This is the conclusion of Pike and Gigi’s story and it was everything I’d hoped it would be. Be prepared for boatloads of drama, twists and deep emotions as the story unfolds. I think what really makes these books so special is the epic bonds of family and friendship that wrap around and support the romance that takes centerstage in each book. Whether we are lucky enough to have that kind of support system in our own lives or we wish we did, it takes an already amazing, swoon worthy romance and makes it even better by adding plenty of heartfelt to it.
This story is more about Pike’s past and how it comes to change his and Gigi’s lives. I teared up at times and laughed at Gigi’s crazy cousin Tamara. I loved Gigi and Pike together. This is a great read with a hot, tattooed alpha man and the beautiful woman who gave him a life he was missing. I can’t wait to read wild child Tamara’s story! The Gallos are awesome and always into drama.
Starts straight off where Flame ended so you need to read that first.
Pike know with what went on he has to talk to Joe, he wants him to respect him and he knows he’s only concerned for his daughter, but he lets him know he will protect him with everything he has.
Gigi makes her feelings known as only a Gallo who loves does, with all her sass and attitude, showing she loves like a true Gallo and nothing will come between her and Pike.
They go through a lot, but they stand firm about their love and earn the love and support of all the family and Pike leans that the Gallo’s never let anyone do anything alone and are there to support each other.
‘Her world revolves around her family’
‘We’ll always be her family Pike, but you’re her world now”
The flame was lit and then all it took was the love between Pike and Gigi to have it be an endless burn. Their story lit me on fire and at times left me breathless. As Pike’s past comes crashing into his future this man will sacrifice everything including himself to save the woman that will own his heart for eternity and the people that are her world. An action packed love story overflowing with heart, sacrifice, family and trouble. Burn will have you riding high on emotions from angst, drama, mayhem and heartfelt passion. These two bring more than a heatwave to your kindle, so be prepared for Pike to steal your heart and Gigi to have made us Men of Inked addicts proud of the woman she became.
Burn is smokin hot! It is also the continuation of Pike and Gigi’s story that began in Flame. So, if you haven’t read Flame yet, stop, go read it because Burn picks up right where Flame left off! This book is full of twists and turns, steamy moments and characters you can’t help but love.
Pike never seems to be looking for trouble but trouble and complications seem to be following him around every turn when all he really wants is to find peace and happiness with Gigi!
He has had the opportunity to see what family truly means by simply being the presence of the Gallo family. Family has always meant so much to these people and because of that, they love deeply and always support and protect each other. It is something he never had growing up.
Gigi has found a man to fall for that has all the qualities she loves about her dad. He is fierce, loyal, passionate and would protect her with his life. Combine that with her smart, sassy, loving personality and these two are a perfect match for each other.
I love this new generation of Gallos and can’t wait to see what shenanigans they will be up to next!
I didn’t think that Chelle Bliss could top Flame and not only did she accomplish that goal, she exceeded my expectations!! Burn (Men Of Inked: Heatwave #2) is freaking amazing and one hell of a wild ride. The storyline is exciting, action packed, concise, engaging and entertaining.
Burn starts off right where Flame ended and I couldn’t have been more happy about that. Pike and Gigi’s journey was filled with surprises, plot twists and turns and I went through a rollercoaster of emotions. I loved their character development especially Pike’s as Ms. Bliss gave an in depth look into his past which at times was emotional, heart breaking and relatable. They also continued to burn up the sheets as their sexy times were so HOT and STEAMY!! And of course the Gallos never disappoint when it comes to their witty and hilarious antics.
I couldn’t put Burn down, I didn’t want it to end and I adore Pike and Gigi so much. Although Pike and Gigi’s story is complete, I am HIGHLY anticipating reading Tamara’s book, Wildfire.
Burn is the second book in the Men of Inked Heatwave series. Burn picks up right at the very second Flame left off! Gigi and Pike are always in some shit! I am loving this series so hard!! The Gallos are off the charts in this series. I love having all the original Gallos and now their children are just as sexy and hardcore. All the new characters bring so much dynamic to the series. Bringing Aussie and TamTam in the mix was freaking hilarious. Cannot wait to read Tamara’s big adventure. Keep rocking them out, Chelle!!!!
