Sometimes weddings can be murder.Pastry chef Tess Crawford thought moving from Chicago to quiet Silver Springs, Arizona would simplify her life. That was before she found the body of a maid-of-honor with whom she had traded heated words the previous night, left her fingerprints on the murder weapon, and came under attack for trying to clear her name. When her cheating ex-fiance shows up, intent … ex-fiance shows up, intent on convincing her to come back to work for him, Tess—armed with an extra batch of éclairs—decides to take control and solve the mystery herself, with the help of a few friends.
But will that be enough to save her when her investigation gets too close and the killer decides it’s safer to get her out of the way?

An enjoyable read.
good book
It was well written. I had not read anything by this author before and I think she has potential. Readers are kept in suspense until the very end as to who the killer is even though there is a list of suspects.
It was a good book to read, entertaining
Maybe it’s my background (English teacher), but I have a really hard time with all the typos and misspellings in these ebooks. Maybe some writers don’t have spell-check. I don’t know. At any rate, cute story, but the errata is missing; if the writer would acknowledge the grammar, spelling, and just plain dumb mistakes, I would feel a lot better about this book.
This is just too good to miss. I enjoyed the dialog between characters, the recipes, and the twists and turns of the plot.
a pleasant surprise! after reading this I bought the other three books. Wished the the series would continue.
Interesting because it was in an area I have always enjoyed visiting.Names written about could imagine.
Easy reading and entertaining.
Not well written and quite derivative
I enjoyed this author and will definitely look for other books she’s written. This story was fun to read, and it kept my interest. The characters were interesting but not over the top. I loved the surprise extras!
I loved that the recipes you read about are included in the book
Easy reading & entertaining.
I enjoyed this book. It was a book you did not want to put down.
It also was a surprised, ending. Very enjoyable.
Enjoyed this fast paced book.
I liked this book so much that I bought the whole series and have almost finished the second one. The characters are well developed and the books are well written.
A very nice whodunit, but the main character was a bit frustrating. She ignored advice from professionals repeatedly and put herself and her friends is danger. She was too obvious in her amateur investigations.
fun, quick read. entertaining
I really liked this book. I am partial to cozy mysteries. Enjoy the recipes!
Easy read. Enjoyed the characters. Want to read the next book.
