Sadie Becker is not herself. A 40-year-old, divorced mother of two, Sadie wakes up one morning and realizes that she looks and feels like she did in her twenties. Suddenly she’s unable to walk around in her new town of Cougarville without men falling at her feet. Confused and alone, Sadie isn’t sure who to turn to…except answers to her problems might reside with her broodingly handsome … reclusive neighbor, Mathis.
An alpha shifter, Mathis lost the love of his life, and he knows he’ll never find another mate. But his innocent new neighbor clearly doesn’t know the danger she’s in, and he’s the only one who can save her.
But when the attraction pulls too strong, will Mathis’ animal nature be unleashed and claim Sadie for his own? Evangeline Anderson’s Buck Naked is a sexy, emotional thrill-ride that will hook readers on this fantastic new series.

I might have to move to Cougarville
What I wouldn’t do to go through the rejuvenation. How exciting to think about rolling the clock back 20 years, especially if there was a neighbor like Mathis or even Keller there to help me through it. I love that Sadie and Mathis are able to find love again even when the road is bumpy. It’s a shame no one realized Sadie was ignorant of shifters when she moved. But it all made the HEA that much sweeter. I can’t wait to see what happens next in Cougarville!
This is the beginning of a brand new series by this author and I can’t wait for the next one. I’m a fan of Shifter and other paranormal novels and this one is a winner.
Sadie is new to town and weird things start happening to her, her body is growing younger and the townsfolk are acting strangely around her. Her neighbour Mathis tries to avoid her but the connection is growing. Once she finds out the truth, things start heating up for her and her sexy neighbour. Her sister comes to town and I’m hoping hers is the next tale.
The shifters in this series are a little different to the norm making for some eye opening revelations.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.
goo book
So Evangeline Anderson definitely has a “style” but I can dig it. But ignore all that, folks. Giant elk shifter from the paleolithic area? That is bucket list stuff of dreams!
This was a decent read. The beginning dragged on a bit but picked up as Sadie (our Heroine) finally understood the whole shifter secret that was going on. Mathis (our Hero) was beautiful and adorable and he made up for any imperfections in the story line. And believe me, the story line was a doozy.
None the less – fated mates and all that jazz? Bring it on.
What a great start for a new series. I really enjoyed this book but I also like it because we usually always get a young heroine but this time around we got a older heroine in her 40. I really like the idea of the heroine Sadie being of a particular age she divorce with grown kids away at college made her seem more relatable to older reader. Plus I’m a total sucker for second chances at love story. Also this wasn’t your typical PNR it had a unique twist which made for a very interesting and entertaining read. I’m definitely looking forward to reading book 2 in the series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC I haven’t been compensated in any way.
A true treat to read. Great character building. Fast paced and original idea.
A great shifter book. Lots of misunderstandings until Sadie learns about her other nature. Drama, romance, and double trouble when her twin sister shows up. This book is also a good length at 228 pages.
While the plot mechanism for how the women became shifters is interesting I felt the writing left a lot to be desired and everything wasn’t fully fleshed out. Also the aggressive actions of the males in the book because of the Rejuvenation was triggering for a assault survivor. I felt like that should have had more of a warning.
Loved It
This is a different kind of world from this author and she did a great job keeping it fun and light as well as entertaining.
