Book Four In A Four-Part Complete Series“I’m not the guy for you.”It’s a sentence I’ve said more times than I can count. It’s usually the sentence that follows, “so, are we…?” or “are you my boyfriend?” or “do you want to come to my sister’s wedding with me?”I’m not exaggerating either when I say it. I mean it. Every single time I say it.The girls on the other hand, they don’t seem to like it.… they don’t seem to like it.
But I don’t really know why they expect differently. I always make it clear from the start. I’m not looking for anything serious. This is just sex. I’m not your boyfriend. I say those sentences and most girls nod and agree or if they don’t like those terms, they walk before anything happens.
I respect that, so I don’t get why they don’t respect my boundaries. When I say those things I mean it but they seem to think that they can change me.
Well to risk sounding like a complete jerk, they’re not that good in the sack.
Call Me Doctor is a medical novella linked to The Intimacy Series. It tells one of the secondary characters, Cameron Barker’s story.

I loved reading about Cameron and Grace as they overcome their past history and their fears. It was a very fun read.
I loved this story, it was so wonderful. I love Gracie and her determination but overall I loved seeing Cameron fight through his own mind to find a love her deserved.
Okay call me greedy but I wanted more of these two. This author gets a lot of goodies into her reads and they are never long enough with the characters and situations they find themselves in. With Cameron and “Gracie” this is their chance to get it right the second time around and not let their fear get in the way. As usual with this gang of friends outside influences push them to work things out. No big drama here but still leaves you feeling good but wanting more (I guess every writer wants to hear that). This may be the end of the series but not the end of the folks. Great fun with this series and the characters.
“The fun was cut short! Could’ve been better.”
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The story was a very typical one, not much twist happened but I think it was realistic enough. The story-telling was fast-paced, had very brief details and was easy to comprehend. I love the characters and their personalities, they had relatable thoughts and insights. Although I do think Theo was under appreciated, he needed to be in the story line more or he should have his own story! This is the first time that I have read any of Hanleigh’s works and I had a good impression of it. The story was achingly simple though. I wish it had more twist in it, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I just wish she had written more detail into the narration and she continued the story a little more between Cameron and Grace. If there was a story dedicated to their life after this book, I’d definitely grab it! I recommend this book to those people who want a quick read and a swift romance type of story. It’s enjoyable but awfully short. The cover needs work, too.
This is the first book I have read by Hanleigh. It was well written with great characters. These two have history. They run into each other when she brings one her of students to the hospital. Little does either one of them know there life is about to change? I loved the chemistry between these two. Would have loved a little more story line but book was still good from beginning to end. I can’t wait to read the first three in this series.
