Cade Cauldron is good at worrying. It’s what he does. That, and manage the nutrition of the racing horses on his family’s ranch. He’s devoted to making the place a continuing success, and like 80% of his worrying is about Cauldron Valley Ranch… Right up until his grandfather tells him and his brothers and cousins that it’s time for them to marry. Then he’s got a whole other pile of worries.
… worries.
Dr. Jami Boatright has made a career out of studying modern-day marriages of convenience, and her bestselling books on the subject have made her a common name when it comes to the psychology and anthropology of marriage. But there’s one thing lacking from her research…she’s never actually been married, much less experienced a marriage of convenience.
But when she arrives at the ranch, studying the latest Cauldron cousin’s meeting-at-the-altar, Cade realizes she’s exactly what he needs: A wife who will say yes for reasons of her own. A real-life modern marriage of convenience.
But after the “I Do”s, real trouble starts, as they realize they don’t know everything they thought they did about their new spouse. And even worse…these revelations don’t seem to matter to their hearts, which keep forgetting this marriage has nothing to do with love.
Or does it?

A romance comedy of Cade, who needs to get married, decides to marry “At the Altar’s” author friend, Jamie in a marriage of convenience for her book research but will their feelings changes?
*This gets a little steamy after the wedding.
Just the premise of two sets of triplet boys raised by their grandparents is a hoot in itself. This book the story of Case and his intended is sweet, romantic and hysterically funny at times. Looking forward to reading the rest of this series as they come out
This series is great. I enjoy the banter between the brothers and cousins. Cade and Jami think they want a marriage of convenience but things change once they are married. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. It made me laugh and left me with a smile. I look forward to the next book.
Great romance from Cauldron Valley! It doesn’t get any better than this. Six cowboy cousins made up of two sets of triplets and their Grandfather has said they all need to get married. Cade’s story is the modern day equivalent to a mail order bride. I always love the family interactions and in her usual style, Caroline Lee paints the landscape and weaves a tale of love. Don’t miss this new short read!
It’s a heartwarming romance.
The brothers & cousins of Cauldron
ranch have been told it’s time to marry
& have kids.
Cade’s priority is the family horse
racing farm. He worries about the
horses & take their getting the right
nutrition. Now he has to worry about
getting married.
Jami, is visiting the ranch with
Dr. Lachele. She’s written a book
on marriage of convenience.
When Cade see’s Jami, he knows she
is the one for him. Jami, accepts
his marriage of convenience proposal.
Now can they admit their true feelings.
I enjoyed reading this story!!
This was a funny, sexy, marriage of convenience romance. Cade Cauldron and Dr. Jami Boatright agree to a marriage of convenience after the realizing they have a strong attraction for each other. They have no issues with that side of their marriage, but neither wants to reveal their deepening feelings for each other in fear that it would ruin their relationship. At least he didn’t tell her to give up her job and be a housewife like Bob did to Tessa. Cade and Jami appreciate each other’s work and intelligence, but that doesn’t stop misunderstandings from affecting their relationship. I loved the grandfather’s pet pig Herman. It was funny, but a bit over the top that the townspeople kept licking their fingers and putting them in the air whenever they said cauldron.
Caroline Lee has done it again. Cade is a keeper, but he does have an unusual career. Who do you know that checks and smell horse manure for a living? Cade and Jami’s wedding left me in stitches. Oh, the citizens Cauldron Valley would be in trouble with the current warnings to keep your hands away from your face. Caroline has continued with the comments that would apply to today, “Well, every once in a while, there is a run on hand sanitizer” and “Not like there’s a travel ban in effect or something”. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Jim.
First, let me say, if you are looking for a light-hearted, humorous, romantic romp through the Montana’s ranchland, this book is for you. This series centers around 2 sets of triplet boys who are cousins and are raised by their grandparent after both sets of parents are killed in separate freak accidents.
Cade Cauldron went to college a received a degree in nutrition and he was now in charge of keeping all the horses healthy on Cauldon Ranch. His worry at the moment and for 2 more months would be keeping Moonbeam, one of the race horses they owned, healthy as the mare was pregnant with twins. Cade worried about everything but when he grandfather had announced that he wanted all 6 grandsons to marry and soon, well, that just made for more worry.
Dr. Jami Boatright is a successful author and her expertise lies with modern day marriages of convenience. However, the one thing lacking in her books is personal experience – she is single. She has come to Montana with a doctor and matchmaking businesswoman who had arranged the marriage of one of Cade’s cousins.
Cade & Jami meet over a pile of horse manure he is inspecting as he worried over how much nutrition was actually be used in the body of Moonbeam & her unborn foals. Electricity instantly fired up between them and within days they had made a business decision. He needed to find a wife quickly and it would satisfy his Pops demands and she needed to experience a marriage of convenience to be able to finish her book from personal experience. The fun, romantic and sweet adventure was so entertaining and I would recommend Ms. Lee’s book to all romance readers.
I was gifted the Advanced Reader Copy of this book & all opinions are my own & have been voluntarily given.
Cade’s Convenience, by Caroline is a wonderful, beautiful, sweet story. Oh wow. I just couldn’t get enough of it. The writing was direct, simple and it flowed naturally. The dialogue between all characters was easy to follow along within the story.
The conversations didn’t go off topic. They stayed short and to the point. The visual description in the book, helped me to follow easily between scenes in the book. The story has family quirks that made the bond with the family more heart warming. Having the family around and the love that they had for each other almost seemed like the Waltons.
And you gotta love those Walton’s. Cade and Jami’s love affair wasn’t like a normal love affair, but how they grew towards one another was very beautiful. My fellow readers, I recommend reading this book. You will love Caroline Lee’s style of writing. She brings fresh ideas and something new to writing romance.
Until next time my fellow readers… read on!
