Some secrets are better left buried… realized. Her only saving grace is Baz, the elusive playboy she’s given her heart to. But will placing her trust in a man like Baz be her downfall?
I stayed up all night reading this book! I couldn’t put it down. The final book in the Twin Lies duet was EVERYTHING!!! Oh, I could definitely be on board to be Baz’s Dirty Girl!!!
This book me had me on the edge of my seat with the mystery of Madison’s death, all the unanswered questions and with my worry for Mackenzie’s well-being. I loved Mackenzie’s character and especially her tumultuous relationship with Sebastian. This book was so worth the wait!!!
I highly recommend this book and this is one series you don’t want to miss! Bury Me With Lies by S.M. Soto is an EPIC read the will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

„We are entwined. Our pasts colliding with our present, quite possibly even ruining our future.”
It’s official. S.M. Soto is an emotional terrorist. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve experienced a mini heart-attack during this read. The continuation of of Baz and Mackenzie’s story is completely unpredictable and surprising. This book has so many shocking twists and turns that I was reading it with my mouth agape and eyes wide open. But I’ll be honest here, it was the most exciting thrill I’ve experienced in a long time!
After Kiss Me With Lies I had no idea what to expect next. And I’m glad I didn’t make any theories because jumping head-first is the best thing you can do about this sequel. Soto took me on a ride of my life with Bury Me With Lies. This book is addictive, riveting and all-consuming. I devoured every word like a junkie going through withdrawals. The need to know all the answers was stronger than ever and I felt like a lost person in a labyrinth. The suspense in this story is intense as hell!
I loved Mackenzie’s determination and her drive to solve the mystery and seek justice. She showed a lot of bravery and strength to reach her goal and she didn’t let anything get in her way, not even love. She’s strong-willed and relentless. There were many setbacks on her way to get closure, but her resolve was unyielding.
Baz is still the man we hate to love and love to hate. But when he’s still this intense and dangerous man, we get the glimpses of his humanity, when he shows his caring and considerate side. This sexy beast made me fall in love with him even more than before.
These two are combustible and even when everything shows that they’re bad for each other, they can’t stay away. Their chemistry and passion is out of this world and I couldn’t get enough of them together!
Bury Me With Lies blew my mind. I can honestly rip my heart out of my chest and deliver it to S.M. Soto on a silver platter, because this story owns me. The lies, deceit, betrayal, mind-games and ever-present hotness blended together so beautifully that I was completely captivated. I have high hopes that we’ll get more stories in this world, because I’m not ready to leave. Twin Lies duet is high on my list of forever favorites. Must read!

Loved this story with all the plot twists and secrets. The book kept me in suspense right to the very end. i did start to work out a lot of the twists as the book when on and I guessed whodunnit quite early on with only motive escaping me. I thought there may have been a lot more sinister motives at play once the big reveal happened.
The whole pinnacle of this story (who murdered Madison) seemed to take a back seat for quite a while. I did find it got quite wordy in the middle. The too’ing and fro’ing between Madison and Baz (Sebastian) got quite tedious after a while and it didn’t bring a whole lot more to the story by dragging their relationship out for as long as it did. All that being said, I did fall in love with Baz but something felt missing between the two main characters, I just didn’t quite feel the connection and I think that’s because they spent most of the story pushing each other away that when they did finally decide to give in to their feeling I was over it!
There also seemed to be a whole lot of plot twisting going on in the background and more POV’s from Baz having conversations with members of the the savage’s would’ve helped gel the plot together more and possibly given the characters more of a connection.
Loved the duet and loved this author’s writing as a new to me author. Will definitely be picking up her back catalogue.

I was so excited for this book to come out and it did not disappoint. This book took me on a crazy journey with some unexpected twists and turns. S.M. Soto did an amazing job with this book! Just when you think you know the characters she throws something new at you that sends you back into a tailspin not knowing what is going to happen next but knowing it is going to be insane. Baz is someone you feel like you should hate in the beginning but all you can do is love him. Mackenzie has been burned by everyone around her and doesn’t trust anyone for good reason but for some reason deep down she has a deep connection to Baz but she doesn’t know if she can actually trust him. This book just gets more intense the more secrets that they reveal to each other. You do not want to miss this book series!
I have received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

