A modern-day adventure/mystery based on artifacts left by Templar Knights during a secret mission to North America in 1398. Attorney Cameron Thorne is thrust into a bloody tug-of-war involving secret societies, treasure hunters and keepers of the secrets of the Jesus bloodline. Joined by Amanda, an enchanting British researcher with secrets of her own, Cam races around New England with only two … two choices–unravel the 600-year-old mysteries encoded in the ancient artifacts, or die trying.
Based on actual historical artifacts, and illustrated.
Publishers Weekly says of the author, “BRODY DOES A TERRIFIC JOB OF WRAPPING HIS RESEARCH IN A FAST-PACED THRILL RIDE.”
This is a stand-alone novel with recurring characters. These books can be read in any order.
WARNING: Not recommended for readers with strong religious beliefs.

Great read. The more you read the more you want to.
Story line left a lot to be desired.
Excellent read — from start to finish. Made me interested in North America’s history before the pilgrims and puritains. Kudos to the author!!!
I truly enjoyed this book
If you accept any of the basic premises in this novel it is very frightening.
Really like this book. The photographs of real petroglyphs and such here in the US add to the realism in the book. My husband liked it but felt like this was a set up for a sequel. I thought it stood the test of a stand alone work.
Could not finish..seemed to be going somewhere; but side-tracked into waterskiing and latest trendy stuff. Characters somewhat formulaic and often unblieveable. If nothing more germaine is available…..
Fun. Great backup details.
This was an interesting read. The author ties many historical facts together into a cohesive and coherent whole. A work of fiction that has a believable storyline, based upon real people and history, deserves to be read by those interested in the subject matter. I highly recommend this book for history buffs, conspiracy theorists, and mystery hounds.
Another great knights templar book
The adventure and history kept me enthralled but the theories were quite controversial. I put aside that part of it and found the story fascinating. Couldn’t wait to read the next one is the series
Too much info not enough happening.
Not a “grabber” Semi Interesting. Could have been written better.
Great read! Well researched and written. Solid character development and plot. Highly recommended.
The factual historical information was wonderful. Hope to actually visit some of the sites someday.
One of the best books I’ve read in a very long time.
Dan Brown step aside. This is a painstakingly researched, believable and engaging romp in the style of the Da Vinci Code….but I frankly found it more engaging. A true “stay up all nighter”.
Started out great then went on to many rabbit trails trying to cover all possible endings… I would not reccommend this book.
I loved this book: the characters are all well developed and engaging, including the assassin tailing the protagonists, and the story is very well developed and feels very real or at least credible/possible. It’s a variant on the Jesus and Mary Magdalene had a child myth/story leading to subsequent generations, linked in to Scotland and the Masons, but this story brings the scenario to the ‘New World’. I’d highly recommend this book and, given the outstanding quality of the writing, this author as well.
Great storyline & characters! Takes long time (background) to set up story but worth every page!
