Dangerously ADDICTIVE!!
An incredibly dark addictive nail biter that is a non-stop bundle of Cruel Beautiful Broken Tomorrows that kept me enthralled filled with excitement fear sadness raw emotions irritation shock and dry humour throughout the nerve rattling twisted suspense and cruel edgy drama laced with dark toying hot chemistry. Well written with an easy flowing unstoppable storyline that held my attention never wanting to put it down.
This was a roller coaster of a ride. It is dark, depraved, and mysterious with so many twists and turns that it will blow your mind. It is taboo to many but shows the writing ability engraved into it. It allows us to see how a person mind is completely trashed at times. Indi and Briar have a love/hate relationship where you can feel the chemistry throughout the story. This is darkly deep and leaves you in awe. You can’t stop reading the story until you read it to the end. It is addictive and raw in all of its elements. It is an amazing story that is a must read.
Brutal Prince by Logan Fox was originally part of the Noble Savages anthology. I read in that and HOLY CRAP, it is something else. It’s dark. It’s depraved. There’s a bit of a mystery. A romance that you don’t want to love, but I promise that you will anyway. That said, it’s probably not going to be your cup of tea if you don’t like dark and “bully romance” but if you do, you should definitely check it out. The only down side is that it’s over!
A great suspenseful story!
Warning! This book is very graphic and may be a trigger for some people as it deals with sexual assault, abuse and murder.
Indi has no choice but to move in with her grandmother in the town of Lavish when her mother is raped, tortured and murdered. She not only lost her mother but their house was burned down as a final hurrah. Why? Nobody knows. As she is not 18 yet, she has to finish high school but regretfully gets on the bad side of one hell of a guy who will stop at nothing to humiliate her so she will leave this awful town.
Full of twists and turns of a good crime book with the messed up hormones of teenagers on the verge of being adults, this book was a page turner from the start.
I voluntarily read this book for an honest review.
I love Bully romance books. It was dark, twisted, emotional, all the feels rolled in one. This book was amazingly written and so good.
Excellent bully romance!!!
Indi has had to move into her grandmother’s house after a brutal tragedy and she has a run in with Prince Briar in the woods by her house. After the unnerving confrontation with Briar she learns he actually goes to the same prep school she will be attending. There is something about Briar that pulls at Indi from the inside and she can’t seem to control the fact that she’s attracted to him. But with what happened ten months ago Briar tries to stay away from women and so he fights his attraction to Indi by bullying her to try to get her to leave his school. This is a dark, twisted, dirty, emotional read that had me hanging on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next.
This story is crazy good but it’s Logan Fox so that’s no surprise. Indi and Briar have this crazy level of chemistry. There is so much push and pull you can’t help but love it.
When you pick up any book by Ms Fox you are guaranteed to read something darker and Brutal Bully is definitely that. It has a lot of content that might upset some folks and Ill be honest some of it shocked even me. Rape and a brutal murder being a few of those. I understand that those parts of the book were to explain Indi’s background and her story with Briar but it was hard reading. If you take that out of it the dark relationship between Indi and Briar even if it was dysfunctional in parts as well as not conventional it certainly keeps you on your toes. I read it in one day so that says it all!! It was a book that both shocks and enthralls you in equal measure
Phew, hectic but not all in a bad way…
Reviewers have covered the story in great detail so I won’t go into that. Have to say this author rocks these dark high school bully stories which was flawlessly written. It was edgy but with subtle undercurrents of caring hitherto not experienced by the hero. Probably because he was high or drunk or both he didn’t identify how manipulative his best friend was but would he be too late to save the girl he’d come to respect & admire & perhaps love?
Logan Fox has written an intense and suspenseful read with Brutal Bully. This book kept me on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Start this suspenseful read today, you will be guessing until the explosive end.
After losing her mother in a brutal Manor, Indi moves to be with her grandmother and have a fresh start, only to be assulted by a stranger in the woods when she starts her new school she’s shocked to find her assailant there, Briar, and he has a history. Briar felt attracted to Indi but after what happened before and being suspect number 1, he tries to get her to leave, but as desires swirl danger lurks too, will the truth be told or buried forever? This is a well written enemies to loves mystery filled with suspense, desires, action, dark themes. Engaging story line and well developed characters.
What a gripping story!! I fell into it from the first page. Indi is such a dynamic character and her relationships with the other characters are interesting and compelling. I really enjoyed this read and anyone looking for a good enemies to lovers story should check this one out!
Brutal Bully is the first book I have read by Logan. The book started out good but then I predicted everything. I like when an author can keep me on my toes till the end. This book was dark, intense, thriller and oh so creepy. There was some jaw dropping moments at the end that I didn’t expect. I just may read book two.
Indi’s loses her father to cancer and then her mother is murdered. She is sent to live with her grandmother and sent to a private school. She meets the school bully, Briar, who plays pranks on Indi.
Briar harbors a secret that he thinks he raped a former girlfriend. This novel flows very well and the material keeps you wanting to continue reading. A surprise and thrilling ending.