This has been an incredible, tough and unforgiving journey. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!
‘Bury Me With Lies’ by S.M. Soto is the grand finale we have all been waiting for in the ‘Twin Lies’ Duet.
In order to be able to read and completely understand this masterpiece of a book you have to had read the first book: ‘Kiss Me With Lies’.
For me, this book was a beacon of light- albeit a dark one- during this proving time we’re going through.
If you have read the first book in this duet, then you know you are left off with a broken heart, so many questions left unanswered and a running mind that won’t shut up about these characters.
I gotta admit, the plot of this book took me by surprise. I did not see any of the things that have happened coming at all. But I guess, that’s what distinguishes an amazing book from just an ordinary one right?
‘Bury Me With Lies’ is nothing but extraordinary, an incredible read I wouldn’t dare put down, a toxic love that will take over your heart and soul.
If you thought the characters had gone through enough in the first book, you will have to prepare and be ready for everything that’s coming their way.
These characters will have to walk through the very worst parts of Hell itself and try to come out alive; they will have to overcome pain, grief, betrayal; learn how to communicate, how to deal with each other, learn how to trust blindly even when it all feels like lies.
Mackenzie’s life has been far from perfect, from her teenage years to now, she has had more pain in her life than most people could take. She is a livewire full of rage and a thirst for blood, a need for revenge woven in her DNA that will put her in danger more often than not.
Mack is strong and resilient but after all, she is still a broken woman in search of the truth and in search of herself. She has strong trust issues, no matter how much she tries to let everything on and move one, it just seems impossible.
The only sliver of hope in her life is the very thing that makes her look crazy and insane to the world, forcing her to grow up, grow a thick skin and try time and time again to put her shattered piece back together.
Sebastian, more commonly known as Baz, is still as hard, dominating and stoic as he was in the first book.
He is confident and resourceful, a man that dominates every room he enters, a shark with no qualms in eating you in one bite.
Due to recent events, he is starting to doubt everything around him, forcing him to look deeper and deeper into their past to make something out of all the lies around him.
Baz is a beautifully strong man who’d go above and beyond for those he cares about, but he also knows what pain is and how dangerous weaknesses are in his world.
He is as closed off as he could ever be, but he will learn how to open up, how to show emotions, how to care for the two most important people in his life, but most importantly, he will learn how to openly communicate, even if it takes time.
Mackenzie and Baz’s relationship is a tough one with more downs than ups. It is one full of hatred, rage, and angst, full of fights and broken trusts.
They are two people who should never be together, two lost souls who found their place in the most unconventional and dangerous of places.
This novel tells a painful story that seems buried too deep to ever see the light of day, one so dark and toxic it doesn’t feel real, a story buried in a decade worth of lies and betrayals.
But it also tells a beautiful and unique love story, one that defies all odds, one that seems impossible but also inevitable.
‘Bury Me With Lies’ is a dark masterpiece that will fill your veins and infiltrate your heart and soul in order for you to find the beauty in it.
A must-read duet written for the broken souls out there, for the lost souls who never stop looking, for the pain-filled ones who are not scared of getting blood on their hands in order to find happiness.
This story will stay with you till the end of time, woven into your being, a beautiful and broken love.

What an EPIC conclusion to Mackenzie & Baz’s story… Picking up right where we left off in book one ( you definitely need to read book one to understand what’s going on ) WOW What a tangled and twisted read. Everything that I thought I had figured out was not even close to the truth! Seriously, S.M. Soto did NOT disappoint… So much betrayal, so many lies… Can Mackenzie & Baz trust each other to uncover the truth behind that fateful night?
I don’t want to say too much and spoil anything… So I’ll just say this read this duet; it’s full of all the suspense, all the twists and turns and one completely complex and unique connection that’ll have you burning through the pages! SO GOOD!

I was dying to get my hands on Bury Me With Lies after reading that epic cliffhanger in Kiss Me With Lies. I had so many questions and once this baby landing on my kindle all of my other books fell to the wayside. Baz was calling my name and let me just S.M. Soto DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This book is epic and my emotions were at an all time high. I was crying, mad as hell, scared and simply mind blown with all of the revelations that were slowly trickling out. I loved Mackenzie’s determination and the love she had for her sister Madison who never let give up. My heart broke for Mackenzie throughout this book, but I loved her even more when she picked herself back up. Baz, oh this fine sexy character was amazing to read. He may have let pride get in his way a time or two, but when it mattered he was there and no one was going to get in his way. Mackenzie and Baz have a fire between them that no matter who or what tries to tear them apart won’t win. I love how the book came full circle. Through all of the tears, suspense, and pain Mackenzie proved the Savages couldn’t bring her down. This DUET is everything and I highly recommend it!!!

