Twelve months ago I won a shot at love.I didn’t want it back then. I wanted the money instead. So long as I didn’t fall in love, it was mine.It was a fool proof plan. And I thought it was what I wanted. But the line between what I want and what I need has only become more and more blurry as the months pass. Now I’m starting my final month of the year with the final bachelor in the Casanova Club: … bachelor in the Casanova Club: Camden Wood.
He’s cool and collected and significantly older than me. We have nothing in common and I feel like a bird trapped in his luxurious high rise in the middle of New York City. Christmas is all around us but it hasn’t touched his home. There is a darkness around his heart and this holiday, and maybe the best thing I can do for him is show him that Christmas can be something more. Something magical. Then again my efforts might be wasted once I betray him at the end of the month and choose the money over love.
But it’s the least I can do for the last man in line before this year is over. Camden deserves better than this. They all do.
At least it will all be over soon.
Note to the Reader: This is a 13-book sexy romantic comedy series with monthly releases in 2019. We’ll be following the journey of Piper, one funny, down-to-earth young woman, and her willingness to give up everything to save her family. The books are standalone in nature but do have references to the books before as Piper will spend a month with each member of the 2019 Casanova Club. We need you to vote on who you want Piper to choose in the end. Voting is open and will run through the end of 2019. That’s right. You get to vote on who Piper ends up with and help decide the ending of the series. Enjoy. I did.

I’m not going lie this one was somewhat hard to read the guy character was difficult but it makes sense the more you read. I feel so bad for him and what he had to go through. This book for sure got my emotions going in my ways then one but it’s still a really good read:) the first chapter is hilarious by the way I so want a roommate like Janie she is amazing friend and reminds me a lot of my best friend Rose who I miss dearly.
I cannot believe how this series is developing! This addition to the “Casanova Club” was a bit disappointing. It’s probably my least favorite in the series. Granted she meets Camden, the final man, but I felt the relationship development was not there. Of course, I am comparing it to the other eleven. It does have nice nice twists, plenty of drama, a little angst and suspense. Piper is a little wishy washy as well, more so than normal. Some of the drama at the party was a bit much as well. The series is wrapping up and it appears she is about to present a rose and choose love over money. I look forward to reading “The Wedding”.
Another fantastic bachelor for Piper to consider! I was unsure about Camden though, given his propensity for not embracing the Christmas spirit and always working, and I couldn’t wait to see how and if he and Piper would be able to get on the same page, and if Piper could get him to step away from work and enjoy the holiday festivities. Like every other fan of this series, I can’t wait to see who Piper will select as her forever person!
Let me first just say… Oh thank goodness Piper came to her senses! What a heartbreakingly sensational story filled with Christmas spirit, friendship, family, healing, and self discovery. I really loved this new book in the Casanova Club series from Ali Parker. Camden is a self made CEO with a traumatic past and an aversion of all things Christmas. Piper and Camden begin the month of December at odds with each other but as both start to bring each other out of their shells and help each other, they form a friendship. This is a captivating story that will have readers laughing and in tears and unable to put it down with plot twists and wonderful characters readers will fall in love all over again. I am excited yet a little sadden for the release of the next and final book in the series.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.”
I absolutely loved this latest installment in the series. I cannot wait to see where this will end up and who Piper is going to be with. I hope some of the other characters get their own HEA as well. You will laugh and cry with these characters as they learn that love can really be unconditional.
Another roller coaster ride ahead
Piper, 2019’s Casanova girl, is off to meet December’s bachelor Camden, the advisor Casanova. As the story progresses things get off to a rocky start, a dark secret is shared, and healing broken hearts becomes the theme. Ali Parker has given life to a wide cast of characters throughout this series forcing the reader to participate in this journey by drawing them in from the first word written in each book. I envy her ability to create such realistic and easily relatable scenarios. This was her final Casanova now we’ll just have to wait and see what choice Piper makes, the money or one of her Casanovas. I am still torn between Wyatt and Jeremiah and can’t wait for the final book.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Camden and Piper’s story was much different than the others. They both were struggling with personal battles during her month with him. She was torn knowing she planned to take the money in the end and he was struggling with being the last Casanova and also hating Christmas. They ended up being very good for each other and he gave Piper a wonderful gift – the gift to choose love and not the money. Camden also grew and I wish we could see how his story might continue. Can’t wait to see who Piper chooses! I received an advanced readers copy of this story and highly recommend it.
Camden doesn’t have good memories of Christmas, and now he has to play host to Piper while trying to avoid everything about the holiday season. Piper might as well be a Christmas elf; she takes her love of the holiday seriously. Can our plucky heroine break this Scrooge out of his shell without losing her heart in the process? I’m less certain about Piper, but I certainly couldn’t do it. Once again, I’ve gone and lost my heart to yet another one of the Casanova bachelors and their story has left me a sodden, weepy mess. There are parts of this story that are so unbelievably sweet and others that are so heart-breaking and tragic. It wasn’t the ending I was expecting, however, it gets us a step closed to the one I wanted. I don’t quite know what going to happen now. You are killing me!
