A fun read. Especially being laid low by a virus. I didn’t have to think too hard to keep up with the plot but it wasn’t so easy as to be dull. The characters were engaging and likable. Even one of the villains.
I don’t think I would read anything else by this author. The premise of the story was good, but I got irritated with all the lists and I question the baby hitting those milestones so early.
I just love the main character Kate, she is constantly making To Do lists and most of the time their there everyday. Looking forward to the second book.
Enjoyable start to series. Hopefully PI Kate will have many more mysteries to solve! A+
I thought is was really well done. Fun and enchanting. Though I am from Canada there’s just something I love about southern ladies, and this hit nail on the head. It left me wanting more, thank gawd this only the first book of a series!
This was an enjoyable read.
fun read
Good story and Realistic in that many new Moms have second and third thoughts about returning to work after the birth of their first child. Good luck to her.
Pretty good
Just as she is going into labor, Kate Connolly learns her brother-in-law, George, is missing and may be a murder victim. While trying to juggle becoming a mother, Kate also tries to learn what is really going on with George. I found the scenes between mother and baby heart warming and the plot intriguing. I didn’t want to put it down, and can’t …
Dim witted character. I like a book that can make you laugh at times but this was just dumb.
A bit of humor, odd story line.
Young adults might like it more than I did. It was ok.
A funny mystery, and as a mother I can think of the same things happen to me.
When I downloaded this book to my Kindle, I didn’t realize I had read it before. After the first few pages I remembered it, but I also remembered it was a good story, so I read it again and enjoyed it just as much as I had the first time. I love humorous cozy mysteries and this one truly fit the bill. Will be reading more of Diana Orgain’s books. …
Cute concept
Easy read, it got boring some times
This was a light read that is entertaining.
Nice read
Totally fun read!
