Mix well and wait for the fun to start. Oh, and don’t …
Oh, and don’t forget to crack a big secret open. That’s what makes this the perfect recipe for this baker to find love when she least expects it.

I loved, loved, loved this book! the first thing I noticed was that this book wasn’t fill of extra noise and fluff just to add words or make the book longer. I enjoy this type of story telling because it gives the reader so many opportunities to create their own vision of the story. Second thing I loved was Buttercup herself. Any girl that loves to bake is great by me. She was so real in her personality and insecurities, I could totally relate. Third thing I loved was all the men and their unique backstories and personalities. I’ve been a fan of this author for a while and always enjoy her books but this has to be my favorite to date. I only hope there is more Buttercup in my future!
I loved this short, fun, sweet book. I love Buttercup and her super sexy men, as well as the awesome storyline. This is a fantastic addition to the Spell Library Series. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.
What a great addition to Silver Springs. The author did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. I highly recommend this book. I give it five stars.
I love it when authors use different shifters. Not that I complain when there is a wolf shifter or something but periodically it is nice to have something different and a KELPIE! Almost feel the urge to say a kelpie, a demon and a sphinx walk into a bar and tells the vampire bartender…. Anyways, enough of my corny jokes. The book is just as charming as the rest of them. I always loved to bake and so if I had to be one character, I probably would choose this. Everything from the wings to the guys to the bakery would give me everything I would love to have in life. If you love this series, this book is definitely not one to skip and I would love to see a sequel to this
Buttercup is a baker who is gifted Love Blooms by Iris. She’s a siren hiding as a witch but thats not all. Drawn to her mates, she finds herself with other super who are unique like her. Can’t wait to see if her and her mates pursue Felix.
Bakery Shop Owner Buttercup (FMC) is near enough a social recluse but when her friends including Iris (from the book before this one) drag her out for a girls night her love life changes. In walk four hot men – Logan (Sexy Vampire bartender from Vee), Magnus (Demon), Casper (Kelpie) and Ausar (Sphinx Shifter from Rose’s Book). One lucky lady. The Silver Springs books are all a brilliant read and this one is a great addition to that series. I loved it
I love, love, love this book. It was so well done and so steamy for a novella. The characters were so great that I really hope that Helen Scott writes more to the Buttercup story. I really like that some of the men knew Buttercup before the spell hit and were already interested in her. It wasn’t all instalove. In addition, I loved Scott’s writing style and will definitely read more of her books!
Buttercup is a perfect addition to the Silver Springs shared universe. She’s sweet and shy and it’s amazing when she starts to grow into her powers it is great to see her become her true self. It’s also nice to see Ausar get a happy ending after all he has gone through! Give this book a try and you won’t be disappointed. Perfectly steamy and all around feel good story!
absolutely loved Buttercup. I have been wanting this book for a while now and it did not disappoint. Buttercup is such a sweetheart and deserves to have someone to love. It’s a fun quick read that will have you (and me) hoping for more
Buttercup is as sweet as her cupcakes. She has a little mystery to her that makes a great twist in the story. Then there is her love life or lack there of. Just when she thinks a man is likes her it seems she isn’t sure. With the hard nudge of Love Blooms’ spell, she soon learns about mates. Things get hot and busy pretty fast. Can she handle all the hotness and the men? I love how she never judges others and she definitely has some interesting men wanting her.
ONE FANTABULOUS TREAT
Buckle up! Helen delivers one fun-filled delight, bringing all the frills, spills, feels and fiascos, laying on some heat and a little magic, working this baby into a tizzy, wrapping it up sleek, shiny and tight. A churning vortex chocked-full of stunning mishaps and intense circumstances, propel those spinning emotions into play front and center, hooking you from the start and reeling you in for the duration. Crossing the lines and shattering boundaries, limitations are amplified and negotiated, booting this jewel into overdrive, kicking it into a frenzy with astonishing results. Braided, banded and interwoven, exposing the funky quirks and defying bents, displaying the soaring ups and agonizing downs, impressive in it’s simplicity and thrilling in it’s depth, molding our characters in ways they could never have envisioned. Countenance and dynamics in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into this web so deep until everything else ceases to exist. The characters, banter, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits add diversity, transforming into genuine charismatic personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and vivid descriptions creating an elaborate backdrop that makes the storyline explode. Fantastic job Helen, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
I was so excited about today because it’s release day for the next Silver Springs books…sooooo loving this series!!! Just like the other books in the series, this is a short, feel-good story about a member of Silver Springs that got herself her harem of cuties.
I really liked how you can see the growth in the characters from start to finish. This book isn’t about some fancy action sequences, rather you get to know the characters, learn what makes them unique and then watch as they work out their issues and work together on their relationships and themselves.
I’m counting down to next week’s release – we are SO close to the end of the series!
I so wanna be the lovely baker Buttercup. This story is a nice one but the mates in this book are out of this world. Sexy demon, a kelpie, a vamp and a sphinx. This is so nice. Buttercup receives news about an ex of hers and she is down. Her friends decide to take her on a girls night out and this is where she sees Logan again. She is getting mixed signals and when she walks outside she meets Magnus and Casper. She also meets Ausar. Then she learns more information about herself. Will she get to the bottom of it?
