The twist and turns will still keep you guessing. Red herrings are everywhere which makes it even better.
Its suspenseful and thrilling and I cant wait to read more.
Fantastic novella! Had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Full of action and suspense.
I loved that this dives into Paige and Elias life and Paiges inner turmoil. There a new gruesome mystery to solve and the way the details are given they are so clear that it gives in even bigger edge to this series! Can’t wait to read the remainder of it
Here we have another emotional, Intense, dark read that will have you trying to figure out who is doing it. So many twist and turns you won’t see what’s coming. Another page turner that will have you on the edge . Can’t wait to read the next
For a quick book, I’m amazed at how many twists this author can fit in! It’s a fantastic read and we get to see Paige a little differently, as a wife and mother, as well as a kickass detective! This story is fast paced and will have you hooked from the beginning. A nice little addition to the series.
Another exciting installment to a great series! I really liked that this one focused mostly on Paige, she has gone through so much so it was nice to see her so happy and content. But as with the other books, there were new victims, new suspects and a bunch more twists & turns.
4*
The Detectives are busy again with their latest cases this time it involves a family who adopted two girls. They urgently need to find who is behind these murders and quickly.
This story gives an insight to Paige and the struggles she has with her inner thoughts.
Another good story
What a brilliant novella to a fantastic series.
Yet again red herrings will stump you which I love when the author does.
Paige and Elias deserved this book, like everything else in series it still wasn’t smooth sailing.
Wow what an amazing book so many twist and turns absolutely loved it can wait to see what happens in the other books
In this story, which comes after Six in the Count to Ten series, Paige and her firefighter husband, Elias, work together on an arson case. Ryan Xander, Paige’s partner works with her to try to solve the mystery.
This story holds secrets that keep you amazed and wondering. Just when you think you might have a handle on what is happening and perhaps why, you realise that there are more twists and turns than a piece of barley sugar.
I loved seeing Paige and Elias together with their family. It was such a relief after the terrible trauma Paige had suffered in previous books, she certainly was owed a reprieve. Her fears are real though I felt and I admired the way Elias handled them.
My word I am amazed at the wickedness of the evil characters this author creates, her mind is a bit of a worry.
