Although most of the movie crowd knew he was a dragon shifter, he didn’t let it be known to others.
Blane told his sister that Cameron needed a nanny for Andy, and Jane immediately recommended Sam since she had been a pre-school teacher. She might even be able to help Andy with his stuttering problem as he became more comfortable with her. Cameron liked that she was more concerned with his child than with her own securing of a job. He knew she wasn’t “normal” in some way, but he couldn’t figure out how she was different. Touching him, she had felt a surge of psychic energy but released her hand before the vision came. After a few weeks of peace, the dark spirit found her again. Digging claws into her, it urged her to fight, but a dragon flew down and she came out of the vision. What did this mean? Was someone trying to get a message to her? Would Cameron find out about her visions and ask her to leave?
This is another wonderful book in this series that takes the reader into the home of a dragon shifter. The story line is good, with a touch of mystery about what the dark spirit is trying to force Samantha to do. The characters are well developed and likable. There is hope that Cameron and Samantha, perhaps with a little help from somewhere, can find love, healing, and a family life for the three of them to share. Grab your copy and enjoy where this wonderful story takes you!
The good storyline and the well detailed characters made this book a very enjoyable read! I was so engrossed in this story that I ended up reading this book in one sitting!
Meg Ripley has yet to disappoint me
Samantha, an early childhood educator, moves to L.A. where she meets Cameron, a popular film producer, at a night club and interviews to be his son’s nanny. As the story progresses his past holds him back, her secret comes to light and one may be the solution for them both. Meg Ripley has yet to disappoint me in her quick afternoon shifter reads and this one is no exception.
I received a free copy of the book from the author via Booksprout. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Cameron experiences a heartbreaking loss and he closes his heart to everyone but his son. When he needs a new Nanny for his son he hires Samantha who moved away from her old town because of her ability to hear from the spirit world and the reaction of the people in her home town. Once she starts working for Cameron she starts getting a lot of contact from the other side. What could it all mean & is it at all possible that she is the one who will open Cameron’s heart again? Fabulous characters and an intense story line make for riveting reading.

I loved this story. I hadn’t read the other books in the series but love that you don’t need to in order to enjoy the story. I loved that the dragon shifters don’t hide from normal humans and everyone interacts like normal. This was such a great story and even though it wasn’t super long, the characters were developed properly where you can see how their relationship developed as well.

Oh my. Cameron’s story is a little bit sad but actually it is the best one in the series.
This is so much fun to read. All well written and attention getting. Alpha male dragons and the women the meet in one way or the other. Lots of excitement, emotions, drama, suspense, hot and so much more. The story lines mesh well with the characters. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
Dragon widower, Cameron, is still mourning the loss of his wife Tess and has their beloved son Andy to keep him focussed. But it’s a life and not really living. That is until Samantha comes on the scene. Samantha is a teacher but who is also a medium which upsets her fiance. She is so unsettled that she accepts her friends invitation to come out West and this is when she meets Cameron who needs a new nanny for Andy. And when they met – wow! These two souls need each other and their is plenty of passion in this fast paced story by the best selling author, Meg Ripley. Great characters that were so easy to love and a great storyline that is so well written. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended!
Cameron, a dragon shifter and film producer bringing up his son after his wife’s death. Not feeling all that Hollywood he becomes upset when his nanny leaves to look after an ailing relative. In comes Samantha, after a new start in life after being unfairly judged for what she is. With his fires burning and Samantha getting beyond the grace messages, will this woman heal his soul? A great love story with dragons and things thrown in. Although part of a series it can be read as a stand-alone.
