‘Calling Eira’ is the third book, and conclusion, to “The Fae Queen of Winter” series by Laura Greenwood. This is the final leg of the journey for Eira and her amazing men to unite the two realms. The world-building and characters in this book meet the high standards Laura has seemed to always set, and I’ve come to expect. An attention-holding read for sure.
A wonderful book that I enjoyed reading.
Wonderful characters throughout the series.
Highly recommend reading this series…

Eira is the Fae Queen of Winter. This is the third and final book in this series. Eira and her mates must unite the summer and winter realms. I cannot wait to read more stories in this enchanted world. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed this book! The storyline was well developed, the characters were complex and well developed and the story world was detailed. The writing drew me in and I felt immersed in the story! I always look forward to more books by Laura Greenwood and would recommend this book!

I enjoyed this quick, engaging fantasy read. It’s the third book in the trilogy, so not a stand alone book. The world-building in this series is fantastic, and I love the strong heroine, Eira, and her supportive and smoking hot mates. Eira is trying to unite the winter and summer fae realms while also balancing family issues and changes to herself and her magic. This is a great conclusion to the trilogy.

One crisis averted, so our heroine is one to bigger problems. But this one might be more than she can handle.
This is book three of the series and the conclusion. I recommend reading them in order (so don’t start here).
This is an urban fantasy reverse harem story, which means you get lots of supernatural creatures and activities, as well as steamy romantic interactions. The sex pretty much occurs off screen, but there is rather a bit of it. Not saying that is a bad thing. The story is very well written with a solid plot line and multiple intriguing characters. Our heroine is strong and self-possessed, willing to take some help from the men but on her terms. I felt there was good chemistry between our various suitors and really enjoyed their interactions. As the concluding book in the series, it does a nice job of wrapping things up. So overall, a good read and a fitting conclusion.
Highly recommended.

Calling Eira is book three and the final book in The Fae Queen of Winter series. If you have read the first two books then you know Eira is a descendent of Jack Frost and her only job is to make sure the frost arrives on time. In this book Eira and her mates must unite the Summer and Winter courts and make sure the frost arrives on time. This is a paranormal/fantasy story with a reverse harem romance. The writing is well done, the characters are well developed and the author has created an amazing world full of interesting characters.
Eira finally feels like the Queen of Winter. After seizing the throne, Eira has still felt like an impostor at times. And she’s had to gain the trust of her people. But with the help of her mates, friends, and other Fae Queens she is feeling more like a queen. But when she finds out she’s pregnant her world turns wonky. Her magic is erratic, she’s fainting and tired, and she is concerned. Why is her magic changing, even getting more powerful? Especially her summer magic. This is book 3 in Greenwood’s The Fae Queen Of Winter series and the final. Greenwood is like no other when it comes to paranormal writing. Able to cast spells on the reader with amazing characters and worlds that are built up and this read and series is no exception. I loved these characters! A reverse harem where Eira and her mates: Josh (a witch), Rueben (a vampire) and Leth (a half-summer fae) continue on to unite the realms but challenges continue to present themselves…

I enjoyed this story and it’s characters, Eira and her three mates. Like all of Ms. Greenwood’s stories about Eira, this story was great and had a story line that I kept reading until I was finished. I enjoy reading about Eira and her mates and am a little sad that this will be the last story although it was a very good ending.

The battle between the Summer and Winter Fae is almost over now if Eira is truly the key. She is the Fae Queen Of Winter. But she must unite the Summer and Winter courts at last, as well as prepare her for the changes in her family life with her 3 bonded mates, Josh (a witch), Rueben (a vampire) and Leth (a half-summer fae), and the child that makes their family complete. Will she be able to accomplish the challenge set before her?
I’ve just learned a very valuable lesson while reading this book. Or well, I actually learned it after finishing the book. The after word in books does contain some important information and it could have taken away some of my expectations. So, I was waiting for something to happen and it turns out that it was never going to happen since it was an alternate timeline after the first book in this series, if Eira’s attempt to deal with the Queen of Summer would have been less successful.
However, that doesn’t mean I did like the book any less. At some point I realized that the big event changing the world was not going to happen and it was actually quite easy to let those expectations go and to just enjoy the storyline that was there. And although there was no really big and grotesk plot with loads of danger, the plot was entertaining and it most of all really showed a lot of Eira, both as a person and as a queen.
In the first book we’ve seen her grow from an almost normal, a little insecure, girl into a girl embracing her powers and being proud of who she is. In the second book she accepted that she would have to become a queen and in this book she is getting more comfortable as a queen and she’s getting ready for a very important role. She is getting used to becoming a mother. I really loved how her pregnancy was written into the story, I loved the mythology and I loved the huge effect it had on Eira and the world around her.
This book, if you ask me, was a nice showcase of Eira’s sweet and nice character. Yes, she can be ruthless if she has to be and she has amazing powers to help her be intimidating, but most of all she’s kind hearted and understanding and she really wants the best for all the people around her. For her mates, the people in her court and of course her kids. The boys got a little less personal growth, but I still think they are perfect for Eira and this story really was a nice way to finish their journey. Especially the epilogue left me with a warm and happy heart.
The finale to Eira’s journey is here and it was great. I love that she has bonded with her three men and the story moves into her uniting both kingdoms. It’s intriguing and exciting.
The series ends as the battle between the Summer and Winter court comes to a head. I received an ARC copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Each book has built upon the story of the last very well and I really love how much Eira has grown from the first book to becoming the Fae Queen of Winter. I can’t wait to see what the next series Laura Greenword will create.

Eira is back and facing even more challenges as Queen. The story flows well and the characters feel real.
