ShellyAbducted from Earth, contracting a deadly disease, getting matched up to an alien I’ve never met… welcome to the chaos that’s my life. Now, I’m on a spaceship traveling to Quasar to get the vaccine I need to survive and meet my future mate. I’m used to being at the mercy of others. First, it was my drug-addicted mother and eventually the foster care system. It frustrates me that after … It frustrates me that after finally reaching a point in my life that I had control, it’s all been stripped away again. I don’t believe in fate and being told my perfect match is waiting for me sounds like complete idiocy. There’s no other choice now though. It’s either that or die a debilitating death.
Callim
I’ve spent my entire life studying and preparing to travel to another planet. As an orphan, I’ve been raised in a Sanctuary with many other males who will be my companions in our travel and work as representatives of Quasar. It’s a solitary life with that I’ve learned to thrive in.
When marks appear on my body, I’m pulled by the Council into what they call The Mating Re-emergence Study and told my mate is on her way to join me. Then they arrive and instead of staying in the study, we’re rescued by the Discovery’s crew and I’m finally traveling through space towards a different unknown planet. Can I convince my new mate I’m more than just a tool she needs to survive?

The innocent hero and the tough heroine with a hard are perfect for each other. I actually didn’t instantly love both characters but they quickly grew on me and I really liked their story. Enjoy!

This is an awesome series that just keeps getting better with each new book. Each book is about an individual couple along with all the struggles that goes along with an alien who isn’t used to romance being mated by fate to a human woman who doesn’t know the aliens exist. This is Callum and Shelly’s story and it’s brilliant. It’s just the right length so you can read it in a few hours and once I started reading, I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished it. The plot is brilliant, and the characters are so well written I couldn’t help but fall in love with them! I recommend this series and this book to anyone who loves strong sexy aliens with their romance! This can be read as a stand alone but to fully understand some of the lesser characters and the full story it’s best to start at the beginning, some of the villains follow through each book. Callims and and Shellys story was full of speedbumps. Not only did they grt thrust into a mating that neither of them expected or really wanted, they had to deal with their own personal issues. They both of course became stronger, being by each others sides through it all. Their story was steamy, sweet and oh so hot.
I would highly recommend.
Happy reading!

This is the first book I’ve read in this series. Very good book. I will go back and read the other four books. Shelly grew up in the Foster System on Earth. She is kidnapped from Earth and ends up contracting an Alien virus. She is headed to the Planet Quasar for the cure and also to meet her Mate. Callim was also raised in the Sanctuary on Quasar. When marks show up on his body he is taken to a lab to be studied. Shelly and her friends end up at the same lab where she meets Callim. As they are getting to know each other they end up having a misunderstanding and Callim has to prove to Shelly that he is the man for her. They find out that they have more in common because of their shared background. Super good book.

This is the first time I have read a book by this author and I was very pleasantly surprised at how well this fascinating Sci-fi alien romance was written. The unique characters have a variety of traits and different sides to their personality & continue to develop throughout the story-line to become emotional strong individuals. The plot is intriguing & well-thought out, it definitely keeps the reader’s attention.
There is: a woman abducted from earth & later contacts a deadly disease (Shelly Suite), a Quasar alien male raised in a sanctuary/orphanage (Callim Devesti), Quasar council, a deceitful councilor (Vina Likana), humans, aliens, friendship, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, adventure, action, vaccines, nanites, mating marks, addictive drugs, evil, deceit, aggression, insecurities, attractions, discovery, shock, dismay, a unexpected surprise, determination, conversation, happiness, love & steamy scenes.
This is the first book by this Author that I have read I will now be looking for the rest of the Quasar Lineage series. A well-written book that had me turning pages, a great storyline with a story that flows smoothly from page to page. Callim and Shelly have a crazy journey to their mating happiness. Great story line. I appreciate the topics that are brought up and the need for Shelly to try to help others.

Callim, a Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson type of man, is to be Shelly’s mate. Sounds good, looks good, and builds a bond very strongly with Shelly. She contracted a disease that is killing her. Now she’s having tremors and her life span is cut short drastically unless she gets the cure that her mate has in his body. From his love juice.
So, if all the typical scenario, alien virgin man and human woman mate, woman gets cured and alien man gets sick and now he needs a cure. What all this is going on, there is a evil man who has snack on the spaceship and is still keeping Callim sick. Once information is gathered from villain, we now question the age of our alien mate. “Spoiler alert : The planet where Callim is from only keeps their orphans, (that’s Callim) until they’re 16 cycles. WHAT THE WHAT?” Between the emotional and physical bond Shelly and Callum share and Shelly being a new child predator, things get a little dicey. But thankfully there are unexpected HEPA from these events.
The author thought this stuff through. The characters displayed a lot of background and you felt for the unexpected events that they adored and what led them to meeting and being bond mates. The idea was solid and it made for a very interesting story. Did not recognize a cacophony or even a smidgen of grammar error, I could be wrong because the store was very interesting I did not get confused when things were explained. This is a standalone book in a series.

Callim, an alien and Shelly, a kidnapped human were both raised in foster care. Callim’s foster care was austere and without any stimulus, while Shelly’s was dangerous and predatory. Due to these backgrounds they had many obstacles to overcome in order to try and reach their HEA. Good story with strong portrayal of characters. Good read!

I started this book not really liking the heroine; she was angry, standoffish, and sarcastic. I almost stopped reading the book, but I’m so glad that I didnt. I kept reading and she made and effort to get to know her mate and really opened up to him why she responded to others the way she did. When she gave her reasons, she became likeable in my eyes. The story had a wonderful flow and a little air of mystery that makes you want to know whats going to happen in the next book. I highly recommend this book and the series …it just keeps getting better.
