Jim “Liar” Huntley’s loyalty to the Riot MC brotherhood is unquestionable. Especially since before becoming a fully-patched member, he killed a man to protect a brother. When a favor to another brother forces him to meet Andrea Paglia, he knows she’s out of his league. Making matters worse, she is off-limits because she’s old friends with the President’s old lady. Weeks later, Liar notices his … brothers ogling Andrea at a club party, and he cannot restrain his anger.
Andrea falls in lust with Liar the moment he walks into her massage studio. She senses Liar restraining himself around her, but she’s determined to go after the man she wants. For once, she grabs what she wants from life. Conflict arises when former co-workers implore her to lend them a hand during the holidays. Forced to tell Liar about her past, she uncovers another facet to her alpha biker.
Little does Andrea know, she’s being used as a pawn in a larger scheme to bring down the Riot MC. Liar believes Andrea deceived him and will not be betrayed twice. The perceived deception tears Liar and Andrea apart while also forcing a rift between the Riot MC brothers.
Liar discovers he was wrong, and struggles between guarding his heart and asserting his love for her. Will he be able to claim her as his own?

This was an interesting couple and story. I loved when Andrea decided to let herself experience life, although her past came after her. Liar had his trust issues which almost destroyed the two of them. The ups and downs of their relationship made this story worth reading, all leading up to love winning out.
I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
So I realize this is a series and I didn’t read the other books but I don’t feel like I missed anything that would change my opinion of this book. And after finishing this one I do plan to go read the other 3 because I loved Calming the Riot! I mean when the H’s name is Liar how can I not love the book?
Calming the Riot tells the story of Liar and Andrea. Liar is a newly initiated brother, and he meets Andrea while running an errand for his brother, Vamp. Andrea is a massage therapist, and she owns her own place called Warm Vibes. They were pretty explosive together, and their sex scenes were deliciously naughty! When Andrea is threatened, Liar goes on alert and does whatever he can to keep her safe. That is until a conflict arises and Andrea becomes a pawn in hurting the Riot MC.
Talk about jumping to conclusions! Upon first meeting Andrea, Liar assumes that she’s not for him and that she’s far too uptight and, dare I say, rigid, for the likes of him. Of course, he disregards that fact that Andrea is a kind, loving woman who isn’t quite sure how to deal with her feelings for the hot biker who traipses through her place of business with disdain written all over him. After a few less than stellar encounters, Liar and Andrea hook up…and then Liar’s big, stupid mouth almost ruins it. Luckily, they move forward and seem to be heading for something truly great until Liar completely misinterprets just how horribly Andrea is being used as a pawn in a game she didn’t even know was being played. Perceived betrayal on one part and true, gut-slicing betrayal on the other separate these two. And then the truth all comes crashing down, leaving the heartbreaker in the desperate situation of convincing the heartbroken that he’s worth the chance at reconciliation. All in all, Andrea and Liar truly deserve the HEA that they get and the journey to it was one full of humor, serious emotion, and some rash judgments that almost permanently derailed their shot at forever.
This book had it all, lies, twist, secrets, betrayal, and love! I cannot wait to go back and read the rest of the series, and the books still to come!

I just love being back with the Riot MC men and women! I have been counting the days until Calming the Riot, the fourth book in the series was released. Since each book focuses on a different couple, I do believe you can read it as a standalone romance. Even though this is true, there is a back story that continues throughout the series. Therefore, I do suggest that you read the series from the beginning. I honestly believe that you will appreciate this story even more by reading them in order. Just know that it’s a suggestion.

I was captivated with this story, and I loved every minute of it. I didn’t want it to end, and now I’m counting the days until Foolish Riot, the next book in the series.

