A modern-day adventure/mystery based on artifacts left by Templar Knights during a secret mission to North America in 1398. Attorney Cameron Thorne is thrust into a bloody tug-of-war involving secret societies, treasure hunters and keepers of the secrets of the Jesus bloodline. Joined by Amanda, an enchanting British researcher with secrets of her own, Cam races around New England with only two … two choices–unravel the 600-year-old mysteries encoded in the ancient artifacts, or die trying.
Based on actual historical artifacts, and illustrated.
Publishers Weekly says of the author, “BRODY DOES A TERRIFIC JOB OF WRAPPING HIS RESEARCH IN A FAST-PACED THRILL RIDE.”
This is a stand-alone novel with recurring characters. These books can be read in any order.
WARNING: Not recommended for readers with strong religious beliefs.

Contained every Templar conspiracy I ever heard of and then some. Hard to imagine.
Great characters and interesting plot, but a little too detailed and heavy in archeological/anthropological detail.
This is a very interesting book. The research of actual artifacts in the story that ties into the fictional tale inside is impressive. I really enjoyed that aspect of the story. Very compelling. For me its what makes the book. A good story thats intriguing but not very far fetched. Well done for sure. I liked it.
tedious, too repetitive, story dragged, not believable….
The subject matter of the book is enjoying and one which I am interested, especially the very early exploration of America by many peoples before history books tell us.
could not put this one down
loved it want to read more by this author
This book moved too slow for me. And it was too much like other knock offs of the same story with only a slight twist. All of it is based on fantasy, too.
Very similar in tone and plot to Da Vinci code by Dan Brown. Slightly derivative, but has its own unique twists.
I liked the characters and it kept me returning to complete reading it. I would read more by this author.
This book wove fiction and historical facts together to present a plausible story line. This made the story much easier to follow. It was a stretch to believe that two untrained citizens could consistantly elude and beat trained killers. But, It added a ” I could do that ” touch. All in all a good read.
I lost an entire weekend to Mr Brody’s writing and will happily lost another!
I really enjoyed this one. It is right along the same lines as the Da Vinci Code, but it made me think and I like that. It did get a little sketchy at times, but then everything was explained and all lose ends were tied up at the last. *S*
Brody writes fiction but except for his characters, his novel is well-researched and his themes are believable.
Loved this story. History, romance, suspense who could ask for more?
I enjoyed the way the author tied together so many historical facts and unknowns. Very clever.
I found the plot interesting. I have actually bought the other books in this series because I enjoyed it so much.
Conspiracy wonderland.
The author definitely has a deep hatred for the Catholic Church, and does not understand the truth of the Church or its teaching, dwelling only on left-wing GLBT agenda. The author does exhibit some strong writing potential, however, disappointingly loses the story midway in the book.
Seems to be a ‘take-off” on The Devinci Code. Well written. But I don’t care for the liberty taken with the story of Jesus. So…….I didn’t finish reading it.
