Sometimes weddings can be murder.Pastry chef Tess Crawford thought moving from Chicago to quiet Silver Springs, Arizona would simplify her life. That was before she found the body of a maid-of-honor with whom she had traded heated words the previous night, left her fingerprints on the murder weapon, and came under attack for trying to clear her name. When her cheating ex-fiance shows up, intent … ex-fiance shows up, intent on convincing her to come back to work for him, Tess—armed with an extra batch of éclairs—decides to take control and solve the mystery herself, with the help of a few friends.
But will that be enough to save her when her investigation gets too close and the killer decides it’s safer to get her out of the way?

interesting, great recipes, different story line with a few twists. enjoyed
Fun, easy but somewhat predictable read. If you just want to get away from it all and not think too hard, this could be your choice. Recipes included.
CUTE, NOT VERY DEEP
I really didn’t like this book.
Enjoyable read; the story never lagged. Very likeable characters (except the bad one(s), of course). The recipes were a wonderful plus! I definitely recommend.
light easy book to read for relaxing
This was a fast read, interesting characters, good dialogue and plenty of intrigue to make it hard to put down. If you like fast paced mysteries, this is for you. Also, all her recipes are included so if you like to cook desserts, you can get some ideas!
fun read. Tess runs a little willy-nilly and takes chances, but at least reports findings to the police. I really like the recipes.
So good I bought and read all the books in the series. I was sad when I finished the last one! I really like Tess and Lenny!
I like the character and the ending was a surprise.
Entertaining murder mystery. Easy read
Just OK–not very believable
This is a fun series to read. I couldn’t put it down. It was really entertaining and the characters were relatable. I read all 4 pretty quickly, haha. I was sad when I finished.
Fun read. Looking forward to reading the rest in this series.
Good book!
This book was a relaxing and fun read with a few surprises. Not quite edge of your seat type of mystery but believable and likable characters.
Entertaining book, run of the mill bakery type whodunit.
It was a little slow. It was easy to put it aside for something else.
I liked this book , was a funny & enjoyable read. Sometimes you need a mystery with some fun!!
Not need recipes in the book