Burn by Chelle Bliss is book Two in the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series. This continues the story of Pike Moore and Gigi Gallo, so you should really read the previous book ‘Flame’ before starting this one. This book does pick up where we left off with Pike’s past coming forward again. Danger being present for them and of course some family drama on both sides. But this book does settle on their story conclusion and hints into the next books story line.
This was a hot drama romance read that is hard to put down.
Burn is book two in the series and the second book for Gigi and Pike. I loved it. It was filled with some suspense, drama and family time. I loved Gigi and Pike. Their chemistry was amazing. I seriously loved their relationship. Can’t wait to read more in this series!!
This is the second book in The Men of Inked: Heatwave series. You MUST read Flame first. This picks up right where Flamed ended.
While I loved Flame, there were a few parts that just didn’t do it for me in this book. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great read. I love Pike and Gigi.
The biggest thing that bothered me is the truth that Pike learned in the letter his mom wrote to him. If he wasn’t going to do anything about it, why even say it. I was hoping he would meet, or at least reach out to Ashton.
I’m just a little let down by that.
This is a great read though and has great characters.
Tamara is a little over the top though, especially with Crow.
Can’t wait for more.
Man i LOVE Gigi! I’m not sure I could love any Gallo kid like this one. Her smart mouth, her sass, her willing to go toe to toe with anyone and her love and loyalty. And then there is Pike, like what a match for her! I loved this book, I loved reading more about Pike and what he went thru and what he is overcoming. I feel like Chelle Bliss books are getting better and better each time, Everytime i pick one up I can not put it down. Keep it up girl we are all loving it.
Burn made me stay up way past my bedtime! Wendy for Janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
I love Chelle Bliss books! She knows how to write tattooed, hot as sin, alpha men and the sassy women who can tame them. Burn takes Pike and Gigi on quite a ride. We get the continuance of their budding relationship with all kinds of crazy suspense. Loved that we got to spend some time with the cousins getting to know them a little better too. I can’t wait for Wildfire!
I was so excited to finally get my hands on this book.
I needed to know what else Ms. Bliss had planned for Pike and Gigi.
Yeah she puts them through some wild terrifying times.
But she has them come out stronger than ever.
And more confident in their love.
Pike is a tough guy that’s been through so much pain.
But still has a big heart.
And Gigi is strong and brave.
The Gallo family is one amazing team.
They love fiercely and protect with their lives.
It was so heartwarming to see Pike finally having his family.
I absolutely adored Austin!
I hope we get more of him.
Gigi and Pike’s story continues in the next installment in the Heatwave series. And boy, is it everything and then some! I freaking love the Gallo Family! I am just overloaded in all the feels with these stories. Its emotional, swoony, HOT, funny, and breathtaking, all bundled perfectly together. My need to devour these books up in one sitting is so overpowering because its just that damn good. Chelle knows how to write an alpha man, she excels at it and satisfies on every level.
If you’ve read Flame, book one in the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series, then the story begins right where things left off. You’re smack dab in the middle of all the obstacles, family drama, and burning passion. I can’t express how ecstatic I am for the next installment, Wildfire. I’m so excited to see where things are headed as we get into Tamara’s story. I’ve probably said this before but these novels feel like Home. I get to escape into this world that Chelle creates and all her words are simply put. just sheer perfection.

4 1/2 Stars
This is book 2 in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series and it is a continuation of book 1, so please read book 1 first. You do not want to miss a single thing with Pike and Gigi.
This story picked up where book 1 ends and the roller coaster ride doesn’t stop until the last page. In this story, there are still plenty of Gallo family members and even Pike’s little brother. But trouble seems to follow Pike, although he tries to keep Gigi and her family far away from it. But once you are part of the Gallo family, they are always there for you, no matter what.
This review is going to be short because I do not want to give anything away, you just have to read it for yourself. It is a wild ride that will have you laughing, crying and leave you wanting more.
I can not wait for more, book 3 is Tamara’s story and it is going to be a wild adventure.
**Copy provided by the author and this is my honest review**
The first thing I need to say is please read Flame before you pick up Burn because this book is the continuation of Gigi Gallo and Pike Moore’s story.
