Ok, so. I’m suffering from a delayed concussion. WOWWWW. If you’ve read this far, your world is about to start spinning (and not in a good way).
I feel this book was probably the nastiest of them all (which I’m 110% behind, duh!). That boys locker scene….
The conclusion of Dolce vs. Darlings and just like the two prior books, you will be pulling your hair out.
The Dolce are out for blood and will stop at nothing to get what they feel is rightfully theirs.
Chrystal learns a lot about her family in this book and as hard as it is for her to believe, she knows in her heart, it’s all the truth.
The ending was perfect. Chrystal and Delvin finally get the HEA that at one point seemed too far away.
Amanda L’Orien continues to do a phenomenal job with the narration of this series. Her accents are perfect and make it easy to distinguish between characters.
I was provided an audio ARC of the book and decided to leave an honest review.
Book 3 and final in this trilogy. Wow, what a trip! High school bullying at its fierest! Two families fighting for dominance. I have stated in last reviews that there is no loveable characters in these books. Well in this last one we get to actually see a little goodness. Especially in Devin and Crystal’s relationship. So strong and powerful. Of course, with the two families at odds, they couldn’t be together. All very violent and entertaining. I highly recommend this series.
I was gifted an Audible version of this book from Story Origin. I loved the narrator. She brought all the feels and attitude to the story.
This is my voluntary review.
This is the third book in the Willow Heights Prep Academy: The Elite, a Dark Bully Romance Trilogy. This is an epic conclusion to this amazing Series. The story continues where the second book left off. Devlin and Crystal are such wonderful characters. Crystal is definitely reckless. Delvin is dark, and enigmatic. They are perfect together. The world building between the Dolces and the Darlings is complex, and enthralling. The storyline is emotional, and entertaining, filled with unpredictable twists and turns. The cast of supporting characters is impressive. Amanda L’Orien did a fantastic job with the narration. If you like Dark Bully Romance, this Series is definitely for you!
I’m not gonna lie here, I did the bad thing. I barreled through this series like a prize bull at the rodeo. There was NO stopping once I started. Good for my reading streak, bad for a timely review. Kicking myself. Let me tell you right now, no matter how much I pack in this review it will NOT cover everything nor do the series justice. It was THAT good and THAT expansive in its content. I couldn’t possibly say for sure what happened when because by the end of the series so much had taken place. So here we are with the dreaded series review rather than individual books.
This series centers around Crystal the ‘princess’ of the Dolce family and Devlin Darling. Essentially we get the city girl plunged into a small town left to decide if she will continue on the path that she had grown to resent or if she will finally break rank and become the woman she had dreamed of being. Meanwhile her family has one goal, end the Darlings. She’s left torn. Stay loyal to her family, or to her heart?
Guys, these characters were INCREDIBLE! Not just our mains but the side characters through the whole series. There were happenings in the background that had us constantly piqued and craving everything they could give us and more. Each of them were facing their own battles of morality, their loyalties, and their need to be true to themselves. These pages bled conflict. They seeped unrest.
By the end of the series I was completely swept away. I was NOT ready for the end. I NEEDED to see how they all came out. And guess what? THERE’S MORE! Yeah! I had NO idea that there is a series after this one that centers around some of the remaining characters from Willow Heights. And believe me, you will be dying for it.
This series will leave you one of two ways at the end. I wouldn’t dare speculate which one nor sway you with the possibilities. I will just say, if you don’t read this one, you WILL regret it.
Bury Me (Willow Heights Prep Academy: The Elite, Book 3) is the finale in this dark high school bully romance; a twist on Romeo and Juliet star-crossed lovers. I absolutely loved the epilogue – a heartbreaking ending. The dark plot is intriguing and the differences between The Darlings and The Dolces are intricately weaved with Devlin and Crystal’s complicated relationship. The writing style is captivating and keeps you craving more. Sensual moments, love and heartache in this tumultuous listen. Narrator Amanda L’Orien multi-character pov ‘s are easy to distinguish between. Her inflection changes with the characters and their emotions. A smooth and easy listen. Absolutely love listening to this series with Amanda’s narration.
This story was sooo good! It picks up pretty much right where the last one leaves off. This is a dark story with a lot of twists going on. If you are not looking for a dark bully romance than do not pick this up. I also highly recommend reading the first and second books as you need information from there. This book is written very well. I listen to the audio book for it and the narrator really brought the story to life for me. They did a fantastic job. Crystal is being torn in two directions and trying to choose her family, her brothers. She has some hard choices to make and figure out who to trust. She is figuring out that both sides might be using her and she is watching her brother unravel with everything that has gone on. Her family isn’t satisfied with what they have gained and she’s not sure how far they are prepared to go or how far she can be part of it. This story was great and pulled me in from beginning to end.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Fantastic conclusion! I love this series so much! Devlin and Crystal are everything! So angsty! Crystal’s character grew so much over this series. She really came into her own and stood up for herself, despite how truly hard it was with her family’s overbearing attitude. Devlin really stepped up, especially when it came to Crystal. And OMG! Devlin and Crystal are so dark and dirty together, they had me gasping and writhing! Everything came together for an ending that I am absolutely here for. And the narration was excellent as usual. I can’t wait for more from this world, I’m beyond excited for rest of the Dolce Family!
