What’s a superheroine to do when her super soldier ex turns up alive after more than fifteen years?Lyndsey Daniels doesn’t have much time to walk down memory lane before she and Ian Fox find themselves thrown together to investigate the mysterious deaths of ten young men in the Canadian wilderness. How do the hearts of such seemingly normal, healthy men just…stop? With the hint of an evil … the hint of an evil spirit in the wind—and a whole lot of butterflies—there’s no telling what Lyndsey and Ian are dealing with, including their own extensive baggage. Though sixteen years is a lot of life to live, there’s one thing they can’t deny: their attraction is as intense as ever. But is it just a spark that will burn itself out, or is it true love bringing them back together? When the force they’re hunting turns its sights on them, the leap of faith required far exceeds the powers of either of them. But worrying about their future might be premature because one wrong move and they might not make it out alive.
In Book One of the Butterfly Ops trilogy, Lyndsey and Ian reconnect fifteen years after seeing each other for what each thought was the last time. That the spark is still there is undeniable—but is it enough to get past the secrets and lies that tore them apart the first time around? With old tensions rearing their heads as new challenges arise, what at first seems to be a sure path back to trust and happiness is rockier than it seems.
Note: this is Book One in a serial trilogy. Book Two will be released in Spring 2019; Book Three will be released in early Summer 2019. Books should be read in order.

This is the conclusion of Jen Doyle’s Butterfly Ops Trilogy. So much happens in this 3rd book it will keep you on your toes. I loved this book and all the mystery thrown into this story. This series gets you a little bit of everything paranormal, suspense, military and romance. Loved not only Lyndsey and Ian but all the secondary characters too. Looking forward to reading more by Jen.
After an emotional ending in book 2 Jen Doyle has her work cut out for her to make us whole again. Lyndsey refuses to believe that Ian is really dead and is on quest to find him. Ian must choose between his wife and Lyndsey. A fast paced, action packed seriously emotional conclusion to this crazy trilogy.
You’re gonna need a lot of tissues when reading this book. Book three picks up after the events at the end of book two. Everyone is convinced that Ian is dead, but when Ian’s children convince Lyndsey that there father is alive, it becomes a matter of convincing everyone else. This book is one epic wild ride of a conclusion. I really enjoyed the ride this series took me on and can’t wait to see what’s next from Jen Doyle.
What a great continuation. This one needs tissues. If u were shocked with the end of book 2 u will defintely love this one. I was so in love with these characters. So glad I took the time to read this series. Lindsay thinks Ian is dead and goes through such a lose until she starts hearing voices. Then Ians children come asking Lindsay for help. Lindsay leads the team back to find Ian. Such a great
This book was amazing. What a year jerk. Heads up lots of tissues will be needed. Ian is dead or is he? Ian’s kids pay Lyndsey a visit to convince her that their dad isn’t gone and she starts to believe them and since she wants to find him. So Lyndsey tries to convince Matt to go out and hunt for him. Will Ian be found alive or dead? Will true love win at last?
This book was AMAZING! I can’t wait to see what comes next!
Butterfly Ops book 3 picks up after Ian is feared dead and the effect that has on everyone left behind, particularly his children and Lyndsey. Believing he is still alive they have to find a way through to the dimension he is held in and convince the Indian tribe to help them. Whilst at the same time Ian is trying to not give in to the princess who is holding him captive, not easy when she keeps appearing as Abby, his dead wife. For Ian to return him he must chose Lyndsey over his wife which is an incredibly hard decision for anyone to make.
I’ve really enjoyed this whole trilogy and thoroughly recommend it.
Warning…you will need 2 boxes of tissues for this one. The pain and grief of Ian’s death is overwhelming. Lyndsey starts hearing a voice in her head saying Ian is not dead and thinks she’s going cray cray. Then Ian’s kids pay her a hilarious and heart wrenching visit telling her that they don’t believe their father is dead because one of the twins had a visit from her dead mother. They ask her to go get their dad. So Lyndsey has as to convince Matt that Ian is alive and to go with her to save him. Poor Ian wakes up with his dead wife painting something on his body and has no clue where he is. We meet Tessa. And I love her. There is lots of laughs and fighting and weird weird stuff and I loved it. True love won out.