I’m not going to write a review that’s full of spoilers you need to read this book with no preconceived ideas, go in with your eyes open because I’m sure like me you will love Gigi and Pike’s journey to find their HEA. This couple can be just as stubborn as each other which makes them perfect for each other, the chemistry is sizzling hot and the author has got the perfect mix of love, passion, humour and angst in this romance , add in the hint of mystery and suspense and you get a great read.
I’m going to be honest and say any thing Gallo is always going to be on my radar, I love everything about this family, I love their loyalty, the bonds they share but must importantly the need to protect what’s theirs. Second generation books don’t always work but Ms Bliss has certainly got it right and this series is starting to look as good as the original Men of Inked Series. Looking forward to book 3.
Flames are burning everywhere!
This book didn’t let up at all. It was heartwrenching and suspenseful which makes for a major emotional roller coaster! There’s a few gut punches in there – literally & figuratively – that had me reaching for a tissue (or my sleeve, depending on where I was).
Just when you think things might settle down for Gigi and Pike… nope. Hopefully a bit more peaceful happily ever after is ahead for them.
Except now, her wilder cousin Tamara is up to some crazy antics that we’ll get to read about in the next book. I cant wait!!
Burn begins where Flame left off………..Someone had broken into Gigi’s apartment and attacked her, only to find out when Pike storms in that it is none other than his dad, Colton Moore. Shocked to their core, Gigi’s family is called in to take care of the intruder whom the Feds have been looking for.
Pike’s life growing up was not an easy one. He left as soon as he was old enough and never looked back. He kept in touch with his grandmother some, but not his little brother nor his mother. When Pike learns that tragedy has struck back in Tennessee, he makes the hard decision to head back to Tennessee to help with the arrangements. Gigi informs him that she is going with him, to which he strongly disagrees, but Gigi being Gigi and all, they head out. Once the arrive, Pike’s little brother, Austin, is so glad to see him. It’s when the two of them spend some time together talking, Pike discovers the truth about what happened and what Austin had to endure. With Pike being all Austin has left, other than his aging grandmother, the not so easy decision is made by Pike to take Austin home with him.
Once Pike, Gigi and Austin get back home and head over to Gigi’s family’s home, Austin overhears Pike expressing his frustration with the whole situation and takes off. Once apologies are made, Pike thinks that, finally, his life may straighten out and the bad stuff is over. However, their father’s criminal activities seem to have no end in sight as Pike and the Gallos are targeted by someone wanting what Colton Moore has hidden that is worth a fortune. Pike knows one thing: he will never let anything happen to Gigi or a member of her family, which puts his life on the line….
Burn is another amazing story written by Chelle Bliss. Pike and Gigi are great together and I loved their interactions. I love that Gigi is her own person and that Pike lets her be just that. And, once again, it’s Pike who just breaks your heart. Once deeply buried memories resurface for him, your heart will break even more. But, it’s the decisions he makes regarding his life that makes him one of my favorite characters I’ve read in a very long time. Add to all of this the Gallo family, and you find yourself not being able to turn the pages fast enough. The world that Bliss has created will suck you in from the very beginning. Well done, Chelle Bliss!! Very, very, very well done!!!
Pike and Gigi are one of my favorite Gallo couples along with Joe and Suzy, of course. I couldn’t wait to find out what was in store for them next. I read the entire book during a long car ride, and my emotions ran from nervous and excited to elated and wistful. As with all of the Gallo books, I felt as if I was right there with them as they maneuvered around the obstacles that came their way.
Pike always spoke to Joe in a respectful and confident manner. He never backed down from Joe’s scrutiny and his love for Gigi never wavered. I admired the way Pike vowed to always protect Gigi and keep her safe, even when Joe was giving him dirty looks. Pike feared that his past would catch up with him someday. He was glad he had the loyalty and expertise of the Gallo’s to have his back. When Pike loves someone he loves hard, and his passion and devotion for Gigi is undeniable. I was touched when Gigi decided to accompany Pike on a trip to visit his family. Pike’s softer side emerged when he was reunited with his brother Austin, who he hadn’t seen in ten years. I felt the love he had for his brother, along with the regret that they had been apart for so long. Family is everything to the Gallo’s and now that Pike was one of them, Austin would be welcomed with open arms.
Burn picks up where flame left off and the action only ramps up from there. I absolutely love Pike and Gigi and the Gallo family. I’m excited for more.