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
This has simply been a pleasure to be able to experience this romantic comedic series by the fabulous, best selling author, Ali Parker. It centres around Piper, a young fun loving young woman from New York who is passionate about her family and becomes part of The Casanova Club’s year romance. She spends one month with a billionaire bachelor and then moves onto the next. She meets twelve bachelors in total and Camden is the last of these men. AT the end of the twelve months she must choose one of the men to marry or she gains $1million. She’s after the money to save her family from destitution. Now Camden is unlike the others, in that, he is much older than her.Their month together is in December and Camden seems to be totally averse to anything to do with Christmas which just happens to be Piper’s favourite season! Can she persuade Camden to stop being a workaholic and bring some joy into his life – all the while not falling in love with each other? We all have the chance to vote as to whom we want Piper to end up with – NOT the money. I have waived between Wyatt, Jeremaih , Levi and Christian. And then comes Camden! How on earth am I to choose? Just think what Piper must be going through. It’s all about whom she needs and whom needs her as well as who will be the best to support and love her. Who will I choose? Who will you vote for? I’m impatiently waiting to find out next months final story to this fantastic series. Beautifully written with characters that I feel as if I almost’know’ them. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
This was well written has a great storyline and kept me turning the pages. Camden is the last bachelor and he is not looking forward to spending time with Piper. He doesn’t like anything to do with Christmas and is a workaholic. Piper is going to have to decide on the money or one of the bachelors. I can’t wait until the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Oh my…who will she pick. I’ve rooted for Wyatt from the start but oh my Camden is just so wonderful.
I know there’s an age gap but age gaps do work
He was just so wonderful with her after he came out of his darkness. Plus he told her he loved her.
I did like Christian at one point but after he pulled her about taking the money in his drunken stupor hed be best ignored.
I say Wyatt or Camden.
Falling for another bachelor.
Loved this storyline of Piper with Camden. She though it would be easy to be there for a month but her heart and his seems to come together. With Christmas it always brings out emotions and now she has another bachelor to choose among! Who will she choose? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I enjoyed Camden’s story just as much as the other bachelors. I love this series and style of writing. Could not put it down.
I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!
Wow, oh WOW!! This month we meet the final bachelor in the Casanova Club: Camden Wood. He’s a workaholic and hates Christmas. Can Piper help him open his heart? Can Cam win her over? But the bigger question is…. Who will Piper choose…. the man or the money? I think I know but looking forward to who Ali reveals in the finale!! Yeah, a bit of a cliffhanger. I have voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC provided by the Parker’s ARC Team for my unbiased opinion
This is not quite the end, but it’s near…..Camden and Piper both need each other. She needs to choose for herself and he need to heal from the memories of christmas pasts. Can they both get what they want? Who will Piper choose????I loved this whole series and am anxiously waiting for the final installment. I honestly volunteered to review this arc.
Excellent! So good I read it twice before I wrote my review.
This entire series has been so great, I don’t want it to end. Could there be a Casanova club 2020? Man I hope so. It’s down to the wire now. Piper has to make her decision. Love or money. Last Man standing, Camden. Will Piper choose a lifetime of love or money for her family. Camden is not a Christmas person, is a workaholic, and he wastes so many days in the beginning of this month not spending it with Piper as he should. Camden perks up and realizes he has not treated her fairly. This book is very emotional. It’s the last one. Piper is ready to get it over with. And she is still torn between the men that she loves, yes more than one, or saving her family business. Can Piper break through and reach Cameron’s empty heart or is he a lost cause? Piper brings out the best in everyone and she won’t let Cameron stay where he is emotionally. This one was a little heartbreaking because Cameron was just so not into spending Christmas with Piper. She uses her magic on him just like she has on every other man this year. Did Cameron waste too much time in the beginning of the month, because now he can see Piper for who she really is and what it could mean for him because he wants her too. She is truly a treasure and a gift and I hope she chooses love. For me, this book really came alive in the ice-skating chapter. It was funny and that is when Cameron was finally letting his walls down. Very, very good book.
Oh my God,what a way to leave us hanging with the last guy in this series. Did she choose who I think or was it someone else. Piper had the most amazing year but fell for a few guys and truth be told I think the last one was the that held the most impact. I hope we get one let book to see who she did choose. Absolutely loves this whole series. Bring us more like this one. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
This book was so good! I couldn’t put it down. But the ending! Totally unfair lol. I need to know which Casanova man Piper picked. The way Piper helped Camden in the month of December was fantastic. She made him see things so different them he use to. He also helped Piper. He helped her make the right decision in the end. But who did she choose. How long do we have to wait to find out who the lucky man is that won Piper’s heart!
Wow, this book kept me burning through the pages. There was just enough drama, love and suspense to make me wish it didn’t have to end. Camden is a wonderful character who makes you want to reach into the pages and give him a warm, comforting hug. Piper was a great character to help him find comfort and maybe enough insight to live his life to the fullest….with or without her. I received this book at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
