The great plot was well written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!

Okay story but not believable for me
Burning Hearts is the fourth book in The Raven Boys series but the first one I have read. M.A. Lee is a fairly “new to me” author having read only a couple of books before this one and they were not MC stories which I have read a lot of. This book is not really a MC story, at least not to me. While the book description sounded like it held a lot of promise I did not think it did for me.
So I am sorry to say but I just could not get into this book or connect with the characters……..which I had really hoped I would. For me this was an okay story that I am sure others will like as we all have our own tastes. I will still read more by this author as I did like the other books I read.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Burning Hearts is the fourth book in The Raven Boys Series and is Drake and Lacy’s story. This great MC story has terrific characters that have amazing chemistry together and a good story with action, suspense, and steamy romance.

I have to say that this whole series is PHENOMENAL! I love ALL the RAVENS! Each has his own set of come hither sexiness that any woman would want to snuggle with at any time of the day or night! WOW!

I so enjoyed Lacy and Drake’s story! It’s a good addition to the “Raven Boys” series. The story is a fairly quick read that is very addictive and captivating. Love the characters! Drake, the oldest Raven brother, and Lacy, the wild child. These two are dynamite together. This is a nicely developed story with some romance, steam and definite action, illegal activity and fantastic twists and turns.
I struggled to finish this book because of the juvenile plot and TSTL characters. The MC is more like a boys club, whose members just happen to ride motorcycles and hang out at a bar as their so called clubhouse. Drake and his brothers are duped into participating in an illegal activity when they are offered a very large amount of money doing a protection job. Lacy decides to take matters into her own hands and confront a blackmailer. Both scenarios were equally unbelievable that anyone with brains would accept.

Drake gets a business proposition from someone he doesn’t know. He accepts because it’s a ton of money for his club, and he wants to buy a piece of property so he can marry Lacy and build their home. The job isn’t what it seems, and there’s a really big surprise when they find out who they’re working for. I loved this story, and found it hard to put down, especially when the plot twisted and the real action began. Drake and Lacy are so much in love (pretty steamy love scenes for these two), and he’s finally ready to move forward. I read this as a standalone, but wish I had read the other three books first (they’re on my to-read list).

This is book four in the Raven Boys series. Lacy and Drake’s story begins with Lacy’s friend, Ivy dating Drake’s brother, Jameson. This is how these two opposite characters meet and how their paths become crossed. Lacy is a bright and vibrant woman that is hardly unnoticed. Drake is the tall, broody biker that folks will cross the street to avoid his scowl. But not Lacy, she is up for the challenge. In fact, Drake challenges her on many levels which attracts her to him. As their relationship starts heating up, complications start popping in. Can these two make it through the twists and turns ahead? The Raven brothers are being fried and tested. A really good story with another set of great characters to enjoy!

Apparently there are 3 books that came before this one, and I’m kicking myself for only stumbling on this series now. This was fantastic.

Drake is one of the Raven Boys and Lacy is his girlfriend. She knew once she saw him that she wanted to be with him. They have lots of obstacles to face. Sweet romance and read.
