This is the 4th book I’ve read written by Anise Storm; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

Caine and Emery was a hot and sexy read. It’s starts off with Caine running from the law he has been framed for the killing of his father and contacts his friend to get help to lay low and clear his name. His friend owns a BDSM club so he’s working there and ends up meeting Emery. She is the best friend of his friends wife. Things really heat up when Emery decides to show her bratty ways and he has to show Emery the error of her ways. But things really gets messed up when Caine realizes there’s a connection to Emery’s father arrest and his father’s murder. Can they solve the murder or will Caine be running from the law for ever.

This was a great and enjoyable ride of emotions with well developed and engaging characters and a storyline that flowed smoothly while taking us on a roller coaster ride while getting at the truth.

Admittedly I was a little unsure about this book when I started it, however I was immediately enthralled and sucked into the story. The continued mountain on Caine, and the unrelenting sinking for Emory (each both relieved and increased by their steamy $€×ual escapades) kept my rapt attention throughout the book.
The writing was excellent as were the characters, but that coupled with the storyline made this a definate read in my book!

Will Caine have a future with Emery?
This is my 3rd book by Anise and the 2nd in the Men of Syn series. I absolutely love an author who writes in dual point of view. Caine hightails it out of DC to Denver after the father he never knew about and threatened in front of people is killed; leaving him the likely suspect. Emery suddenly becomes homeless after her father is arrested and all of his assets are seized. Caine and Emery run into each other at Syn, where Caine pegs Avery as a princess. Yet when Avery is stranded, Caine helps Avery out at every step with a little friends with benefits. But what will happen between the two when their small world collides? You have to read to find out and won’t want to put the book down.
This is book 2 of the Men of Syn Series and is another really good read in this series. The characters are vivid and memorable. Although in the beginning, you won’t like Emery very much as she is portrayed as a selfish, self-centered, entitled person. Caine is almost on the run from a murder charge so he works at the BDSM club of Syn to stay off the radar. Story is interesting and many twists. Very good read!

Falling For The Enemy
Anise Storm has done it again in book 2. As if I wasn’t already in love with Hawke from book 1, she has presented me with Caine. Caine has just arrived in town and he has immediately found an attraction to a woman with one sassy attitude and potentially his enemy. Caine’s story is dark and he doesn’t want to share, but he has deep feelings for Emery and he knows he could never just walk away. Anise has captured the love and adoration between these two and brings this story to life. It will have your emotions on overload. Once you pick this book up, you will not want to put it down until you reach the final page. Be sure to put this book on your must read list. Anise gives you 2 books with 2 Alpha characters who share similar but different stories, but they find love and realize their lives can change for the better.
This is the second book in the Men of Syn series. I read the first book as well. This book is about two new characters Caine and Emery. But Hawk and Charlotte do appear in here. Caine has recently found out who his biological father is and he is now being accused of murdering him. Caine heads to Denver to see his friend Hawk. Emery is a spoiled princess, catered to from her Daddy. But what happens when Daddy is arrested and Emery finds herself with nothing. No home and no money. She goes to see her friend Charolette. This was a great story to read, full of twists and turns that kept you turning each page. I was disappointed when the book ended in that the book was over. Now to patiently wait for book three, I cannot wait!

This is the second book in the series and was another super read. After reading and enjoying the first book I could not wait to read this one and it did not disappoint. This was a really good well-written book with lots going on to keep me hooked right until the very end I just loved Caine and Emery they were great characters and I enjoyed their book I can’t wait for more
This is a hot book with a great romance story. I love the alpha dominant Caine. I enjoy a good suspense with hot sex scenes.
After reading book one in this series, I couldn’t wait to read about Caine! And wow, what a story this is! Caine, a total alpha male, is wanted for a murder he didn’t commit, so in order to help clear his name, he needed to get away and go see his friend Hawke. What he didn’t expect to come upon, was Emery, a not so sweet submissive and, Charlotte’s friend. The sparks between them is chart topping, and not to mention their “scenes” together are hot, hot, hot! When something happens in Emery’s life, Caine helps her, but when he finds out who she is related to, will that change everything?? Emery knows Caine is a bit mysterious, but when something comes to light, will she be able to believe him? These two characters are perfect for each other, and you can’t help but hope they end up together, but as you know, life doesn’t always go as planned, or does it? This is a great series and I hope there is more to come about the Men of Syn. I loved this story and truly didn’t want it to end, it is that fantastic. Trust me, you need this book in your life.
