Life is sweet, especially for a baker whose life is about to turn upside down…Take one shy baker, add one sexy bartender, a moody prison guard, an actual demon, and a man who is more mystery than anything else, then add two helpings of curiosity, one night of Long Islands and bad decisions, a steamy romance novel, and abandoned inhibitions. Mix well and wait for the fun to start. Oh, and don’t …
Oh, and don’t forget to crack a big secret open. That’s what makes this the perfect recipe for this baker to find love when she least expects it.

Buttercup (Spell Library Book 10) by Helen Scott is an awesome story to read. This book number ten out of fourteen and I can not wait to read the rest of this awesome series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about paranormal romance.

A wonderful, witty and smoking hot addition to the Spell Library series. I love that she learns about her unknown powers as a result of her mates and they are all so sweet, no real alphahole in the bunch. This author always gives such good books it’s never a surprise to find a new one to enjoy.
Our heroine is a baker without much of a life until suddenly she has three paranormal men come calling.
This is book ten of a shared universe series, but it does fine on its own. I have not read any of the others, but did not feel like I was missing out.
The story itself is well written and easy to read, with an intriguing setting and a fun heroine. The story revolves around her romance with the three new men in her life who are a little beyond the norm. As she gets to know them, we are treated to plenty of steamy scenes. The one down side to the story is that we don’t get to know enough about the heroes and I would like to have had more depth to their characters to really make the story stand out. As it was, it was still fun and I am intrigued by the shared universe. So I may check them out when I get the chance.
Recommended.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Helen did a great job with this story. Buttercup is a baker in Silver Springs. She goes out with the girls one night after hearing some news about her ex. That night leads to discovering two of her mates. And what a night of self discovery it becomes! Then a third mate comes along. Once the confusion with the fourth one is finally resolved, she has her own harem. Each is a different supernatural and that gives Buttercup quite the life. I really enjoyed the characters in this book. I like that all these authors contribute to this series.

A sweet, light read that can be read as a standalone or part of the series with past/future characters popping in. We get some romance with twists and turns while visiting once again the beloved Silver Springs World. The characters had a decent amount of background and personal issues while keeping the overall mood light. It was a nice read for taking a break from darker and heavier books while still having a substantial storyline.

This was a fun quick read that was super steamy. Thought the mix of everyone being a supernatural of some kind was cool. I loved Buttercup and her men were a hoot. It was actually an upbeat story with no major drama. Just pure guilty pleasure entertainment that was sexy.
I enjoyed this reverse harem because the connection between the guys and Buttercup happened organically. Yes, there’s a pull to each other, but there are also other connections forming and they all get to know each other which is great. This is also a story about trusting yourself and letting the past go. It’s fun and sexy.
Buttercup always knew that she would be alone, even though she kept having different guys popping up in her life. But the book that keeps circulating around town found it’s way into her bakery, and it changed her life. Now she has three hot men who absolutely love her and are claiming to be her mates. It takes a while, plus a lot of working together but this group of misfits finally finds their perfect harmony and Buttercup is finally happy with herself, her life, her mates, and her baked goods.
This is a cute reverse harem with Buttercup working on getting over her ex, while trying to run her bakery…although with as many freebies that she gave away it’s a wonder she stays in business.
While the guys all had their appeal, a lot of the time I can’t say that I felt any real chemistry just small tingles of awareness more than anything. While it was great that the author tried to talk about many different supernatural species that we don’t get too much of, it just ended up feeling like a case of too much in such a short story. There was not enough time to fully develop the characters and as such they all felt one-dimensional.
So while not a bad story it needed some work to have it really flesh into something deeper, than just a bunch of horizontal time with several different guys.

The story line and character work were terrific and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was another great addition to this multi author series and I was highly entertained from beginning to end.

Amazing book by this author. I absolutely adored Buttercup and her guys from the very start of this book and just couldn’t put down. The Spell Library series is just so great and this is an awesome addition to it and the characters so much.
This is the first in the Spell Library world but it will not be the last. I giggled and fell in love with everything that happened with Buttercup and her men. I would love to see more set in this world with some of the other characters. I cannot wait to dig into this world more and see how all the other will get their own men.

Buttercup is an amazing and awesome read. From the very beginning I was pulled into the world of Silver Springs. I loved watching the individual relationships between Buttercup and her men blossom and grown but also the relationship as a whole grew. I love that there is no jealousy between the men/ demon lol.
Absolutely loved reading this – the different POVs kept you interested, and the scenes were pretty steamy.
Buttercup is another great addition to the silver springs library. She’s funny and sweet and sassy and a baker who Is trying to build up her business! A well written, sweet and sexy treat for us as Buttercup meets her harem and what a group it is. Some fine hot and sexy guys, a real mixture of paranormal beings , there’s secrets and mystery and definitely some steam and fun, I’d say another win for this series!
Buttercup was so good. This half Siren half succubus and her harem of men ranging from Vampire Logan, Demon Monk Magnus, Kelpie shifter Casper, and Sphinx shifter Ausar are hot and so adorable together
This story was absolutely amazing. I loved learning about Buttercup and her new mates as well as all the newness they bring out in her. Did see that coming and it kept me Turning pages to see what happens! Absolutely loved this book.
What can I say? Love Blooms strikes again – in the very best of ways <3
Buttercup is getting her bakery up and running, but when all seems to be going well, misery begins to search her out. Good thing a bunch of awesome guys are there to see her through.
I LOVED the story and I can easily see a sequel coming along. A definite must read - a great addition to Spell Library series.
Wow talk about steamy this book was so good and the scenes between buttercup and her men were even better. I love reading books with either a baker, or a cook, or anything to do with food so I loved it. I wish I could try her baking in real life just maybe not the blood filled pastrys. This was an awesome addition to the silver springs series. Definitely five stars from me!!
Fun story with plenty of magic and likable characters
