A classic fairy tale gets a sexy, edgy twist.Jackson “The Beast” Boudreaux is rich, gorgeous, and unbelievably rude to the staff at Chef Bianca Hardwick’s New Orleans restaurant. Bianca would sooner douse herself in hot sauce than cook for Jackson again, but when he asks her to cater his fund-raiser, Bianca can’t refuse, knowing the cash will help pay her mother’s medical bills. Then Jackson … Then Jackson makes another outrageous request: Marry me. The unconventional offer includes an enormous sum—money Bianca desperately needs, even if it does come with a contract—and a stunning ring.
The heir to a family bourbon dynasty, Jackson knows the rumors swirling around him. The truth is even darker. Still, he needs a wife to secure his inheritance, and free-spirited, sassy Bianca would play the part beautifully. Soon, though, their simple business deal evolves into an emotional intimacy he’s built walls to avoid.
As the passion heats up between them, Bianca and Jackson struggle to define which feelings are real and which are for show. Is falling for your fake fiancé the best happy ending…or a recipe for disaster?

This is my introduction to J.T. Geissinger books. I totally hooked. One of the things I love in her story is the witty bantering and her sense oh humor. The characters are amazing. You just fall in love with them. I certainly recommend this book to all romance readers.
I love this book and the characters. It was funny sad and sexy
This was a delicious Slow Burn!! I more than loved! Bianca and Jax have a wonderful hate/romance with so much sexual tension you will boil over! Both characters are wonderfully developed, the Brooding Beast and the Lovely Lady! There are some tear jerkers moments that will pull at your heartstrings! Definitely don’t pass up this wickedly delicious read!
Darn. I loved, loved, loved this book. I didn’t want it to end. She creates characters that are lovable and quirky. And so funny I had tears from laughing. Very few authors can write like this.
I absolutely loved this story
Emotionally, I was invested in these characters from the start, grinning, laughing, sometimes tearing up, then back all around again. Bianca is my idea of a perfect FMC: independent and sassy, talented and loving. I loved the way she stood up to both Jackson and her ex, and the way she was determined to take care of her mother. I loved Jackson, too; even at his most beastly, he was a dark, broody, and incredibly yummy MMC. The New Orleans setting added a lot to the story as well: I’ve never been, but this book made me want to move a NOLA visit higher up on my bucket list, and the recipes were a wonderful touch.
Hilarious and touching by turns, I absolutely loved this story. I did feel some of the “Southernisms” were a little over the top, especially at the beginning but it didn’t detract from the story for me.
The author seamlessly combines several of my favorite tropes (enemies to lovers, fake marriage, hot billionaire plus touches of Beauty and the Beast) into a story that’s going on my favorites list. 5+ stars and a highly recommend

Burn for You is one of those books that snuck under my radar for the longest time. It wasn’t until I saw all the excitement over the second book, Melt for You, that I decided I needed to check it out. I’m really glad I did, too. It was a wonderful book and it introduced me to another new to me author. I can’t wait to read more of J.T.’s books.
Bianca and Jax were absolutely amazing. Their chemistry was super hot and I loved the delicious slow burn that came with their story. Bianca was fun and sassy and driven. I adored her. She was a heroine after my own heart. Jax was the perfect grumpy hero. (I do love me some grouchy men.) The match between the sassy chef and the prickly business might seem a little strange on the surface, but it really worked. I loved the enemies to friends to lovers — with a fake relationship mixed in there, too — story. It was done so well and was so believable. I fell hard for both Jax and Bianca and had plenty of swoons and feels during this book.
The enemies to lovers (or “slap slap kiss”) trope is one of my favorites and it’s been awhile since I read one quite as good as this. Add to that some Beauty & the Beast vibes and that great slow burn and it was a total Kim book. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

“Just because trash can be recycled doesn’t mean you deserve another chance.”
“I think sometimes it’s easier for a man to be the worst version of himself than to let the world keep breaking his heart.”
“You don’t care about my money, and you’re kind, and responsible, and you’re not afraid to call me on my shit, and you’re so fucking beautiful it sometimes hurts to look at you, like I’m gazing into the sun and could go blind if I stare too long.”
“Because of all the marvelous and terrible things we can experience in this life, love is the only one that will last beyond it.”
I absolutely LOVED this story! The characters were flawed but great, the story line was good, dialog was hilarious and there were recipes! Awesome!
4.25 stars–BURN FOR YOU is the first installment in JT Geissinger’s contemporary, adult SLOW BURN erotic, romance series. This is heir to the Boudreaux Bourbon dynasty Jackson ‘The Beast’ Boudreaux, and New Orleans’ chef Bianca Hardwick’s story line. A number of the chapters begin with a series of Cajun/Creole recipes that look as yummy as our story line hero sounds.
Told from dual first person points of view (Bianca and Jackson) BURN FOR YOU follows the fake engagement between New Orleans’ chef Bianca Hardwick, and heir to the Kentucky Boudreaux Bourbon dynasty Jackson Boudreaux. Jackson is desperate: the caterer and chef he hired quit just two weeks before the fund raiser for the Wounded Warrior Project; and Jackson is about to loose access to billions of dollars unless he agrees to marry before he turns thirty-five. There is only one other option-an option Jackson refuses to acknowledge-fearing the demons from his past will continue to rear their guilt-ridden heads. Enter Bianca Hardwick, restaurant owner and chef, and the woman with whom Jackson will fall in love. What ensues is the fake but building relationship between Jackson and Bianca, and the fall out when Bianca is no longer in need of a million-dollar payout.
Bianca Hardwick works hard but her mother’s illness is costing our heroine thousands of dollars she does not have. Nearing the end of her available cash the surly but beautiful, Jackson Boudreaux makes Bianca an offer she cannot refuse-five years to play along and become Jackson’s wife in return for a one million dollar price.
The relationship between Jackson and Bianca begins acrimoniously. Jackson’s gruff exterior and lack of social manners pushes all of Bianca’s buttons and more. But Jackson hides a dark past of secrets and shame- secrets that once revealed will bring about forgiveness and acceptance from the people he cares about most. The $ex scenes are limited but intimate and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
We are introduced to Bianca’s employees including Pepper the hostess; sous chef Ambrosine aka Eeny; pastry chef Hoyt, Bianca’s ex-husband Trace; her ailing mother Davina Hardwick, and her mother’s ‘boyfriend’ aka the Colonel. Jackson’s circle of friends is limited to his assistant Rayford and little man Cody, but we will come face to face with his parents Brig and Clemmy Boudreaux.
BURN FOR YOU has moments of heartbreak and grief; truth and acceptance; falling in love and letting go of the past. The premise is engaging and encouraging; the characters are broken, colorful and intense; the romance is seductive and provocative. BURN FOR YOU looks at one man’s struggle with the past, and one woman’s battle for the future.
