A modern-day adventure/mystery based on artifacts left by Templar Knights during a secret mission to North America in 1398. Attorney Cameron Thorne is thrust into a bloody tug-of-war involving secret societies, treasure hunters and keepers of the secrets of the Jesus bloodline. Joined by Amanda, an enchanting British researcher with secrets of her own, Cam races around New England with only two … two choices–unravel the 600-year-old mysteries encoded in the ancient artifacts, or die trying.
Based on actual historical artifacts, and illustrated.
Publishers Weekly says of the author, “BRODY DOES A TERRIFIC JOB OF WRAPPING HIS RESEARCH IN A FAST-PACED THRILL RIDE.”
This is a stand-alone novel with recurring characters. These books can be read in any order.
WARNING: Not recommended for readers with strong religious beliefs.

Now reading book 2!
It is believable and so good I could not put it down. Refreshing!
I never wanted to put the book down.
Good, easy read. Good periodical book.
Dan Brown meets National Treasure
Brought new meaning as to who actually “discovered” America. Excellent story, excellent writing, interesting characters. Great book!!!
Quite a good story, very original.
Thoroughly enjoyable book.
Though it is a work of fiction the research done into the Sacred Feminine and the way the plots are weaved together to form one single plausible theory was amazing.
Loved it.
Book one in the series. Cameron and Amanda first meet while both are investigating various artifacts and landmarks which strongly suggest that Templar Knights were in North America well before the Spanish Explorers. These are actual landmarks scattered around the continent and there are pictures with locations. The plot lines deal with Templars, Mormons, Egyptians and hunts for various significant religious artifacts.
Recommend reading in order
Very dense info, but repeated several times, so one doesn’t easily lose track of all the threads.
The characters are a bit simplistic, but then, they aren’t the main point. Really, the sympathetic hit-man was the best of the bunch for complexity and interest.
My only complaint was that the well-read, thoroughly historically grounded female MC says, at one point, “Thee’s more than four gospels?” It was so completely unreasonable for her not to know the Apocrypha that it really jerked me out of the story.
Well, also, the whole insulin-pump thing. There was nothing about the female MC even seeing it, let alone commenting on it when she sees the male MC getting out of the shower. A normal person would react, even if silently.
Like all of this genre, lots of miraculous escapes while all around get killed, incredible physical fitness that just keeps on going, brilliant minds that put together information no one else can see ….
A good, page-turning read for the genre. I’ll read more.
This book started off in a promising way. The idea of Europeans coming to America pre-Columbus is interesting. But right away I found the characters to be un-believable. The protagonist is a runner, a mountain biker, a water skier, an attorney, and apparently a gifted investigator. The ideas are tired, and have all been explored in the DaVinci Code. The author clearly has a problem with the Catholic church, which he conflates with all of Christianity, and the story overall is rambling and hard to follow. Every once in a while I find myself reading a well-reviewed book and wondering ‘what were they thinking?’ This is one of those times.
Fascinating story, which keeps you on the edge of your seat. The twists and turns keep coming until the end. Highly recommend! Looking forward to the next book.
This book has a very original plot and it was developed along many twists and turns. I couldn’t put it down. Loved it!
A very good read.
It is amazing the amount of history that is never mentioned or put into perspective….
Very good read!
I really liked this very well-researched book – Cabal of the Westford Knight. The characters are interesting but the subject – pre-Columbus European visits to North America is fascinating. The Templar connection is so cool and the author provides documentation to support
her contentions, I have purchased and read 2 more books by the author on the subject and enjoyed them both!!! If you have interest in either subject go for this and you will enjoy.
I had a slow start, but by the time I finished I was enjoying it.
a good read!
Enjoyed learning new (to me) history through an interesting, fast paced action story.
