Good story and fun to read
I LOVE Cozy Mysteries and this one was so much fun to read. Loved it.
Didn’t see it coming. A great ending.
The story has a somewhat believable storyline with fun characters. It is a little obvious in some spots, but somethings were truly surprising and it made the book fun!
Lots of fun and good “Who done it” . A good fast read, very entertaining.
Written well with humor and wit. A fun read. Have already started Book 2
If you enjoy “cozy” mystery’s, you’ll enjoy this one. Well written, fast moving and entertaining.
fun read,I read it in a day.
Recipes were a fun addition
This book was hard for me to finish. Most good books I can’t put down and keep saying oh just another 20 mins more etc. This book I had to force myself to finish. The plot was ok but the writing made you want to put it down. Won’t be getting anymore of her books even for free like this one!
This is a great read!! I loved the characters, and the recipes were an added bonus. I will be purchasing more books from this author.
Easy, entertaining read. Was able to pick up anytime and continue to read without backtracking.
Great surprises
Good, fast read.
Tess returns home to Silver Springs, Arizona after catching her fiance kissing another employee. Leaving Chicago was haste but reopening her grandmother’s restaurant as a bakery is her plan. However, her plans have a hiccup when she finds a dead body under the table holding the first wedding cake she has been hired to make. To make things worse, she and victim had “words” well mostly the victim toward her, the day prior.
Now she feels it necessary to help investigate and clear her name. To make things worse her ex-fiance, Bronson, shows up trying to get her back. Shaun, the brother of the bride, and Tess hit it off which drives Bronson crazy. Tess finds herself being attacked, her not yet open bakery vandalized, all while trying to get the bakery ready to open and figure out who killed Valerie. Along the way she finds out why Bronson is really there and there is a parentage shocker.
This is a quick, fun, who did it read. This is the first book in a series but can easily stand alone
This was a fun read and have just bought the next book. Really good read!
Love this book. When I bought it I wasn’t sure about it; however, I was pleasantly surprised. The recipes where mouth -watering and it was a good book. Think Columbo as a baker. I can’t wait to read more about Tess.
Great characters, good recipes, too. Cozy mystery.
