EZRA FIELDS IS A FIREFIGHTER AND SINGLE DAD. Spending his days fighting flames in Nashville, TN, his best nights are spent at home with his favorite girl—his daughter, Livie. With no time for distractions, he has no room in his life for other females—not even a sassy blonde-haired beauty and the first woman to spark his interest in years. Ezra doesn’t have the time to get involved. So, he walks … walks away without getting her name, or giving his…
HANNA HAS NO INTEREST IN SETTLING DOWN. She can’t even commit to a hair color, an address to call home, or a man. Too busy with her career as a traveling nurse, a relationship is the last thing she needs or wants. So, it’s inconvenient when she falls—literally—for the one person as uninterested in love as she is. At least that’s what she’ll keep telling herself.
Will a spark turn into a wildfire, or will their love go down in flames?
Burning Love can be read as a standalone, has steamy scenes and an HEA.

Ezra & Hanna are the absolute perfect couple. This book is a page turner and you won’t be able to put it down. Ezra is a single father that loves his little girl unconditionally and deserves to find his second true love. Hanna is stubborn and doesn’t believe the “one” is out there.
Jacie pulls out all the emotion in you and makes you feel everything from the first page to the last. You will truly love this story, wonderfully written!
One of my favorite things about this book is the fact that it was so real. I think it is a true depiction of the fact that not everyone is looking to fall in love and get married. Or that they have reasons to not think it is what they want. I feel to it is accurate that you can change your mind but that you have to make sure that you can understand and love yourself before having that with someone else.
The story was so well written and beautiful. It brought a few tears to my eyes. It had quite a few surprises in it and it makes your heart break a little and then get put back together. When a story can do that and make a character or two turn themselves around it gives you hope.
A story like no other I have read recently and for that I am blessed to have read it.
Ok, I’m sorry but my favorite-st part of this book is Brent. I like Squirrel, oops, I mean Hannah. I like Ezra. I think the story is interesting and fun with humor and heartache. I love Livie and Hannah’s dad and even her mom turns out to be ok. I love Ezra’s mom and that she pushes him. A very nice story with warm and heartfelt characters.

Hanna meets Ezra when he rescued her from a fire in the next apartment.
Fate steps in when his daughter livie is hurt & she’s the nurse in charge of her care.
He knows they have chemistry but her childhood made her wary of love.
I loved Enza character and understood the hurt Hanna had behind her.
A well written book I couldn’t put down.
Looking forward to reading the next book in the series “Love Ignited.”

This is the 1st book in a new series from this author, and is Ezra and Hanna’s story. Ezra is a single dad and a fire-fighter, and Hanna is a travelling nurse. Neither of these characters is looking for a relationship, but the chemistry between them is off the charts. This is a beautifully written story which is emotional and steamy. I recommend for all.
Burning Love is the first book in the Slow Burn series. This was a wonderful and a delightful read. I truly enjoyed read about Erza and Hanna. They had really good chemistry. This was an easy to read and a page turner. It has a good storyline and well written.

Her job as a traveling nurse kept Hanna from making any commitments. She did not want to end up with a broken marriage, like her parents. Ezra, was a widower trying to raise his daughter on his own while working as a fireman. He buried himself in his work and caring for his little girl so that he wouldn’t have to risk losing his heart again. That’s the funny thing about hearts though, sometimes they just want who they want. After their first meeting, there is a spark that just can’t be denied, but will it be enough to overcome all of the obstacles in their way. Hanna is scared, and somewhat insecure about being good enough to be in Ezra and his daughter’s life. Plus, they only have a few weeks before she leaves again on assignment. Will that be long enough for Ezra to make her see that they deserve a chance? Also, can Ezra learn to trust another woman with his baby girl? There is a point in this story where one of the characters goes to do something and I was just pleading with them to stop, because you just know that it’s not going to end well. That scene made me cry a little because I felt so bad for them. Anyways, never fear. The author finds a beautiful way to wrap up the story that will leave you smiling! This is a wonderful story about forgiveness, letting go of the past, and being brave enough to let someone into your heart. I can’t wait to read what’s next from Jacie Lennon! Ezra and Hanna meet when her neighbor’s apartment catches fire. In a hurry to get out Hanna trips putting pants on bumps her head knocking herself out. Ezra finds her and gets her out. They meet again when Ezra’s daughter is taken to the hospital when she hurts herself.
Hanna is a runner. She doesn’t stay in one place long enough to create attachments or relationships. She grew up in a turmoil filled house. Her parents were always fighting and her mother is a nightmare. Ezra had a good childhood. He’s a widower and loved his dead wife with all his heart. He’s been grieving her for the last two years. Hanna and Ezra have a connection. Ezra convinces her to have a “non” date. He’s hoping that he can convince Hanna to stop running forever. Hanna has it bad for Ezra but she’s scared to stop running, especially for a single dad with an adorable little girl who is so easy to love.
I loved this book. It checked all my boxes for a great book. It’s well written with a good story that flows well. The characters are enjoyable. If a book can make me laugh, cry and smile it generally ends up on my favorite list. I can’t wait for book two in the series.