I don’t even know where to start with this review as I don’t want to give anything away. Bury Me with Lies is the conclusion to this duet and HOLY WOW does it take you for one hell of an epic ride. I can’t even begin to explain the twists and turns, secrets, lies, and surprises that you will read. You will hate Baz and love him. Mackenzie and her poor twisted soul is pulled in every direction but thru it all there is Baz. You must read book 1 and you will want to immediately jump into book 2. Highly recommended!

Wow…..an amazing conclusion to a duet that has definitely taken me on a rollercoaster of a journey!!!
Bury me with lies continues exactly where we left off and I couldnt be more thankful because after that ending I needed badly to know what was next….
Can Baz and Mackenzie get past events that unfold or is their miss trust of each other to big of a hurdle?
As truths are discovered more lies are told, can you really trust anyone? A huge rollercoaster of a book that kept me glued to the pages just as you think your working things out boom another twist comes along to throw you off course..
Fantastically written book with a brilliant gripping storyline.

This story had me intrigued from page one and the second half definitely doesn’t slow down with the twists. Mackenzie is a force to be reckoned with. She’s headstrong and impulsive with a obsessive need for revenge. At times, I wanted to grab a hold of her to make better choices but really the girl needed a huge hug. Baz…don’t get me started. I loved him hard but at the same time he doesn’t foster a lot of trust with his secrets and lack of communication. All in all, it adds up to lots of unpredictable behavior and a story you can’t set down. I had this compulsion to know what happened and how it all would end. Loved it.

Bury Me With Lies by S.M. Soto was a maze of secrets ,twists and heartbreaking passion. Even after finishing it, I am not sure I have all the pieces in right place. This story is that complex and intriguing. Add a high steam quotient to the mix and this story is unputdownable.
This book is the second and final book of the duet so you must read first book else the entire story will be spoiled. Mackenzie Wright is on a war path to take revenge on the Savages for killing her sister. In the process, she falls in love with Sebastian King aka Baz, the rich and powerful owner of the mega hotel and resorts chain. The story begins where Mackenzie is in hospital fighting for her life. What happened? Did someone try to kill her? Will she find her answers? Can she really trust Baz whose friends are cruel psychopaths? Will she destroy Baz’s life? Can Baz love the woman who is determined to take him down? So many questions.
I fall in deeper love with Baz King in this story. Yes he is arrogant alphahole. Yes he can be dangerous when threatened and when someone tries to hurt people he cares for. But the author revealed an unexpected yet fitting soft side in this story. He is feeling betrayed and angry with his so called brothers. He wants to hate Mackenzie for turning his world upside down but he loves her against all odd. He is such a delicious and swoonworthy combo of fire and ice! Mackenzie is the true warrior. She fought against influential people with no morality and went through hell for bringing out the truth. She did some idiotic impulsive things to put herself in harm’s way when Baz had a plan in place. And I was briefly irritated with her. But she made decisions best for her situation. I honour her determination, dedication and resilience. They have a complicated chemistry. They hurt each other with vile words and hateful actions. But that’s all for covering their all consuming love and fiery hot passion. They have sex like they are trying to kill each other. They need each other like air and push each other like poison. It’s a brilliant interplay of love, hate, longing and angst. The storyline kept me at the edge of my seat as it weaved through the lies, the secrets and the deceptions till the very end. No other couple deserve HEA than Baz and Mackenzie.
S.M. Soto slayed me in Bury Me With Lies. The passion. The adrenaline rush. The life changing emotions. Her enticing and edgy writing reached deep inside my heart and soul. And I am owned.

Bury Me With Lies in part two of the Twin Lies duet and jumps straight back into the action after the most epic cliffhanger in Kiss Me With Lies.
“Sometimes, the two people who should be apart are the ones who find their way to each other.”
I love reading about a love story that defies all odds. A love that shouldn’t work but does. A love that is messy but passionate at the same time and that is exactly what SM Soto gives you with Bury Me With Lies.
“Women didn’t come between the Savages, but she almost did.”
The Savages are back and seeking to silence Mackenzie but at the same time Mackenzie is still seeking her revenge on the Savages. It’s dark, gritty and kept me on the edge of my seat for the whole book.
SM Soto had me twisted up in knots reading this. I didn’t know who or what to believe. Just as I thought we were getting the truth she would throw another curve ball leaving me gasping and confused as hell.
If you love romantic suspense, alpha guys and bombs being dropped all over, then read this duet. It’s jaw dropping.

