After Kiss Me With Lies, I was so excited to continue this Mack and Baz’s story. Somehow this book didn’t leave up to book 1. Even though author has tried to tie up loose ends, I wasn’t very satisfied with the conclusion.
Book two picked up right where book 1 left us with our jaws dropped. First 35% of the book was dealing with the aftermath of book1 incident. It was frustrating that the story was not moving ahead. But I was intrigued enough. Now Mack is aware of, some of the savage’s involvement in Maddison’s death. They are struggling to silence her and she is determined to get justice.
Mack —“This isn’t over”
Baz — “I’m counting on it”
With regards to accident incident, Mack and Vincent are spinning a different stories and Baz is confused and he doesn’t trust both. Same with Mack, she doesn’t trust any savages including Baz. Now stakes are high. At some point in the end, first 30% of the book felt sort of redundant (IMO), yet, I justified that part with — “She doesn’t have any extra skills, power or money apart from her determination to come out of that situation”. Inws, Story picks up post that and we get answers to what happened on the night of Maddison’s death.
After 70% story took an unexpected turn where Baz sets Mack free and gives her a chance to have her dream life. It was like reading an epilogue early. I did like those instances between them and how they bond with each other, along with Ava. Plot pace was up and down for me. At some points it moved faster and at some places it was slow.
Secondary characters – Zach was justified. I didn’t get answers to why and how Trent was involved in all this. Marcus was nice. Vincent, I find it hard to believe Mackenzie is ok with just letting Vincent go free. Just because he didn’t trigger the bullet doesn’t get him off the hook and vice versa for Zach (not literally). I was looking for the reason on her parent’s obsession with Madison, which wasn’t justified.
As for Baz and Mackenzie there was way too much miscommunication and lack of trust in each which I honestly get with everything that happened but also felt it to be unnecessary.
Over all, it was a nice conclusion with twists, turns and a slight touch of paranormal instances. Enjoy this suspenseful story.

Woosh! That is the sound of my head whipping back and forth from the whiplash I got from the rollercoaster of emotions throughout this duet! This is Book #2 and the conclusion to the Twin Lies Duet. It is an amazing, twisted, heart-stopping, intensely emotional read. You think you know who is guilty, whodunit…but guess again! You don’t even know the half of it. This book was completely captivating. It grabs your attention from start to finish. The story continues with danger, revenge, death, heartbreak, and tragedy that will gut you. Mack will stop at nothing to discover who murdered her sister, Madison. The steam and chemistry between Baz and Mackenzie aka Mack are off the charts. I must say that I absolutely loved them! The question is… Will Baz and Mack be able to push past all of the obstacles and mistrust to finally have their HEA? There are jaw-dropping revelations and questions answered. Lives will be changed forever! Hang on for this thrilling ride! You won’t be sorry! It does end in a HEA.

Wowzers !! We pick up the story straight after the ending of book one. Reading this book was like watching a suspense movie. Nothing prepared me for the twists that Mac would face. The author took the storyline and turned the dial to maximum. Once I started this book I didn’t put it down. Every page every chapter only intensified my need to know what was going to happen next. S.M. Soto has written one of the most captivating intense riveting duets I’ve read this year.

Bury Me With Lies is the thrilling conclusion to the Twins Lies duet and is the type of book that you will not want to put down due to its mystery, intriguing characters, and kindle melting moments! This romantic suspense is guaranteed to pull you into an intricate web of lies, secrets, and betrayals all while making you question just what really happened all those years ago and who can one really trust?
This engaging novel picks up right after the epic cliffhanger at the end of the previous book and you will find your heart racing and yourself second guessing everyone and everything. MacKenzie continues to struggle with all of the lies and deceit when it comes to Baz and the other Savages and I could not help but admire her strength and dedication as she attempts to unravel the truth. However, there were moments where I really wanted to shake her for some poor decisions and recklessness. Oozing raw sex appeal and power, Baz is positively sinful, alluring, and in possession of a filthy mouth. He pretty much embodies all of the characteristics that I love in an alpha hero. He finds himself immersed in a series of lies and betrayals, thus paving the way for mistrust as well.
I found Bury Me With Lies to be an entertaining, spellbinding read that had a good intricate plot and flowed well. Yet, I found the middle of the book to be too long. There was a lot of back and forth between Mackenzie and Baz and I felt that while it moved at a good and steady pace, some sections could have been removed without detracting away from the story. The last 25% was phenomenal due to some spectacular, albeit slightly predictable twists. I really enjoyed the underlying mystery, the action, and the suspense that surrounded the characters. Baz’s and MacKenzie’s journey is an interesting one and I loved the chemistry between them. The plot was well thought out, the characters were well developed, and I like how the author left the reader guessing throughout the entire duet.

The epic conclusion to Kiss Me with Lies is finally here and you will not be disappointed. What lies and truths will finally be uncovered? Can Mackenzie Wright finally find the truth and get justice for her twin sister Madison? This is a story like no other. What a wild, suspenseful, mind bending ride. A cleverly written romantic suspense with so many twists your head will spin. My jaw needs to be picked up off the floor!!! You are not going to want to miss this masterpiece. All your questions will be answered. I hope someone makes this into a movie and have some tissues close by! Of course Baz Kingston is still delicious as ever and oh so tempting and his chemistry with Kenzie is beyond perfection; Told in dual POV.

Before you can understand this book you’ll need to read book #1 because this book picks right up or book one left off. There’s so many twists and turns more than a roller coaster. But this book is so good. I mean unbelievably good. Can’t wait for the next book.
