Life is sweet, especially for a baker whose life is about to turn upside down…Take one shy baker, add one sexy bartender, a moody prison guard, an actual demon, and a man who is more mystery than anything else, then add two helpings of curiosity, one night of Long Islands and bad decisions, a steamy romance novel, and abandoned inhibitions. Mix well and wait for the fun to start. Oh, and don’t …
Oh, and don’t forget to crack a big secret open. That’s what makes this the perfect recipe for this baker to find love when she least expects it.

Great original ideas. Perfectly written and fully developed characters. Amazing world building and perfectly accompanied by a great story line. Well done! Great addition to the Silver Springs Spell Library.
Buttercup is a bit of an introvert and owns the Bakery where she tries to cater for every creature from doing Sugared flies for Igor to Blood muffins for the vampires plus every wonderful sugary concoction you can imagine in between.
Her mates are a Demon, Kelpie, Vampire & Spinx shifter and i love the interaction from Characters in Violet across to this book.
Really good well written storey with plenty of sizzle and a few more twists and turns than some of the books in this series which i loved.
I’ve been looking forward to Buttercup since I saw that Helen was writing a book for this series! The cover is so bright and eye catching and I loved the idea of a baker getting her own harem.
Buttercup has a distanced and sweet personality, but can be sassy when she needs to be. I enjoyed the mystery of what she is and how she discovered it. I felt bad for her with her experience as a child and the relationship she had with her mother, but she really did make something for herself in Silver Springs.
Casper, a kelpie shifter, was my favorite of her guys. I’ve only ever heard of a kelpie shifter in one other series and I think they’re luring and amazing. Magnus was my next favorite because I have a soft spot for demons and thought a “monk demon” was interesting. I think harems are better when at least two of the guys are already close to one another and I like the friendship that Casper and Magnus have. Logan, a vampire, was smooth and gave off player vibes even though he was shy and only had eyes for Buttercup. Ausar, a sphinx shifter, has a crappy family history in the town and I couldn’t help but feel bad for the trouble that his sister has caused him and other residents.
Although we didn’t get to see too much of her career in action, I did love hearing about some of her delicious creations. I liked that we got a small glimpse of Silver Springs Penitentiary, but I would’ve liked to see more. There was a hint at dinosaur shifters and I’m hoping that maybe we’ll get a book with them in the future!

I’m a huge fan of Helen Scott work so I already knew that this book was going to be awesome. Let me tell you that this book doesn’t disappoint!!! I loved Buttercup immediately she sassy, independent, and she makes sweet treats. Even though she does have self esteem issues which I found to be understandable due to her past relationship. But with the help of her mates she was able to put that behind her. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
I loved this story. It was sweet and charming. Buttercup was such a sweet lady with so much caring to give. The guys were great although I would have liked to learn a bit more about them. It was extremely well written and the characters were fabulous. It is a fairly quick read but it is most definitely worth reading. This is definitely a fun read that you can’t put down until you get to the end.

Buttercup and her guys are fantastic!! I really enjoyed how unusual and interesting her mates are. I’m really loving this shared series.
Buttercup runs a bakery in Silver Springs. The town is open to all types of supernaturals. She tells everyone she’s a witch, but really she is something all together different. She soon discovers she has not one, but four mates and the heat is on! It’s a quick read with lots of action. I enjoyed it, while I do think the author could have developed the guys a little more, it was still a fun read. I volunteered to read this book via Booksprout.
Book #10 in the Spell Library series has us enjoying Buttercup and her mates, as they find each other.
What I really liked about Helen Scott’s take on her Silver Springs Library contribution, was Buttercup and her men each had unique/different abilities from even the other paranormal species found in their magical town. When they final come together *wink wink* their togetherness surpasses all of their feelings of being different.
Plus, they REALLY enjoyed being together!
Out of all the books in this series, I think that Buttercup has the most interesting mix in her harem. I was not expecting some of them, but in this paranormal town, things are never what they seem. Buttercup is an interesting character and her reactions to things make this book very interesting. I am thoroughly enjoying this series and this book definitely adds to the enjoyment.
Buttercup is amazing! Super smokin hot!
This story continues where the last story ends with iris giving buttercup a gift at the hop dance and she ends up with the famous (love blooms ) magic book and butter cup is unaware what is install for her and has been to occupied with her business(the bakery she owns) and hasn’t had mush time to make friend and her only friend she’s got so far is Iris. After reviving bad new buttercup is being ordered by her friend to take the day off and relax, read a book and have a girl’s night out. Everything after that changes and wow I was not disappointed and I couldn’t put it down. This story has everything you could want and more and had me guessing what would happen next. I loved the different prov between the character and the charm they brought to the story. I all so loved how you got glimpses of the other characters from previous story old and new and how easy the story leads to the next and how funny each book is and I loved reading every minute too.
This was a fantastic story. I love Buttercup and her guys were definitely unusual and interesting. The interactions between Buttercup and her guys were fun and of course sexy times were had. It was great seeing old and new characters pop in. Loving this shared world.
Sweet, sexy and fast pasted, this was a great read that wasn’t very heavy that I enjoyed very much. I loved the characters and the Mc was adorable. Can’t wait for the next in this universe
Great original ideas. Perfectly written and fully developed characters. Amazing world building and perfectly accompanied by a great story line. Well done!
Super fun, super cute addition to the Spell Library series. Buttercup is adorable and seeing some of the guys from other books pop up really made my day. There is sooooooo much that could happen in future books, I am on pins and needles wanting to know what’s next for the gang.
I absolutely loved jumping into this story that follows our Silver Springs baker and her new mates. I enjoyed the fact that there was minimal drama so that I could sit and enjoy every moment of this book. I could definitely see there being more to Buttercup’s story given a huge revelation that occurs. Buttercup was sweet and perfect for a relaxing afternoon read!
