more
Bryce heads for Quag after he is banished from Anarock. Alexa isn’t happy that she wasn’t Victor’s wife so she leaves to go to Quag also. Not too far in their travels Bryce and Alexa meet up and decide to go along together. Bryce has always wanted Alexa but she couldn’t see anyone but Victor. During their journey they experience many things together will this help Alexa see Bryce as more than a friend? Can she see that he is perfect for her?
This is a great installment to this series. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens next. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
I just had a total binge-fest (yes, including an all-nighter; my sweetie is very annoyed with me) reading Victor, Bryce and Elliot, the first three books of Romi Hart’s Anarock Shifters series. I’ve read (lots and lots of) romances by this author which I’ve always enjoyed. It was great seeing her expand into the paranormal, and even better that these books featured dragon shifters, a particular favorite of mine. Gotta day that she did a fantastic job with the world-building and paranormal aspects. Added to her usual top-notch job in plotting and writing, and the fabulous cast she inhabited her stories with and the end result is three clear winners, each of which I’m happy to recommend.
Here is the 2nd in the Anariock series from the talented Romi Hart,,,,,
Bryce Griffin, a dragon shifter, has been banished from the Quag after he had challenged his brother, Victor (see book 1 in the series called °Victor”) for his standing in the Prometheus Crest Ascension order during a battle that leads to Victor into banishing Bryce from the clan by order of Cameron, their father, instead of killing him as usually happens,,, so now he’s on his own,,,,, until,,,,,
Alexa Weeks also a dragon shifter is miserable and alone as she has left her home where she use to think she was going to be a wife to someone she thought loved her also,,,, but now that Victor has married Riley Strickland she has left,,,, she doesn’t want to watch the ceremony of be part of any,,,, especially her ex ,,,,, but now her and Bryce are challenged against the Omega Battalion,,,,, now what’s going to happen when they find out about their feelings for each other ,,,,, everything is going to change,,,, or is it,,,,???
This was another great book in the Anarock Shifter’s series and I would definitely recommend this book to be read right after the 1st ,,, although, it could be read as a standalone,,,,, but seriously,,,, it’s totally better AFTER you’ve read Victor ,,,,, I have gotten this ARC voluntarily to leave an honest review
Catnip to lovers of steamy paranormal; Unique story
The overriding message here is that you don’t know what you had until you don’t have it anymore. After Bryce was banished from Anarock (read VICTOR), he sets off for the Quag, thinking that would be his only safe place. At the same time Alexa is so angry that Victor chose Riley over her for his spouse that she decides to chuck it all and leave Ogru-Kuche. She too heads for the Quag. Bryce and Alexa meet up and decide to travel together. Bryce has loved Alexa for a long time but she loved Victor. Will their travelling together change that? Their relationship is tolerated until they encounter the Omega Battalion, a weird and often grotesque group of paranormal beings led by a mad man out to enslave the world. Then Bryce and Alexa must work together and in so doing find something else.
So far, each story is a standalone for the couple involved but each book builds on the overarching storyline. This book had more angst and tribulation than VICTOR but it was due to the circumstances in this book rather than the clash of personalities in the other. This was truly a page-turner with a surprise ending. I am now reading Elliot to see where this one goes. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and recommend it for PNR lovers. Love the cover!
The second book in the Anarock Shifters series brings Bryce and Alexa’s story. The author once again delivers an action packed story filled with suspense, danger, twists and turns as well as the sizzling passion and love. It’s an adventurous story brought to life with detailed and vividly paints scenes. I was hooked from start to finish reading and would recommend this book / series.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Bryce is banished from his home after challenging Victor as the leader instead of killing him. Alexa leaves after seeing Victor marry. She runs into Bryce and there is something about him that draws her to him but before they can really get to know each other a threat arises that have Bryce taking on the Omega Battalion to keep the Crest safe. Will they succeed in defending the Crest. This action packed story will have you turning the pages until the very end.
I am not really into the shifter stories, but I was curious enough to read this one because I can always on Romi Hart for a good story. She delivered an entertaining, mind blowing story that I am certain not to forget. I honestly volunteered to review this arc.
An all new threat
Bryce (Anarock Shifters Book 2) by Romi Hart is the next exciting installment of this Dragon shifter series. Bryce finds himself and Alexa in a very unfortunate predicament with a very tyrannical leader that has devastating plans for their home.
This book is just as steamy as the first, however, Bryce’s story is more about the twist on this series’ plot. Not only do all New Breed have to worry about the military, but this new threat of the Omega Battalion. The twists and turns will keep you glued to your seat and turning pages.
Overall, an intriguing book that has my interest completely gripped and ready for book 3.
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
Bryce did the unthinkable he challenged his brother Victor to alpha of the Prometheus Crest Victor defeated him but instead of killing him he only banished him. Meanwhile Alexa Victor’s former is heart broken after he marries Riley and she decides to leave Anarock When these two meet the sparks fly can the form a relationship are they destined to be together and what happens when they hear of an plan to attack Anarock Can these two castaways actually save their former homeland.
This is the second book in the Anarock Shifters series. Bryce was exiled by his brother Victor. Alexa left Anarock because she could not stand to see Victor with his mate. Bryce and Alexa come across new enemies who want to destroy Anarock. They have amazing chemistry and the storyline was great to read. I voluntarily. reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
LOVE IS WHERE IT IS, NOT WHERE YOU THINK IT IS
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.
Bryce is Victor’s younger brother who challenges Victor for his standing in the Prometheus Crest’s ascension order during a battle that leads Victor to become the Crest’s leader. Victor banishes Bryce, instead of killing him as his father made him promise. Bryce realizes his mistake and with Victor’s former lover, who runs away after Victor’s wedding to Riley, finds himself in a predicament that leads him to saving the Crest and the people of Anarock, their home base. Although he is still banished, as Victor does not know what is truly going on, other than hearsay from Riley and his youngest brother, Malachai, Bryce decides to help save the Prometheus Crest in his own way with Alexa by his side. This story seems to have an open ending.

This is Bryce and Alexa’s story. As good as the first and full of action. Really enjoyed it.
Becoming a quick favorite
Alexa, a dragon mutant, runs into Bryce, another dragon mutant and recent outcast, in the Quag after the new leaders of the Crest’s wedding. As the story progresses hard truths are faced, a new enemy appears, and making the difficult choice could save them both. Romi Hart’s foray into the paranormal continues to not disappoint. Creating a new world that is the right combination of familiar and fantasy is not easy to do, but Hart has succeeded. Her characters face both external and internal challenges that allow for some pretty intense scenes. This is becoming a quick favorite of mine and I can’t wait to see where else she takes this.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