Phenomenal!
“When you love someone, it’s easy to fool yourself into believing it’s hate instead. They’re two sides of the same coin, both one and the same, and the two emotions are starting to blur together for me.”
The suspense and deceit had me on one crazy ride. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time while reading. Every twist and turn holds your captive, and it as you trying to figure out the truth about what happened to Mackenzie’s sister.
““I’m going to take from you. I’m going to take what I want and then leave because that’s what I do. And you’ll hate me for it.”
The heat between Baz and Mack was straight fire, that you can feel coming off the pages.

WORTH THE WAIT! The author will take you on a seemingly never-ending emotional roller coaster and you will love it!
Book one left us with an epic cliffhanger and book two picked up right where she left us with our jaws dropped.
You’ll get answers to every burning question you have. The smolder will continue to ignite into a conflaguration between Baz and Mackenzie. A few surprises I never expected keep you devouring this intriguing read. A truly hauntingly beautiful duet you just can’t stop thinking about!
Mackenzie needs the truth. This need consumes her. She wants justice for Madison at any cost. Baz battles between his feelings for Mackenzie, the abundance of lies that have been told and his loyalty for his brothers. No one will walk away unscathed. Some will lose everything.
This was an incredible journey that brings you through a range of emotions. I loved the suspense and the love between Baz and Mackenzie. They shared the kind of love that sets your soul on fire. It was a battle, but it was all consuming and completely destined. Mackenzie will get peace and closure, but ultimately she will find love and be loved.
I found this story to be beautiful even at it’s darkest. A woman who was lost, found her happiness. A great duet that will be on my Top Reads List for 2020!

“I desire the things which will destroy me in the end. -Sylvia Plath
Honestly, i don’t know how to start this review and how to tell you more about it…
Well, I was waiting like crazy to dive in this book since the first part left me with my jaw dropped in a way…
I needed so many freakin’ answers and from already the prologue with Madison’s POV the author dragged me into her sinister world, in their web of lies, for once again…
“So many fucking secrets. I’m surprised we can even breathe in here. It’s starting to feel as if they’re burying us.”
The story picked up exactly from the point that it left us in the previous book… and i’ll tell you this, Mackenzie’s problems had not an ending and still… she was determined to bring justice to her dead sister and to make these five men to pay….
And even though, she is in love with one of them, that will not stop her… No matter what…
“Twins don’t just share the same face or similar DNA. They share the same soul, the same life. You can’t kill one without killing the other. And that was the mistake they made.
They left me alive.”
I don’t think i can tell you more about this story, since i’m afraid that i will make a spoiler and that is not something that i want to do….
It was a little bit difficult for all these web of lies to unfold and the mistrust between the main couple was reaching another level…. and it tired me a little bit at some point…
But i enjoyed this story and i won’t hide to you that at some points near to the end, i was even moved by some things….
“You don’t trust him; he doesn’t trust you. This is a fucking disaster waiting to happen.”
“There’s nothing he can say that make me trust him. They’re murderers, and they need to be taken care of- put in their place.”
Mackenzie was stubborn as hell and very impulsive. She was acting before thinking and that was bringing her all the times in more troubles that she could handle…
Thank God for Baz!!! Without him, she couldn’t survive and still, after everything that he did for her… she couldn’t trust him…
Yep, there were feelings in the equation, but that mistrust because of all these lies that were standing between them, it could destroy them once for all… Both of them…
“I feel like I’m crumbling. I am broken in every shape and form. My body and spirit are shattered.”
“Our entire relationship had been tainted by lies, and now, we were buried in them.”
“You’ll never be done with me, Mackenzie. You know that just as well as I do.”
I won’t lie to you!!! I had loved Sebastian from the very first moment….
And in a strange way, i always had faith on him… For an unknown reason, i believe that he wasn’t like the rest of them…
And yes, he had made many mistakes himself and he had so many hidden sceletons on his closet, but he had proven himself in here… Over and over again!!! And now, i’ll stop talking!!! Bahahaha…
“Why are you helping me? You should hate me…”
“Oh, i do. But there’s some sick part of me that loves you more.”
“She purposely has a shield up around herself, a vine of thorns wrapped around her heart as her form of protection. Whenever I reach out to grab it, claim her as mine, those thorns embed themselves into my flesh, leaving me to bleed out.”
I really liked this story. It was intense and full of suspense…
From the first moment, the author was making me quest everything and everyone in this book….
As for Madison’s secret??? I had a feeling what it would be and i was right about it…
I really felt bad for all these shits that this girl had to face and then her cruel and unjustified death…
I wish i knew a little bit more about her and some certain things…
“How dare they enjoy themselves while my entire world is turned upside down
How dare they be young and free when there’s a darkness that now taints my soul because of them?” {Madison}
As for the rest of the Savages??? I really didn’t like them a bit, especially after all these ugly shits that they were pulling all the time to Mackenzie… Especially Trent, Zack and Vincent weren’t my most favorite persons in the planet. They deserved the worst.
But you know what??? For one weird reason, my heart was breaking for Vincent in the end….
I’m crazy, right???
“The best love stories are when you fall for the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.
Our love was unexpected – a chaotic blend of messy and beautiful.”

