Action-packed with a proper amount of suspense and intrigue, and the chemistry between Bryce and Emma is plenty hot, but also lands Bryce in a conundrum since he was all about the job, not developing feelings for the daughter of the gang leader whose gang Bryce is trying to gain acceptance into.
This is an intriguing story. It had me from the first page and just kept getting better. It has mystery, drama, romance, suspense and more. Bryce and Emma have so much chemistry and are drawn to each other, yet life keeps getting in the way. The characters are well developed and oh so likable. The plot is so tense and has so many twists, I couldn’t put it down. I really enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to reading the next Indie book.
A wonderfully well written and intriguing intense captivating romantic suspense novel with lots of intrigue, betrayal, lies, steam and love. Third in the series but read as a standalone with interesting and engaging characters. Bryce is the son of the head of a criminal syndicate. Emma and he has a fling a couple years ago and were reunited. I was addicted from page one till the end with all the twists and turns in this amazing story.

A well written, developed, and compelling. Definitely had me wanting to read page after page and not put down till it was finished.

This is book 3 of the Indie Rebels series by Miranda Charles and what a well written, suspenseful story with twists, turns, lies, betrayal, love and can’t put down!! With each new book we get to hear from others in the prior books too.
Bryce and Emma come from crime boss families, he wants out of the syndicate and she was estranged from her family when these two meet, sparks fly, lies are told and secrets are kept but can they both get out and lead a normal life or will they both be pulled back in the fold of crime, drugs and evil??
Loved the book, always enjoy books by this author. This is a voluntary review and I do not get paid for this review.

I don’t know haw Miranda does it – always writing fantastic stories. This series is amazing and I can’t get enough of these Indie Rebels! Bryce and Emma have a somewhat history. Now 2 years later, his assignment as an Indie Rebel is to get close to the crime leader’s daughter who just happens to be Emma. With the secrets, twists, turns and chemistry can Bryce and Emma trust each other and have a chance at love??? Miranda is a must read author for me!!! Don’t miss out on this standalone book series!
Imagine you go on vacation, meet a HOT guy that you spend time, there is incredible chemistry between you, and then on the last night of your vacation you have a night to remember. Fast forward a couple years and you run into this guy. Will they be able to pick up where they left off? And is there more to the chance meeting than Emma knows?
In Bryce’s working for on assignment for the Indie Rebels, he needs to infiltrate a crime syndicate and part of that involves spending time with Emma. But is Emma aware of her father’s position? And what about her cousin Sharryn?
The chemistry between Emma and Bryce was undeniable. There was also mysteries and twists in this story. Loved how the ending of the story tied back to the beginning. I look forward to reading Kallan’s story.
Now that Bryce is free from his criminal family and involved with the Indie Rebels, he’s trying his best to prove himself to them. So when his newest assignment is to “infiltrate the Fixers so they could stop Jester and Addison from destroying the Indie Rebels.” he’s not all that thrilled that Emma, the woman he had a fling with two years ago, is part of the criminal underground he’s trying to take down. But wait, he can get close to her using their previous fling, and it will help him in his assignment. If he could just remember she’s the daughter of a man he and the Rebels despise, he’ll be fine. Right?
I really liked the previous book in this series, Jaxon: The Assignment, which was Bryce’s brother’s story, and Bryce and Emma’s story is just as good. It interweaves the mystery with the romance seamlessly and Emma and Bryce are great together. Definitely looking forward to the next one in this series.
This was a good book and a great addition to the series. It was a steamy well read with a good plot and good likable characters. It can be read on its own but it is so much better if you have read the previous books first. I really enjoyed Bryce and Emma’s story and enjoyed getting to know them. A super read.
Really good book. Bryce and Emma had great chemistry. Similar childhoods make for a strong bond plus reuniting after a couple of years. This is a page turner. Plenty of action and just the right amount of heat.

Loving the suspense and sexiness that the Indie Rebels deliver. Bryce has finally broken free from his crime family which gives him the chance to help the Indie Rebels. His assignment surprises him when Emma, a woman he met a few years ago, and had an amazing encounter with, ends up being connected to his family’s competition and part of his next assignment. Emma’s world has gone through many changes in a short amount of time so reconnecting with her father and his relatives is a welcome adventure. When she sees Bryce in Sydney, she is surprised but delighted. As Bryce works to get closer to Emma’s family to unravel a mystery for the Indie Rebels, he also gets to spend more time with Emma. The challenge is keeping the fact that her father is a crime boss and that he works with the Indie Rebels a secret. There are a lot of great twists and turns to this journey. I loved that Emma is focused on her career as a chef and isn’t a pushover whenever her father wants something. She even gave Bryce a run for his money with her stubborn streak, which kept him on his toes. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
2 years ago, when Bryce met Emma, he didn’t know who she is, just that they shared a bond. But living in different cities made being together difficult.
Now as an Indie Rebel in order to infiltrate a gang he has to pursue a relationship with the gang leaders daughter, Emma. What will happen when he starts falling for her again.
This was a great read with steamy romance and some intriguing twists and turns. The story flowed so well that I had a hard time putting it down. And now I can’t wait for Kallan’s story.
Bryce is disturbed to realise that the young woman he had been attracted to two years previously and that he is now being asked to get close to, is the daughter of a crime lord. Just her surname is repellent to him but as he re-connects with her, he discovers that she is unaware of her father’s underworld life and a strong urge to protect her from being drawn into that world may jeopardise his mission. If the mission is successful, will Emma forgive him his lies and his take down of her family? Bryce and Emma’s hearts are at risk, will Love conquer all? Spoiler alert, there is a happy ending. One in a series but can be read as a standalone.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
How does a work in progress see it’s way clear to becoming a finished project? With a ton of effort, an abundance of heart and a clear head, anything can be accomplished. Charles is always so quick at putting the mystery front and center, that we almost forget that there’s more to be offered. Behind the action lies gritty emotion. Bryce and Emma risk not just their lives, but their hearts are fair game as well. Beyond the danger and suspense is a message of hope that drives us to keep trying to beat the odds.
