Fresh start
I love a nerd/jock dynamic; Caleb and Nathan are wonderful. They have a history fraught with good and bad memories, and although I was frustrated at times, watching them work their way through their pasts gave me hope and peace. “I’ll always choose you.” Caleb is scared but wants to find love and Nathan wants to embrace his future. Seeing Nathan become his own person and Caleb letting go was uplifting but watching them fall for each other was everything. They choose each other and that is the ultimate gift. A heartwarming second-chance love that brought a smile to my face.
BULLY & EXIT is the first book in “The Midwest Series”.
This second chance M/M romance is told in third person, is not overly detailed and is paced well. There is emotion, passion, friendships and finding one’s authentic self.
I absolutely recommend this book and this author.

I loved Bully & Exit. I really love Enemies to Lovers and this was no exception. Nathan and Caleb are so sweet, I loved their backstory and enjoyed reading about it as the present story was told. I also like that it was from both perspectives. I’ve read the Midwest Series and I like this as the start. I liked how hot, sexy, sweet and cute this story was and totally recommend it.
Sometimes, you have to firmly put your baggage down. Nathan, deep in the closet but peeking out. Caleb, out proud and bi with major trust/commitment issues because of the trauma he experienced senior year in high school with Nathan. Caleb, successfully avoided Nathan until the last month before graduation. Nathan, having grown up, done a self-assessment is ready to make amends. Will Caleb give Nathan a chance? Can Caleb forgive Nathan? How hard will Nathan seek forgiveness, or will he give up? Excellent story. We find out the ‘why’ for many acitons in teh past. good read. Both Caleb and Nathan’s behaviors in high school and college are equally understandable. I like Caleb a little less than Nathan. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nice cover art.
