Book 2: Forgotten
Book 3: Exposed
Reviews:
“CJ Carmichael is a seasoned author… and this shows in Buried. She has written a fluid, easy to fall into mystery and I’m really hoping there will be more books in this series. The first installment in the Twisted Cedar Mysteries was a great read and I can’t wait for more.“ – Cozy Reader
“One of my favorite elements of Carmichael’s books is her gripping portrayal of family dynamics.” Kathy Altman, USA Today

A good story that moves forward well but you need all three books to get to the end. Unfortunately, the author uses awkward retellings of all parts of the story that she doesn’t need to use, because she feels that the reader needs to be caught up on some part of the action from one of the earlier books. All of this information could have been put into dialog or simply left out and that is the worst part of these books, and that’s not very bad.
The stories are romantic, suspenseful, but most of all they delicately explore what family and love really means. Women and men are treated respectfully, and it flows so naturally that’s not until after the fact that you realize but this is a completely generous book. The plot is twisty and it’s hard to figure out what the next big thing is going to be and that makes it lots of fun
Story is entertaining, engaging, and overall well done and good. The three together are good story and a great light read, and I recommend them.
Really interesting – held my attention easily all the way through.
Characters were realistically weird.
It is hard for me to select a book by an unknown author, but I lucked out when I
chose this book. I could not put it down. It kept me from doing my housework until I finished!
really well developed timeline and characters.
I found the various characters — many of them — all possible suspects. I kept thinking, wondering, waiting for more data. Well Done!
Didn’t see the ending coming!
It was well written and held my interest to the very end. Looking forward to the other books in the series.

It was all right. A mystery that was intriguing.
OMG, this book was amazing. I honestly downloaded it so I could read a page here and there to help relax me going to sleep. However, I got into it and couldn’t put it down. This is major for me because I haven’t found a big in close to 20 years I’ve wanted to read! Loved it, and starting the next one.
its amazing
OK…but not of stand alone quality like others. (e.g. Agent Pendergast series or Cotton Malone series) Deciding whether to get the rest of the series.
Enjoyed this read.
Liked the characters so well that I went out and bought the next book in the series.
Loved this series of books.
I liked the plot, but it didn’t really get wrapped up in one book.
