While Dawn Luke travels to her hometown of Arkansas to tend to her sick mother, London Carter is called upon to investigate the murder of a young teenager whose body is found stuffed under the exit ramp of an overpass. It was apparent to London that the murderer wanted to make sure the kid was dead, but the motive for the killing was far from obvious.Summoning the assistance of Detective Rachael … Detective Rachael Bowler, the two are finally able to locate the actual crime scene and that leads them to the identity of their young victim. But instead of providing answers, the identification leads to more questions. Could a secret involving the young man lead them to the killer, or will it only muddy the waters and interfere with their investigation?
Whatever the case, this is one killer no one should take for granted–not even a cop as skilled and gritty as London Carter.

it was a silly book about a sniper team in a little Louisiana community trying to solve a murder… sniper every other word just bad
Great read
I thought it reasonably ionteresting
The writing was dry, boring. I did not finish the book.
I rarely write reviews, but this definitely merits one… EXCELLENT read- I highly recommend!
It was different with unexpected twist at the ending. Will look for more by this author.
Very good read. Hard to put down.
a good read on cop detective drama. The end was a surprise.
It kept me guessing until the end as to who the killer was. Easy to read
Enjoyed
The plot was ok, nothing remarkable but one I hadn’t expected. The writing style for me was rather sophomoric. Just too many examples of superfluous descriptors. I did like the way the characters were portrayed and developed. Not sure I would recommend this novel. I read to end primarily because it was free download.
He has become one of my favorite authors
Too wordy,
Good story, good characters, but the whole thing could have been fleshed out a little more, and the main character is going to hurt himself from continually patting himself on the back for how smart he is.
Original plot with plenty of action with a hint of romance. GREAT book!
I’d give this trash a 0 rating if there were that option. Ridiculous plot, gratuitous violence, cardboard characters.
one major flaw and a secondary flaw, the secondary flaw had me thinking that to improve the gene pool the hero should fall eighty feet because he ignored all sorts of safety procedures. The major logic flaw was highlighted by the title, “Bullet Drop.” In the book’s universe only trained snipers know the importance of gravity’s effect on bullets. The author has the main villain, a trained close combat shooter, appear to be clueless on the effect of gravity on a bullet’s trajectory. The villain misses his shot because he does not adjust his aim for the distance to his target from where he hides. He gets his windage spot on, though.
The secondary flaw is when the hero, who is a policeman, goes to get a piece of evidence stuck on a ledge eighty feet in the air. Of course the ledge breaks loose and only by getting a grip with one hand does he arrest his fall. A fellow police officer grabs a safety harness and climbing rope from his car to save the hero. Before the officer can get to the hero he self rescues. So police carry around rescue gear but the hero does not bother to use it. That’s when I thought the hero was should think about removing himself from the gene pool. Why didn’t the hero get his own equipment or borrow someone else’s before doing a dumb but possibly deadly stunt.
Kept my interest as plot played out.
I read this series in order, and this one is particularly interesting because of the title involved element in the mystery. I like the characters and how they develop book to book, but it would still be a good stand alone.
I thought the plot reasonable and the story line flowed easily. Characters were believable
