Welcome to the small town of Medicine Wheel, Montana. She only wanted to let go.Sadie Davenport’s one true love was sugar and spice.Years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice earned her the recognition she craved. But when her beloved grandmother needed her to come home, Sadie made a choice to honor family over fortune.Closing up shop and moving to the small town of Medicine Wheel became easier … moving to the small town of Medicine Wheel became easier as the right ingredients fell into place: more time with her family’s matriarch and the perfect location for her new bakery.
Running into Liam, a former one night stand, wasn’t part of the recipe, but it certainly sweetened the deal.
He only wanted to give in.
Liam Larsen had his family, his friends, and his failing lumber yard- and no room for anything else.
Until the woman he’d tried so hard to forget breezes into town and becomes impossible to avoid.
Sadie was the type of woman who deserved everything good that the world had to offer.
But Liam was in no position to give it to her.
Could two people, who seemed to have nothing in common, lay the foundation for their wildest dreams?
Or would those dreams crumble before the first brick was laid?

I don’t know how BJ Bentley does it every time but she puts you right into a small-town love story. One that warms your heart and your soul. A Hallmark series worthy story, for sure. Well, some parts are a little steamier then Hallmark, but you get it. And of course, Building Dreams, Medicine Wheel, #3, by BJ Bentley is just that. It the perfect third puzzle piece to Medicine Wheel series.
Liam Larsen is a southern gentleman for sure. His determination, his love, his respect, and his southern mannerisms will make you melt. Sadie is a strong, independent and intelligent woman but not the snarky type. Which I enjoyed. The connection between these two is spot on. I giggled during their second encounter. Who would have thought, lol! And she pushed her shoulders back and gave him a what-for in that scene. She fits right in with the women of Medicine Wheel.
The secondary characters in this book are amazing. Gigi is priceless. Breaks my heart knowing she has dementia (assuming that is what she has since I don’t remember reading exactly what it is). She is a hoot! I would love to read about one of her “pig roasts”. Then there is “Honey Buns” Tony. He is just awesome! I love the spunk he brings to the story.
The Medicine Wheel series is hometown love. It’s one of those country love songs that you listen to over and over. That screensaver picture of that dirt road with the tree branch barb wire fence with the farmhouse in the distance. You will fall in love with the whole family, heck the whole town. It is not all sweet and lovey-dovey. Some scenes will have you in tears others will have you laughing. It will have you wanting to find this place and move there.
I absolutely loved Liam and Sadie. And all the other characters in this book. It was cute, funny and touched on some real life relationship problems. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I sincerely loved this book. The writing is so wonderfully put together that by the time I was on the last page I was sad to see it end. Just a truly lovely book by an amazing Author! Pick it up!
This series is undoubtedly one of my favourites. And this is the perfect addition to The Medicine Wheel Series that not only reminded me all over why I adore BJ Bentleys amazing words!
Liam is the ultimate mountain man with the personality to match, not only is he rough and rugged but he’s also broody and a man of very few words. He allows himself one night of totally unbridled passion that lasts him long through the lonely nights he spends working to make his family business better.
Sadie loves her little bakery she’s spent years building it’s her dream but she loves her grandmother Gigi more and when her health takes a turn for the worse Sadie doesn’t think twice about relocating her little bakery to take care and spend time with the only family who’s ever cared for her. Only problem is she quickly realised that her one and only one night stand happens to live in the same every small town she’s now planning to spend her life in, he shouldn’t affect her but she hasn’t been able to get him out her head or her heart but she doesn’t have time for that right now she has other priorities in life but only problem is when Liam starts making her a priority in his life she can’t help but want to give in to her desires she only hopes it will all be worth it!
A sweet flirty read that I couldn’t put down not only were Liam and Sadie perfect characters but Gigi really steals the show at tones with her outrageous personality how could she not! This book has only raised my expectations for the rest of the series I really can’t wait to see where BJ Bentley take us next!
So much passion packed into one little novella. As with the rest of the Medicine Wheel crew, I fell in love with Sadie and Liam. I was hooked from page one! The story is wonderfully written and the characters are flawed and relatable. Another five star on the books for BJ! Can’t wait for what comes next!
I Love small town romances. And Sadie and Liam’s book was just what I needed.
Sadie is new in Medicine Wheel because her grandmother needed her. What she didn’t count on, was to meet a one night stand she couldn’t forget.
