It is recommended that you read “Heaven Hill Generations” before starting this series, or you will be spoiled and lost!Caelin BlackfootI was forced to make an adult decision when Justice Walker was kidnapped by a traitor within our club. Now I’m dealing with the repercussions of my actions and the blanket of guilt that smothers me from within.Or am I?
I love my Heaven Hill Guys! Love that we are getting to know the kids as they are growing up.
Caelin is still growing but had a huge thing happen with him! ((No spoilers)) i can see how this might make him doubt hinself. We get a visit from a very important woman in These families lives.. I know it was short & i wish there was more cause i enjoy the stories so much!! Keep up the good work!! Can’t wait for more stories!!
I really enjoyed this book. This author always pulls me into her stories from the beginning. I love the way her words fill me to my soul and bbn I always need time to process.
Caelin is clouded in confusion after Steele forced his hand. Unable to cope in meaningless high school drama, Caelin does what any member of Heaven Hill does and seeks out Dr. Jones. Once he has figured out who he is and how to process he can begin to help Justice. This short story managed to give me all the feels in about twenty minutes of reading, I was so angered at Steele for doing such a stupid, idiotic thing. Watching Caelin work through his feelings and accept that things will never be the same brought on a feeling of peace, still very hopeful for Justice, and grateful for the courage showed by Meredith and Tyler.
This is such an important piece of Caelin’s story that desperately needed told, and needed to be told by itself. This very much allowed him to leave behind the boy and walk out a man. It was a road paved with good intentions that left scars.
This is Caelin’s back story. I highly recommend reading the Heaven Hill series first. I loved that we finally got to understand Caelin. This story may not be easy on the heart but it will make you love Caelin. I can’t wait to read more of the short story’s.
If you’ve read Fury, you know the event that is haunting Caelin. If you haven’t read Fury, read it before Caelin!!!
My heart hurt for Caelin. Being a teenager on the doorstep of adulthood is hard enough. Throw in something as traumatizing as what Caelin experienced and you have a whole other level of confusion, second guessing, and doubting who you are (or should be) as a person. I didn’t think things were looking good for him until the talk he had with Justice. I have a feeling Caelin will be just fine! Hopefully we will see the man he becomes in a future book!
Laramie’s decision to write these shorts allow us to see a deeper side to her characters.
After making a life- changing decision, Caelin struggled to deal with the fall out. Soul searching and trying to stand on his own isn’t working.
Laramie writes with deep insight and shows a true to life situation. Sharing hope and help can come from unexpected places if you look.
Caelin will grab your heart strings and drag you into this quick read. It may be short but it packs a punch. This books adds even more depth to the Heaven Hill series. A must read.
My heart broke for Caelin. He is so much like his father, I love it. I can’t wait to watch him grow into his own within the club and outside of it. I have my fingers crossed for a certain girl to become his everything.
Laramie you are amazing.
This short story gives us a look into Caelin’s mind after what he had to do in Fury. You need to read Fury before you table this one. Will his family be able to help him get past his actions.
I love Caelin and enjoyed this look into him trying to deal with what he had to do. Laramie continues to provide me with wonderful characters.
Caelin was a good 4 star read and book on in the Heaven HIll Shorts series. This is a short read, you will be done before you know it. Caelin picks up where Fury left off, so I suggest you read that book prior to this.
Caelin is 17 years old and he has done something very traumatic. As we read his short story we see how he grows into being an adult and becoming an MC member. He does a good job of dealing with his thoughts and feelings on what happened along with trying to help Justice also move forward. He has an issue being called a hero, he doesn’t feel like one.
This was a good short story and I hope that we can get more from Caelin. I look forward to reading more from this series and author. If you’re looking for a great MC author, Laramie is the author for you. 1-click and get started today.

First off let me say if you haven’t read the Heaven Hill Series then you are going to be very lost with this book. Read the series then the shorts. This short story provides a lot of insight into relationships, events and circumstances from previous books in the Heaven Hill Series. This is not a stand alone nor can it be read without reading the series.
Second, I love Caelin. You can most definitely see both of his parents in him and I love the dynamic between him and his family. Caelin had to make a very grown up decision in a previous book and this book deals with how he and the club are doing in the aftermath.
This gives more answers to a lot of curve balls thrown out in previous books, some explanations are given to some on going mysteries and there might even be a hint at a possible future love interest for Caelin… or I’m reading way to much into it lol.
This short story gives context but it also gives so much emotion. All the characters in this book are reeling and trying to find their footing. You see how out of wack everyone is from previous events and you really get some great moments between characters.
Really loved this book. Cant wait for the next short!
This is a quick and very interesting read, and to better understand this story, you need to have read Fury before.
After the events that took place in Fury, Caelin Blackfoot is struggling with his feelings and this ends up affecting his relationship with everyone around him. At the same time, Justice is also having a hard time dealing with her feelings.
This is a great story to know what happened after the events of Fury. I recommend the reading.
This book is to be read after Fury to make more sense. It is a short story but loved it nonetheless as we get to see how he’s doing after everything that happened. Really enjoyed this one.
We catch up with Caelin after the events of Fury and learn that he is struggling with his actions. After a well needed visit to an old friend, we get to see things change for him.
These short novellas where we get to catch up with the majority of the Heaven Hill MC Club, are well needed. Laramie Briscoe did an amazing job with Caelin’s story and I’m looking forward to the next installment.
Loved diving deep into Caelins inner head. Please don’t read this till after you’ve read Fury but preferably the Heaven Hill series. You learn a lot about Caelin and how certain things that have occurred have influenced him and shaped him into who he is becoming.

Before I begin….make sure you read Fury before reading this book. This is about Caelin and how he is dealing with the aftermath of what he had to do and how he tries to move past it. He has been through the wringer and back and is doing the very best he can to process what he had to do but somedays it seems an impossible feat. I loved how he was there for Justice to help her through her own troubles from this tragedy. A great story and I can’t wait for more…well done!!!!
Caelin! What can I say? This is unlike most of Laramie’s books but has just as much emotion!!! Caelin has been through so much and is fighting so hard to understand and overcome! Laramie does an amazing job showing his perspective and helping him work through the trauma he has experienced. Great short read. Highly recommend reading in order as it contains spoilers!
I am loving getting to know the next gen of the Heaven Hill MC. I was worried about Caelin after Fury and am glad that his story has been told. At 17 he is mature for his age but the previous events had to have some impact on him. I was impressed that Caelin admitted his feelings and stepped up to help Justice move on as well. This story represents a reminder that “we don’t have to go through something alone. Having people who love and support you helps immensely.
So excited that Laramie decided to continue with some short stories after the last epic book! While I loved it, this book definitely left me wanting more and with more questions!! What’s great about this book is while it’s focused on Caelin, we also get insight into the aftermath of the events that took place in Fury, so definitely go read that first or this book won’t make any sense. I love that we get to know Caelin a little more and also how he handles his role in the events that happened. Per Laramie, this won’t be the last short story, which I’m so thankful for because I wanted to keep reading and find out more about Caelin and how he’s processing and moving forward.

I love this concept of short stories showing the effects of the events from Fury through the eyes of those that were impacted the most. Caelin’s story was moving and powerful. His interactions with each person was so true to the characters. The way he approaches and takes care of Justice was perfect. I am really looking forward to seeing the development of their relationship.
I loved this short story, it is about dealing with betrayal and how your actions effect others. It is also about getting out of your head and actually knowing what others think, and not just what you imagine they think. The series should be read first for more context, at least Fury. As always this is another Laramie Briscoe home run!
