Savannah
All I’ve ever wanted was to find a place where I belong.
A place that I actually fit in and don’t feel like an outsider. When I met Caden Harlow, I thought I found my home. He’s everything I need to make my life seem almost perfect. No matter how much I try to stay away, something always pulls me back to him. But the urge to get the answers I’ve longed for, outweighs my feelings for him. I have to find the truth, if only to put an end to my insecurity of never being wanted and truly loved.
This is a standalone series and does not have to be read in order

Book 2 of the series, and after reading book 1, I was keen to start Caden’s book. He didn’t disappoint, he’s the joker of the brothers, the trouble maker, the fun loving guy. Him and Savannah together are a match made in heaven. Of course there was turbulent moments, but in true Harolw fashion the full family come together to sort it out. I look forward to reading book 3.
This is the second book of The Harlow Brothers Series and can be read as a stand-alone.
I really enjoyed this book! Caden and Savannah’s story is absolutely phenomenal. I loved Carter and was intrigued by Caden he was first introduced in book one. This book is full of love and the unexpected.
I really enjoyed Caden and Savannah’s story, but I figured out how it was going to end in the prologue. I fell in love with Caden in Carter’s book and he did not disappoint! I enjoy Brie Paisley’s writing, but I fell like this book was extremely predictable.
I loved this book. I couldn’t work out the mystery in this book, and was shocked by revelation.
I loved Caden and Savannah together. Caden knew what he wanted, but he took it easy. Savannah might of been scared, but you could tell she cared.
I highly recommend this book.
Savannah finds herself in Mississippi looking for her birth mother. The last thing she expects to find is Caden and the rest of his family. She had a great childhood but after finding out that she was adopted, she sort of went off the rails, and now feels like she needs to find that place she belongs.
Caden knew at first sight that Savannah was something special. But he learns that he has to treat her with kid gloves; slowly so as not to spook her and cause her to run the other way. But when in his attempt to protect her ends up pushing her further away, will he be able to redeem himself and get her back?
This is the second book in the series, and some say it was better than book one, and to a certain point they are right. The naughty bits were back to being super hot! Once again I felt a disconnect with the MCs, I felt that Caden was super childish and Savannah was a hot mess. I ended up giving this 3.5 stars.
This is the second book with brother #2, but it certainly stands alone.
I love the Harlow family, the camaraderie and love the brothers demonstrate.
Caden and his twin live together, this is Caden’s story. Savannah is in town looking for her biological mother, only she’s come to a dead end. These two had such great chemistry, I really enjoyed their love story. Chapter 20 had a shock moment, didn’t see that coming though I suspected something was going to unfold.
Great story, fun characters and I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend you give it a go too.
Savannah Owens seems lost. She introduces us to her friend, Kelsey, and you immediately feel sorry for her. Savannah has issues that she’s trying to resolve. Caden Harlow is a man that likes to use his charm on women but not everyone is impressed. He has a family where people want the same or similar – they have meals together and they talk and joke with each other. They know the right buttons to push to get us laughing – and maybe thinking about our own family.
Caden is a very likeable character and may have you rethinking your thoughts on law enforcement. The issues I had were with Savannah. You can see how young she is and with her issues you have to think how Caden is too good for her. But one thing that makes it interesting is how he seems so focused on what he wants. Their connection is hot and sexy but at times her issues just seemed to get in the way – in my mind at least.
You know that Caden is a fictional cop but in my mind I kept questioning how some things he seemed to overlook because of how much he really liked Savannah. I don’t think she took advantage of that but it’s still there in the back of your mind – what kind of help Savannah really needs. Caden has a twin brother Casen and at times I felt like he was the voice of reason – a voice that Caden wasn’t listening to. I did like that the author addresses adoption and wanting answers. It also puts an interesting twist on things as the story progresses. Savannah eventually redeems herself in my eyes. I’m glad to see Caden so happy but felt the jury was still out on Savannah. The author has done her job well because she’s gotten my emotions involved. I can’t find anything about whether or not the Harlow Brothers are going to continue but one can always hope.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Caden is witty, fun, and emotional. While there are some truly heartbreaking moments, the banter between the Harlow siblings keeps things light and fun. While this is part of a series, it worked well as a standalone. Except, now that I’ve read about this fun family, I feel the need to go back and read Carter’s story. It is a bit lengthy, but the story held my interest throughout.
