Sometimes weddings can be murder.Pastry chef Tess Crawford thought moving from Chicago to quiet Silver Springs, Arizona would simplify her life. That was before she found the body of a maid-of-honor with whom she had traded heated words the previous night, left her fingerprints on the murder weapon, and came under attack for trying to clear her name. When her cheating ex-fiance shows up, intent … ex-fiance shows up, intent on convincing her to come back to work for him, Tess—armed with an extra batch of éclairs—decides to take control and solve the mystery herself, with the help of a few friends.
But will that be enough to save her when her investigation gets too close and the killer decides it’s safer to get her out of the way?

Ok read. Quick & easy. Recipes look good enough to try.
Amusing story and good Recipes.
It was a lot of fun. I couldn’t guess who the culprit was until about 3/4 of the way through the book. Fun recipes I’d like to try. I would enjoy reading more books by this author because she makes the characters seem real and not just fairy tale like imitations of real life.
An enjoyable cozy mystery.
I loved the book, very entertaining and witty. The characters were believeable and the story was spell binding. I highly recommend it.
Brownies and Betrayal is a inuque whodunit story. Loved the plot and the recipes sprinkled throughout the book. An entertaining read.
This book was interesting and held the reader’s attention…who done it?
Excellent read
Just a fun, light-hearted mystery…with recipes as an added bonus.
Great characters
Very typical cozy; nothing special.
Good book with recipes! Nice easy read for cozy mysteries
I enjoyed reading this book and was taken by surprise with the ending.
A good who did it book.
First time I read a book that had recipes in it that was not a cook book
I loved this book. The author writes in the first-person narrative which is refreshing. It provides a unique aspect into the main charracter. I was totally fooled into thinking about who-dun-it!! The characters are fully believable. The internal dialog of the main character is witty and entertaining. I would revommend this book to my friends and look forward to getting the next book in this series….and, checking out the other book series this author has written.
I liked that the book contained recipes to try.
This had potential, but never delivered.
Very entertaining. Loved that recipes were included. I will be trying a couple of them. Surprised by the ending cuz I’m usually good at solving a who dunit.
Every once in awhile, a cosy mystery is a good change. I appreciate cozy mysteries
