Melissa:Ever since I landed in Alaska I can’t get comfortable. The entire state reeks of testosterone. It’s not doing me and my fantasy life any favors but it’s Rogue that finally put me over the top. My pilot. The man exudes masculinity. He is the epitome of rugged, the poster child for wild, Alaskan man.Rogue:Melissa lands in my life full of the kind of stories that could fill up the silence of … could fill up the silence of a lonely Alaskan winter and keep a man company while those sweet curves of hers keep him warm but filling my place with a woman’s things has never been part of my plan.
So why am I changing the route to make sure I’m the only bush pilot she’ll be seeing up at that cabin this summer?

3 & 1/2 stars rounded up.
My biggest gripe, quite a bit of editing/proof reading issues for a published book. That really hurt the star rating more than anything else. The story flowed well, & I liked the characters. The story pulled me in right away. I was cheering for the H/h to get their HEA. The love part of the story seemed a bit of a stretch (really more chemistry than love), but for entertainment value was real good. The sex scenes were good, but the near misses for sexual encounters were hilarious! Enjoyed the humor thru the whole book. Definitely worth reading.
Who would have thought that this travel blogger would wind up in Alaska, and in a very remote area. The only way to civilization is a plane and one very VERY hot pilot. Melissa is going to be in the remote place for up to six weeks, maybe less maybe longer. She is being flown to her destination (along with some stops) by Rogue. The delicious pilot! Her phone has some books downloaded to it, she blushes when he leans over her shoulder and starts reading the part she is at in the book out loud. Melissa is attracted to him and is willing to show him, if only he would show he is interested.
I have a little plane for smaller deliveries, I did not anticipate that I would be the one to pick up this travel blogger instead of my partner. He has a wife and child so something came up and I am filling in for him, and my prize is this beautiful woman. All Rogue has to do is drop her off at that cabin in the middle of nowhere. He has some other deliveries to make as well, so she is along for the ride. She is not one to complain which is great. As he leans in over her shoulder to see she is reading a romance novel, he can’t help but tease her a bit. What he wouldn’t do to have her do those things with him, but is she interested?
The banter between these two is a good foreplay for them, they seem free of the fake fronts people put on with each other. Rogue helps her to her cabing, even goes around and checks things, making sure she is stocked up with wood, food and the generator is working. He also helps her by putting her suitcase in the bedroom, he also helps her unpack a little, and finds her “entertainment” in there. When Melissa discovers this she blushes (again) but keeps the banter up.
Then Rogue decides he is going to be the only one bringing her the deliveries to her from this point on. He shows up every 2 weeks, and they start to address the feelings they are having. There is a lot of awesome chemistry between Rogue and Melissa. He starts thinking of the future with her in his house. He even goes so far as to clean out a room he thinks will make a great office for her. Rogue doesn’t do long term relationships, and he feels this is right. Melissa had a serious boyfriend, but it came down to the fact that since all her friends were getting engaged and married, then having kids that this is what she also should do. Turns out that was not the feelings she had for him. She thought she didn’t want marriage, kids and all of that, it just so turns out she did just not with that other guy, nope she did with Rogue.
He surprises her and shows up with groceries and an overnight bag. They become very much a couple over that weekend, and then a small twist happens. Now there were a couple of times they had started getting “close” to one another and were interrupted, but not this time. No, no! This also leads to the small twist….it causes Rogue to really think how to keep Melissa here with him, and it causes Melissa to realize she doesn’t want to leave. But to be honest all of the relationship is just too good to miss. Way too good.
Loved it
A fun, funny, fast paced and steamy love story. Rogue Emery Masters is a smoken hot, and he knows it, cocky, Alaskan bush pilot. Mel is a travel blogger. She was offered an assignment to spend the summer in a remote Alaskan cabin and blog about her adventures.
Rogue and Mel have an instant attraction. She isn’t buying what he is selling. Rogue can’t get her off his mind. A summer fling wouldn’t be so bad. Just when Mel gives in, fate decides to become a cock blocker.
Loved Rogue and Mel. His proposed was caveman sweet and so was the epilogue
Arc review for honest review. Melissa is in Alaska for the summer for work when she meets Bush pilot rogue . This is such a great book I enjoyed the how these characters interact with each other.
This is the fun, tempting, and quirky story of Melissa and adventure writer and Rogue a hot Alaskan Bush pilot. Melissa is in Alaska for the summer to write a series of articles about life on the outer limits of traditional society. She meets the hot bush pilot on her first day and sparks fly. Rogue is a pilot who makes runs to different “towns” and delivers supplies for people who live on the outskirts of Alaska. He is tasked with flying Melissa to her new home. There is an instant attraction for the couple and their interactions were great to read. Due to the fact that supply runs are only every few weeks, Rogue finds himself taking the run over for another pilot so he can have time with Melissa. Their adventures together are laugh out loud funny. As a reader I found myself rooting for them to get together. There was a lot of humorous interference with the Alaskan wilderness, and the timing issues added a great amount of fun to the story. I loved each of the characters and their own unique personalities; they were each searching for something but not knowing what that was. I loved Melissa’s independent spirit and Rogues hot alpha ways. They completed each other. The ending was sweet and the story as a whole was a great fun read. This story was different from the author’s previous ones and it was longer. It was incredibly enjoyable and is highly recommended.
