A battle for control turns explosive as a beautiful con woman takes a bad-boy biker hostage in this edgy, seductive novel set in the world of Everything I Left Unsaid (“Toe-curlingly sensual.”—Katy Evans) and The Truth About Him (“Absolutely one-click worthy”—J. Kenner).
The only thing that matters to me is rescuing my sister from the drug-cooking cult that once enslaved us both. I’ve run cons … run cons my whole life, and I’ll use my body to get whatever I need. Max Daniels is the last connection I have to that world, the one person reckless enough to get involved. Besides, now that his brothers have turned on him, he needs me too.
The deal was supposed to be simple: a place to hide in exchange for rescuing my sister. Now he’s my prisoner. Totally at my mercy. But I’m the one captivated. Enthralled. Doing everything he asks of me until I’m not sure who’s in control.
We both crave the heat. The more it hurts, the better. But what if Max wants a different life now, to leave the game . . . to love me? I thought I knew better than to get burned. Now I’m in too deep to pull away. And the crazy thing is . . . I don’t want to.

This is one of my favorite all-time books. I love it so much.
Books come and books go, but every so often I am fortunate enough to read one that stays with me. Burn Down the Night by Molly O’Keefe is one of those books. It’s not a pretty story. It doesn’t come wrapped in a pleasant package. It’s hard and gritty and raw and full of emotion. I haven’t read a lot of motorcycle club romances and they’re not generally my first pick. With this story, it didn’t matter. I loved it. Ms. O’Keefe held me captive from the first, exciting page with her tight narrative and provocative dialogue. Heroes Max and Joan/Olivia are real and incredibly flawed, probably more flawed than most. This author doesn’t just do damaged heroes. She opens them up and puts your hand in their bleeding wounds. Although I probably could never exist in Joan’s world, I certainly empathized with her and wanted her and Max to make good. These are characters who make you hope for redemption. I’m still sighing after turning the final page and can’t wait to delve into another Molly O’Keefe romance soon.
LOVED this!!
Why, Ms. O’Keefe…what a naughty, filthy mind you have. And I’d like to take a moment and thank you for it. THANK YOU for all the deliciousness in this book!
Bearded and tattooed and huge and the president of an MC, Max is visually perfect, a sexy beast of a man. And guess what? He has a huge heart inside that big, beautiful chest of his.
Joan is quite an enigma. We met her in Everything I Left Unsaid and The Truth About Him and I just couldn’t figure her out – but I really wanted to. At the end of The Truth About Him, we were left with a huuuuge WTF involving Joan and Max, and I couldn’t wait to dive into Burn Down the Night. Because not only was Joan mysterious and intriguing, I needed to know more about Max, too.
Max and Joan have a strange yet fiery connection. When they met…pure electric. They’re both strong-willed, they’re both very stubborn, and both have secrets galore. And masks…they each wear masks to cover up and hide their real selves. And watching those masks slowly slip away, watching as they chip away each other’s disguises to get to the REAL person underneath was entertaining and so very satisfying.
This book begins where The Truth About Him left off. I don’t think you’d have to read the first two books before this one (Everything I Left Unsaid and The Truth About Him), but I strongly feel this story would be that much richer and enjoyable if you did.
This was a suspenseful and intense story, beautifully and perfectly told, all the while an intoxicating and complicated love story slowly burned throughout. Never a dull moment – I loved it!
I listened to the audiobook and both narrators were perfect!!
Hello hot stuff! i definitely wasn’t expecting all the naughty honeymoon fun! Burn Down the Night is a whirlwind of action, drama, and lust. There might be some accidental “L-O-V-E” but we don’t want to scare the two commitment phobes into self sabotage…or at least more self sabotage.
Burn Down the Night is about family, revenge, and unconditional love. It’s full of extremes. watch your back bikers, crazy strippers, and FEDs are lurking everywhere!
Max and Joan’s story was so well written with enough twists and turns to keep you interested. After reading the first two books in the series, Joan was an interesting character, with her lies and cons and sticking up for women, you wanted her story. She was good-hearted with a steel armor. Max was the president of an MC who turned against him. You could tell deep down both characters just wanted to be loved and accepted and when they opened up they found it. The book had lots of hot scenes in it and a super sweet happy ever after.