Bury Me with Lies continues straight from Kiss Me with Lies and thankfully, we get some answers to the cliffhanger we were left with. Lies, deception, secrets and suspense fill the second book of this duet and we continue to see Baz and Mackenzie struggling.
I don’t want to say too much as to not spoil it for everyone but while book 1 had me at the edge of my seat and needing more, book 2 fell a little short for me. I felt like something was lacking and while there was still the suspense and of course, that ending!- Baz and Mackenzie’s relationship almost didn’t seem as true with all the miscommunication, the arguments, the trust issues. I get they went through some horrible things that could affect the relationship but even towards the end, they seemed like a couple who give the impression that everything is cool but there is something that lies underneath that has them questioning each other’s intentions. It was a bit of a killjoy at times, but while there were some frustrations for me, the writing is still amazing, we get a lot of answers and again, that ending!! You definitely need to read Kiss Me with Lies first before getting into Bury. 4.5 stars for me!

You have to have read Kiss Me With Lies in order to read this one. I was left with my mouth hanging open after the first book with that cliffhanger and I was glad to see that this picks right off the ending of the first. There is more deception and lies and so much angst that I felt frustrated with Baz and Mack at some points. But the story will grip you and I couldn’t put it down until the very end when finally my heart stopped pounding.

I really don’t know how to start this review as I was feeling a lot reading this story. This is the second book in the duet series and is the conclusion to Mackenzie and Baz’ story! Even though it picked right up after the cliffhanger of the first book, to be honest I was bit underwhelmed throughout a big part of the book. It still had me intrigued though and thankfully in the end I got my satisfaction and my answers!
Mackenzie lays in a hospital and doesn’t remember much of what happened. She is still determined to find out what has happened to her sister but it’s not getting any easier. To try and uncover the truth, she will have to get back to the one place she thought she’d never return to. Baz has been through a lot and has been on the hunt to get the answers he needs. When he and Mackenzie reunite, he makes her a proposition she can’t refuse and slowly they both try to uncover the truth and find out what happend to her sister. But there’s something both don’t know and that secret will be laid to bare in the process. Will they both make it out unscatted?…

5 I NEVER Saw Some of the Twists Coming Stars!!!
I’ve been anxiously awaiting the conclusion to the JAW DROPPING ending in Kiss Me With Lies since I turned the last page at the end of 2019! This book picks up right where we left off which just brought me back into the suspense of The Savages and what they’ve said and done!
There’s so many secrets that are coming out in the open that cause Baz to have to make decisions that could change everything he’s always believed in about who his friends are and what they’ve done. And oh Mack she’s a woman that has a vendetta and because of what’s happened in the past, Baz may just come along with her to bring her revenge to a climactic ending!
While we’re on this ride we see Mackenzie change is so many ways. All for the good. She matures almost before our eyes and this powerful love they’re building between them is life changing for them and everyone around them.
Ms. Soto has written a book full of suspense that takes us on a ride that starts from the first page and doesn’t let up until the last page. There were true moments that I was gasping out loud and there’s a darkness that sucked me in and wouldn’t let go. I literally couldn’t force myself to put this book down… I HAD to see what was on the next page and in the next chapter!
Is this review vague? Yes, yes it is. It has to be because I don’t want to provide any spoilers or even hint at what’s to come in this book. If you read KMWL then you’ll understand what I’m saying. If you’ve waited until BMWL to read them both, I say go forth and be prepared to not stop until you’ve made it through both books!!

This is the 2nd and concluding part of the duet, and what a phenomenal story this is which continues straight on from where the 1st novel ended. Mackenzie and Baz need to work together to solve the mystery of that fateful night. No spoilers: this is an absolute must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written flawless story which is filled with revenge, secrets, lies, twists, betrayal, angst, danger and love. I was totally captivated throughout this riveting page turner, and I highly recommend for all.

“How dare they enjoy themselves while my entire world is turned upside down
How dare they be young and free when there’s a darkness that now taints my soul because of them?” {Madison}
***I received an ARC for the exchange of an honest review. Thank you!***
*ARC received for my honest review. Thank you!*
*3,5-4 stars*
