Jade creates an engrossing group of young and very mortal friends, bandmates, town kids, ambition and drama. Very engrossing and gritty, the beginning of an intense and emotional series, with plenty of happiness and excellence al9ng the way to keep you engrossed and rooting for the underdogs! Passion, pain, pleasure and a promise if more books to come. Truly one if my very favorite authors!
The journey that Val goes through is so intense. She has a hard , extreme, and emotional road, yet it all makes for an entertaining read. I thought I was going to hate the ending based on the “future” chapters. However, then ending twist changed my mind and ended up making me absolutely loving this book.
Likable characters and easy entertaining read.
Fabulous book can’t wait to read the follow on
Not your average love story or happily ever after!! Really emotional!! Very well written and excellent character building!!
Best book I have read in a long time. Very informational and heart wrenching.
Bullet – Book 1
I’m really torn at writing this review. While there are parts of the book I really enjoyed – there were more parts that I didn’t like.
I am not a fan of cheating, but it happens, its life. However, the amount of cheating that Ethan does on Val – I was over and done and with it. Like Val should have been! I get that she is naïve, but come on, a person can only take so much. I was ready to crawl into this story and start slapping her and Ethan both upside the head. I get that she is in love with him and wants to save him…. but can he be saved? How can he love her back, when he doesn’t even love himself?
Ethan – holy cow you need some serious help. For someone, who doesn’t want to turn out like his dad and be abusive…. man, that apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.
Fully Automatic – the band members ROCK! I am not sure how they put up with Ethan’s crap as well. I liked reading about them getting started and how driven they all are. Brad…boy I sure do like you! You have your hands full between your job, the band, and all the drama that comes with Ethan!
Going to continue with book two, because I need to see where Ethan, Val and Fully Automatic end up
Bullet – Book 2
I am so glad that I continued with part two. This book was exactly what I was hoping for!
The highs and lows of being a Rockstar are fully present in this book and Ethan is living through them all. Ethan – man do you need to get some serious help and to get your life back on track. Val has done everything she can to help you – its time to let others try.
Enter Clay/Jet and holy cow. I did see this twist slightly in book one, but dang how do I love that character. Soft and sweet, but also rough and tough. Depends on who you want…. Clay or Jet. By the end of this part of the book I was bawling! BAWLING! Have tissues at the ready.
Brad you are the true definition of a patient man! Always there to help everyone around you. Even though you have loved Val since the first day you met her – you have let her make her own choices and loved her from afar. Crushing…that just has to be crushing!
Val – girl I am so happy that by the end of this book you have finally pulled your head out of the sand! You and you alone cannot save Ethan. It was time to save yourself! So happy with how this story ended!!
Lots of cheating
I couldn’t get past the first chapter. Deleted it from my reader.
I thought the writing was geared towards teens! Very immature characters.