Liam only had time for his failing Lumber Yard and his family. But his attraction to the sexy baker and he’s been thinking of her since their one night stand.
Love it. Even though Liam was a little rude to Sadie when they met again. But he redeemed himself.
This is a sexy story with great side characters and loved reading of the previous couple of Medicine Wheel.
Can’t wait for more..Gwen maybe??
STARS!!
Gah! I just loved this addition to the Medicine Wheel series. I have fallen in love with this little town and it’s residents and was thrilled to get my hands on Liam and Sadie’s story. I read it in one sitting. There are a lot of characters that I’d love to know more about (I’m really hoping that we get an MM story!) I’m definitely hooked and can’t wait to see what comes next. I highly recommend this series to all small-town romance fans!
I love the people of Medicine Wheel and this is a great addition to the series. Liam and Sadie are great characters, well written, and loyal to family and friends. All the couples in Medicine Wheel you want to be friends with. Liam wants to keep the “relationship” casual and Sadie wants more. I love women who know their own mind and aren’t ready to settle. for anything less than they deserve. The book is well paced and a page turner form beginning to end.
****Received an ARC and this is my honest review****
Another great small town book in this series with all the feels! This is a sweet story that will have you giggling, grinning and swooning. If you love small town books with close family and of course normal life struggles then this book is a must read!
The third standalone book in the Medicine Wheel series, this story focuses on Liam, Noah’s best friend (Noah was featured in Book One, Coming Home) and Sadie, his little dancer. This story is a bit shorter than the first two, but it’s still packed full of heart and heart. Love, family, and friends dominate, with a fun secondary character (more Tony, please) and even a bit of mystery to solve. I really loved the treats featured in Devour, and the gorgeous baker who went after what she wanted, namely a sexy, growly Liam. This story sure was busy (in a good way) and the writing was smooth, evenly-paced, and flowed nicely. A pleasure to read from start to finish.
I received a copy of this book. My honest review is voluntarily provided.
4*
Sadie has moved back to town to be closer to her grandmother Gigi, as her memory has started fading.
She’s looking to relocate her bakery business and is surprised to run into Liam, the two had a wonderful one time only night.
They both come to a mutual agreement but will it be enough?
I enjoyed reading the story and liked how Sadie won’t be walked all over and called Liam out a few times. I also liked how the Alpha in Liam reared it’s head two strong characters.
I’m also hoping Tony gets his own book a M/M story with the personality he has and his way with words he’s certainly someone we need to meet more of please?
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Liam and Sadie’s story, Building Dreams, is a nice addition to the series. This book is about overcoming what has molded them into who they are today to become what they are meant to be. I admit I had some questions when I finished the book but that is just me. The book is a sweet romance that will make you smile. Read to find out what it will take to make Liam finally accept his feelings for Sadie or if he will let her walk away.
It is so great to be back in Medicine Wheel, Montana where the small-town feel is alive and well. Building Dreams is Liam and Sadie’s story. These two meet and had a wonderful night together in Bozeman, but agreed it was to be only for one night. So it was a surprise to them both when two months later they are face to face again in small town Medicine Wheel. Sadie was all for rekindling their attraction, but Liam was in a different mindset. The chemistry is definitely still there but he truly believes he is not good for her and cannot give her what she deserves. Unfortunately, he came across as a real jerk, but what was awesome was how Sadie called him out on it. When Liam finally relents and give in to their attraction, we definitely see his alpha side. And when Sadie needed him the most, he was right there next to her.
The road to their HEA was a bit bumpy, but once all obstacles were out of their way, it was so great to see them so happy together. All in all, I enjoyed their story.
So what do you do when a blast from the not-too-distant past moves to your town? Especially when you’re dealing with work stress and a certainty that you’re not looking for anything with someone new? Well, if you’re Liam, you’re kind of a jerk to that person, even if you crave everything from said person’s coffee to baked goods to her body. But if you’re Sadie, you don’t just let that slide. Oh, no. Sadie tries to be nice and friendly, but she sure doesn’t let Liam walk all over her. I love Sadie for not being a doormat and for confronting Liam to find out what his problem is. Once Sadie does that, she and Liam have to face their attraction and the possibility that maybe, just maybe, they’re meant to have more in life than casual and uncertain. The road from casual to forever is a slightly bumpy one, but it’s definitely worth the trip with Sadie and Liam!
