It is recommended that you read “Heaven Hill Generations” before starting this series, or you will be spoiled and lost!Caelin BlackfootI was forced to make an adult decision when Justice Walker was kidnapped by a traitor within our club. Now I’m dealing with the repercussions of my actions and the blanket of guilt that smothers me from within.Or am I?
Caelin by Laramie is everything. Please dont read if you have not read the Heaven Hill story’s yet. Laramie does a fantastic job with his story and what he is going through and how he is helping Justice also. Thank you for this amazing short story about Caelin in was wonderful.
I’m so glad Laramie is doing these short stories to catch up after Fury because holy drama and questions! But Caelin is one you are just asking the question: is he ok? Is he going to be ok or was this too much for him? The way he connects with Justice is amazing.
Sweet Story of Healing!
What a sweet addition to the ongoing Heaven Hill Generations saga. This is a post-Fury short that shares Caelin’s struggle with his actions. A true coming of age story of healing, love and forgiveness. I loved it and can’t wait for the next one! Thanks Laramie for writing such wholesome and heartfelt stories.
This short and the others planned by the super-talented Laramie Briscoe are the perfect bridge between the events of Fury and the future books. Please do not read Caelin until you have read Fury, you will get oodles of spoilers. Caelin has come so far, you can really see the man he is becoming. He is evolving right before your eyes. I loved being inside his head! I cannot wait for him to get his own book, it is going to be epic! Can’t wait to see how Heaven Hill moves forward!
Caelin picks up right where Fury ends and gives us a glimpse into how what happened has affected people. This story shows us the ripple effect that Caelin’s choice has had on him and in his life. We see that he’s no longer Meredith and Tyler Blackfoot’s little boy. This story really flows well and packs a punch. You really need to read Fury first so you get the full effect of this book. I CAN’T WAIT to read the next book in the series as I’m sure it will be even better than this one. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion of this book
If you haven’t read Fury yet, stop and read that first before reading this short story or otherwise you’ll be lost. Caelin’s story picks up where Fury ended and gives some insight into the aftermath of the events that took place in Fury. This was a quick read that I had finished in one sitting but was also a great catch up piece with one of the key players from Fury. I enjoyed this short read and look forward to more like it. If you’re looking to catch up with some of the characters from the previous book then this is a good read for you.
Ummm… Wow. I knew the events in Fury were shocking and marked a turning point in the series, but I hadn’t even stopped to consider all the consequences the way the author apparently has. In this book, we experience what Caelin is dealing with as he comes to terms with the actions he took to help bring Justice home safely. It’s a lightning-fast read, but it’s packed with really big emotions. And it’s left me wanting more Heaven Hill.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Short but impactful. The aftermath and effects of the events that occurred in Fury. Reading about Caelin’s turmoil, guilt, and difficulty accepting his actions, breaks your heart, but his and the MC family will be there to see him through.
I think Drew said it best, “You are a man in a teenager’s body, Caelin Blackfoot and you have my eternal gratitude and respect.”
“I Voluntarily Received and Reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book”
This is an awesome short story!
A great ‘bridge’ from ‘FURY’ to whatever the next book will be.
In this one, we get to check in with Caelin – son of Tyler and Meredith. He’s 17. A man in a teenager’s body.
I’m hoping my predictions from this book map out in future books. (No, I’m not telling you what they are by ruining this one for you!)
Make sure you at least read FURY before this one or you wont enjoy this one. You’ll be lost.
In order to understand the dynamics of this story, “Fury” (Heaven’s Hill Generations #3) needs to be read first. This short story is about Caelin, and gives an insight into how he struggles with events, and how this is affecting his relationship with those around him. This is a short read, but boy does it pack a punch! Cannot wait to read more and highly recommend for all.
I fell in love with Caelin in Fury when he protected Justice. Caelin has come so far and is evolving right before our eyes. The events from Fury have shaped his transformation into the man, at 17, he becomes. It is so awesome to get inside his head and live through the feelings he is feeling. I can’t wait until Caelin get his full length story, fingers crossed that is still in planning.
Before going into this short story, please note that it is important that you read Fury (Heaven Hill Generations #3) otherwise you might not be able to enjoy this book in its entirety.
Caelin Blackfoot, son to Tyler & Meredith Blackfoot, a 17 year old in a man’s body and who played a pivotal role in the Heaven Hill series. This short story delves into Caelin’s psyche which I appreciate as we do want to know what happened to Caelin after book 3? Caelin understandably struggled and this is affecting his relationship with everyone around him. This book might be short but Ms Briscoe packed a punch and it was really emotional for me to read. I cannot wait to read more on Caelin in future books!
Caelin is book 1 in the new Heaven Hills Shorts series written by the amazing and talented Laramie Briscoe. It is recommended that you read “Heaven Hill Generations” before starting this series. Caelin Blackfoot, son of Tyler & Meredith Blackfoot. His story start just where Fury ended and is a very emotional one. This was a fast pace amazing short story. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to read more about him.
This storyline takes place where Fury left off and we get to see how Caelin is struggling with what happened. He is trying to hide what he is going through from everyone. A quick read that will pull at your heartstrings. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Have you ever read a really good book and wanted just a little bit more? Well this is exactly what the author has done with the 1book of the Haven Hill Shorts and I Loved it. These shorts are not to be read as a stand-alone, as the are continuations of prior incidents in the Heaven Hill MC series. In this book we get to find out what happens with Caelin after he had to make a split second decision to save his prez’s kid, Justice. A situation that both Justice and Caelin are struggling with in the aftermath.
The author has written a very heartwarming, soul searching short that had me feeling all the anguish and torment these two are feeling as well as the powerless feeling of those around them. It’s an amazing after the fact update that is a must read, well once you’ve read the series. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars!!!
Great short story! I was curious how Caelin was doing after the events of the last book. Loved to see him overcome the struggles of everything, he is so the son of Tyler! He is such a good kid, turning into an amazing man. Can’t wait to read more
If you haven’t read “Heaven Hill Generations”, by Laramie Briscoe you’ll want to before starting this. Not only is it a amazing series, it gives some needed background.
Aftershocks are rippling thru the club. Perceived as a hero to everyone but himself, Caelin Blackfoot is struggling. You can feel his pain. Its raw and it’s overwhelming. He feels so much older than his age and doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere now. He knows his life will never go back to the way it was. This is Caelin’ s story-find out if he is able to come to terms with the choices he has made. This novella left me wanting more. Highly recommend!
Caelin picks up right after the events of Fury. Caelin never thought that at seventeen his entire world would be turned upside down. He never thought he would have to kill the person he trusted the most. If you haven’t read fury yet, I highly recommend that you do before reading this.