I really enjoyed this book. Buttercup is a sweet character who owns the local bakery and has spent her life trying to blend into the background, but once she puts herself out there, she finds that she has mates, and also they have info about her father.
Full of great characters, sweet mates and one very infamous book. If you loved the other Spell Library books, then you’ll love this one too.
Well Love Blooms strikes again! This time around we have Buttercup who owns her own bakery. She has not had great relationships in the past. That includes parents and ex boyfriends. So when she gets new about her ex it gets to her. Don’t worry Logan shows up and she gets mixed signals from him. Then one night everything changes. She meets Magnus and Casper, one is a kelpie and the other is a demon. Lets not forget about Ausar, the sphinx. They all have a pull to her and she is weary about it. Can she trust it? Then she finds out more about herself and she is shocked. I was really shocked by it all. Do they get to the bottom of all the information she learns. Are the guys really her mates? There is one way to find out? Will she get her happily ever after? Well I do know that once you read her story you will love her and the guys. Its an amazing book and oh boy is it smexy.
Omg this was so hot. I love this addition to the series. It was shorter but packed a hot punch. My first time reading this author but I cannot wait to see what’s next. Highly recommended
An easy sexy read guaranteed to make you tingle all over.
It’s interesting what you can do with a tail
From Lala’s Book Review
Actual rating is 3.5 stars.
Buttercup is book 10 out of 13 following the small town of Silver Springs which is a haven for all things supernatural.
I can’t believe that the series is almost over! I’ve been able to read about half of the companion series just because of my busy schedule but overall, I’ve enjoyed most of the books that I’ve read! Out of all of the books Buttercup would toward the bottom of the list just because this story was so romance driven, and I don’t mean, I just found my mates and now we’re going to get to know each other, but the majority of the book was sex. Look, I’m all for some romance in books, but I felt like this was all the book was focusing on.
Buttercup seems like a great MC because she’s on the shy side and runs a cute bakery that she lives above, and the guys that she’s mated to seem equally as wonderful, but I couldn’t tell you much about them other than the type of supernatural they are. We know that Casper is a kelpie, Manus is a demon monk and doesn’t have to met a quota for his work, Logan is a vampire bartender who’s always wanted to talk to Buttercup, and Ausar is the prison guard with a sister who did something in a previous book. Other than that, I couldn’t say much about them.
The main problem that the characters are having to adjust to is finding out about the other side of Buttercup’s lineage after completing the mating bound with her first two mates.
I didn’t see to much of the backstory in any of the characters despite them being some of the supernatural that are generally known to be evil other than the reason why Buttercup doesn’t sing because of her being part siren and when Ausar goes to visit his sister for like 5 minutes.
I just feel like everything (except for the sex) could have been expanded on a little bit more. For example, there were several times through out the books were Buttercups mentions that she doesn’t have the best relationship with her mom and all we get is one phone call in the last 10% of the book that turns into Buttercup’s mom telling her how to find out if the guys are really her mate.
I recommend Buttercup if you like books that aren’t really problem driven and has lots of hot and heavy scenes.
So, we got this ARC a little early, so by accident I already started before I read Iris. I however quickly noticed my error and put the book aside and ever since I’ve been looking forward to reading this book. And even though I was actually gonna wait patiently until tomorrow, I just had to pick up something light hearted and fun after the last couple of days I’ve had. If I have to send one more complaint message I’m gonna scream!
This book was however perfect to forget about all of that and it’s mainly because of the true star in this story. Buttercup! Buttercup is the kind of character you instantly connect with because she’s so much like most girls I know. And I don’t mean that in a bad way. Not at all. She’s a little insecure, a little clumsy, her self esteem is not that impressive and she has some trouble letting the past go, even if that past was bad for her. I think that every girl and every woman at some level can recognize that. And I guess that we therefore will all root for her.
What I also really loved is that the harem seemed to grow and form kinda organically. A lot of times with the mating bond kicking in the connection between personalities gets forgotten, but that’s not the case here. I had the feeling that every scene was building that connection. The characters were bonding, were having conversations, were being honest with each other and were pouring their hearts out and talking about feelings.
And even though there wasn’t some action packed plot slowly moving me to the edge of my seat, each and every character had their own smaller subplot. Buttercup was slowly figuring out who she was and most of all what she was, but all of her guys each had their own struggles and lessons to learn too. And because of all the different point of views I really had the impression we were really witnessing that growth.
At least, by the end of the story, I had a smile on my face again and forgot about all the stuff I had to fix today. Well. Almost.
Hot Hot Hot!!!!! Steamy delicious baked goods and hot men, what more can you ask for. A shy at first paranormal gal who comes out of her shell to meet her very sexy mates!! We don’t find out until later in the book what paranormal she is, but its pretty cool. Love how the author wove this tale together! I cant get enough of this series!!!