Wow wow! Definitely worth the read. This third book sum up everything. How Crystal’s father got his empire! Crystal still loves Delvin and Delvin still loves Crystal! But how can they be together…
Bury Me (Willow Heights Prep Academy: The Elite #3) was another great read by Selena. This is the final book in Crystal and Devlin’s story. It seems as though Crystal got what she wanted and should now be happy. Her brothers made the team but now they want more. They want to rule the halls of Willow Heights and her father wants to rule the town. Unfortunately for them her brother is still haunted by what happened to him and rumors are going around about what happened to her in the locker room. She never would’ve believed that Devlin, the boy who tormented her, could be the only person she can trust. Crystal is pulled between the Darlings and the Dolces and this could be just what destroys her. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.
Loved it! By book 3, really sometime in book 2, I had an appreciation for Devlin. I loved him by the end. Crystal goes through her own journey and must figure out if having love can defy what her family demands. If you want to read these books you have to be ready for the intensity because there are some dark themes. Yes, its a bully romance but even that is up a notch or two from some out there. The writing is well done. The characters learn a great deal. The plot gets crazy but if you’re okay with that then I think you’ll enjoy what this series has to offer.
Bury Me by Selena had appealed to me through the blurb and sample. Somewhere it lost its appeal through the bullying. With 9 hours of constant bullying, it got old. I requested to review this book and am supplying my unaltered opinion. I wish I would have taken to heart the warnings. I went into this book with only having read the blurbs of the other 2 in this series, thinking this would be a new take on Romeo and Juliette. There were some similarities but that was a stretch. The ending of the book was well done and enjoyable.
So, honestly, I wasn’t so happy with this series. I had kept hearing about how it was a great read and the series was unbelievable but, sadly disappointed from the beginning. I was expecting way more from it. It felt rushed and all over the place. I mean I know all things must come to an end but sometimes it is best to work on the ending a little more than usual. I received an arc.
Wow, that was so not the conclusion I was expecting and god do I love that! I totally thought I knew how this was going to go but clearly Selena was not going to let that happen. I absolutely LOVE when I can be surprised with a books plot! The series starts off with family drama and you’re immediately picking a side. As the series goes on you’re asking more questions and trying to figure out who is really at fault. By the end of Bury Me I had done a complete 180 and truly did not expect that! I predicted I’d be hating the father by the end, but I did NOT expect who I was actually upset with. Man I love this series so hard! Willow Heights Prep Academy made it immediately onto TalkNerdy2me’s Must Reads List right after book 1, and it held it’s title right until the very end of Bury Me. Do yourselves a favor and READ THIS SERIES!
Enjoyed the trilogy. The war between the Dolce Family V. darlings came to an end.
Wasn’t expecting the twist of events with what really happened with Royal, but could see why it was done in order to get “reign” of the town. Already had a feeling what was going to happen with Crystal Dolce since her and Devlin were hooking up often without any mention of protection. I enjoyed the story, but honestly felt like the ending was sort of rushed. Was expecting more to happen with Crystal and Devlin once they came up with their plan..overall good story. Cannot wait for Royals story maybe we’ll hear more about Crystal and Devlin.
I never predicted this ending and it loved every single page. One other thing I loved is the realistic story..It wasn’t some romantic fictional ending.Devlin was perfect in this book and crystal was a queen.cant wait to read king’s story

Selena writes an epic conclusion to Devlin and Crystal’s love story. From book one Crystal has started to question just who her family is, and how much do they keep her in the dark. Each book sheds a light on just how immoral her family can truly be. Crystal realizes that maybe she wants to be more than just the doll told what to do, what to look like, and where to go.
Devlin has always seen a strength in Crystal that she couldn’t see in herself. He has been drawn to it even as he wants to destroy it, and her to get to her family. The two family’s have such an intertwined history that will only lead to destruction if they continue to be together.
Selena must choose between her family who has kept her in the dark but love her in their own ways, or the boy who doesn’t care what she can do for him he just wants her. Their story is brilliantly written, and beautifully crafted. Selena definitely has found her calling in the dark bully romance category.
Trigger Warning: Like all of her books Selena does put the warning in her book, and it is not unwarranted. You do read at your own risk as there is some dubious consent, and abuse.
“I don’t need a necklace to prove my worth. I already wear a fucking crown.”
So.. okay. What a whirlwind of back and forth of emotions. I had to constantly remind myself just how young these kids are. Especially Crystal. I was getting annoyed with her back and forth banter inside her head but hey.. she’s like 15? 16?
So I totally get it.
This is the final book of the trilogy and to be honest, it seemed a bit rushed. We got no one thoughts on the ending. No closure with literally anything. I’d like to know what’s going on with the Dolces at the end. About Dixie? Dolly?
Maybe we’ll know about it in Kings book?
Oh –
And I don’t care what anyone says.
I fucking love Royal.
I volunteered to read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and to submit an honest review. After the incident with Crystal in the boys locker room, Devlin has announced how he feels about Crystal. No one tries to bully her now or they will have Devlin in their faces.
Royal needs counseling after his kidnapping; he considers Devlin his arch enemy and tells Crystal she’s no longer his sister or a Dulce as she will not stay away from Devlin. Even though their relationship has its own roller coaster ride, every incident brings Crystal and Devlin closer. Until football season ends, Crystal and Devlin have “alone” time every Friday night after games. Crystal supposedly is with her friends.
There is so much I would love to say about Bury Me; however, I won’t ruin the story for others. Bury Me is an excellent conclusion to the series. I am looking forward to reading about King and Royal as they embark on their futures.

This book was sooooo good. Crystal has slowly started to question what it means to be a Dolce through this series. She’s had to give up love, her own choices, and other personal freedoms. Throughout this book, her character grows A LOT. She’s finally realizing that maybe being a Dolce isn’t want she wants as new secrets and betrayals come to light. So much steam, angst, and suspense!