We are really loving this series, and we really loved Liar and Andrea’s story.
I have to say that this author has created a great cast of character’s for us to fall in love with, and we love the MC character’s old ladies even more.
Andrea is a bit of a free spirit who believes in saving the planet but, she also is loving and caring and has this vibrant personality who made us laugh and chuckle throughout this entire story but, she is also the kind of girl who speaks her mind and is very independent.
Liar is a bit of a mystery but, I love how much he loves is grandmother and how tight he is with his family but, he is a restless soul who has been hurt in the past and is not wanting to trust and believe that someone who would want to be with him because he doesn’t believe he is good enough for anyone let alone Andrea the women he is falling for.
Lair and Andrea had some major chemistry going on, and their sexual interludes were super hot. The story was filled with a bit of suspense and romance and laughter, and we thoroughly enjoyed it to the very end.
I will say that I was disappointed with Lair and his club at their treatment of Andrea later on the story because not one soul believed in her innocence except Roll and not one person took into consideration that she was a kind and loving genuine women not a fake and her daily life and actions spoke of who she was, and then you had Volt more vicious than the rest “did”, he never took into consideration that his wife had a seven-year friendship with this woman, and she would know her better than anyone else and her word should stand for something ?
“The whole club just pissed me right off !”
Overall we loved it as it was really a fun read, and we are so looking forward to the next in this series.
I was so excited to read this book and wasn’t disappointed. I was so pleased Jim ( Liar) got patched in book 3.
When Liar is running an errand for Vamp he meets Andrea. Andi owns the massage shop. The two continue to run into each other. Not all encounters go to plan though, but the chemistry between these to characters can’t be denied.
Such a great series. I’m left begging for more

If you’re looking for some serious heat, heart-wrenching angst over an easily misunderstood situation and the men of Riot proving, once again, that they can truly man up when they’re wrong, this author won’t let you down!

Liar is the newest patched member who knows better than to get involved with Andrea. But the sizzle between them cannot be denied and what happens next will keep you entertained. This is definitely a must read for anyone who loves to read MC romance that has great chemistry, intense heat and lots of action.
This is part of a series, and for it to flow correctly or even to understand the past happenings that get mentioned, you should read this in order. Liar finally gets his patch and while doing a favor ends up meeting Andrea, a masseuse. Upon their first meeting Liar feels the sparks, but he knows that he should keep his distance, as he is not good enough for her. Andrea also feels the pull and when she finds out that Liar feels that way she lays it down and explains that he is not the boss of her and does not have the right to make that assumption. So after that the two become an item… until Liar calls it quits. Will Liar come to his senses and realize that Andrea is the best thing to ever happen to him?
Ok, so, this book was going so freaking good, I wasn’t minding the filler or the little things that normally bother me and was really enjoying this read and then BAM it went off the rails and crashed. So this went from on its way to being my fav of the series to “are you freaking kidding me”. I can’t even go into what p*ssed me off so badly for fear of spoiling. I give this 3.5 stars, but I am really looking forward to the next in this series, just sad that Andrea was a let down.
Loved this book. Liar and Andrea start off on the wrong foot, when he believes lies over her and she us used as a pawn things soon become clear when the truth becomes known.
Poor Andrea. I wanted her to make Lair grovel a more. I think she got shafted but at least she had a couple of the brothers on her side.
Andrea falls in lust with ‘Liar’ when one of his brothers send him to scope out her studio.
Liar doesn’t believe that he deserves good inn his life and freezes Andrea out.
When he sees her being hit on, he takes action.
Things are going good with them until Andrea is used as a pawn in a game she didn’t even know she was playing.
Liar feels she has been lying to him and has betrayed him and the club. The rest of the brother believe the same and she is frozen out by all. She isn’t allowed contact with her best friend, the president’s wife, no one.
Only one person, the most unlikely, Roll believes that there is more to the story.
When Andrea is kidnapped and held for extortion, no one except Roll believes that she isn’t guilty and that she was being used. He convinces some of the brothers that her situation is real and they go to rescue her.
When Liar, the Prez, the VP and the Sargent at Arms see this, they go along still believing she is guilty. Her rescue doesn’t come without injuries.
When Liar and the rest realise that she was being used and that they were wrong, they try to make amends. At first she isn’t so forgiving, but slowly warms up to all again. Liar though has to work for it. He didn’t believe her, had no trust in her and believed the worst about her.
They eventually get it together though.
A great book, storyline and characters. A must read
This is the fourth book in this awesome series, and is Liar and Andrea’s turn. In my opinion, this series needs to be read in order and there is a background story which carries to each novel. Liar is a newly initiated patched member, and while doing a favour he meets Andrea, who is a masseuse. The chemistry between these two is sizzling, but Liar knows she is off-limits. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written story which had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more form this talented author, whose work I recommend for all MC lovers.
I feel like I know nothing about Andrea other than she was friends with Jackie, we don’t get to know much else if anything about her past or her family. We knew her job and that she had a stalker. Other than that we knew nothing. For the first 70% of this book it was a 1 star for me. It was only the ending that really changed my opinion on this book because that’s when all the feels came and hit me hard.
