This set if books was actually great to read. The brothers all found special woman to marry. Each individual brother is unique and so is his the wife. Loved each book.
Second Chance:
This was a wonderful second chance cowboy romance. I loved the characters and the addition of the flashbacks and the trials of a mental disease and it’s weight. This was a wonderful introduction to the Miller family and I’m excited to read more!
Saving:
Wow. This was an incredible and intense story. The heavy theme of PTSD was dealt with masterfully. This story was hugely impactful and I can’t imagine a single thing to make it better. I can’t wait to see what the next book contains!
Rival:
I really enjoyed this book and it’s emphasis on accepting yourself. I liked the way the bullying was handled. I really liked Benji’s heart and how he went 100% into everything.
Fake Fiancee:
I loved this fake relationship romance. It was really well done. The added dynamic of domestic abuse brought in some suspense that made it even better. I loved getting just a hint of mention of the Millers in Texas (grab the last book of this series and then head over to them!).
Taming:
I just reread this book. I read it right when it released but at that point it was the first book in the series I had read. I decided to reread it because after going through the other brothers, the buildup with the two mains was perfect and I just had to reread it with all of the back story and history. My original review is at the end. The OCD theme, the bad boy theme, the wounds they carry. This was a superb book and I loved seeing all of the previous characters appear in this book too. It was a fitting end to the series.
Original Review:
This is the first book of the series that I have read. I loved it, but I would recommend reading them in order. There were numerous times that I could just feel that there was so much history I was missing that would make things much more meaningful.
I love all the different issues that were addressed. While you always know he endings of these stories, I was impressed at the originality and content of this one. I’d definitely give it more than 5 stars if I could.
Her Second Chance Cowboy is an extremely well written romance between Chastity and Ben. This story delves into the concepts of trust, communication, being true to yourself, loving someone enough to set them free and so many other common issues that we all share. The story is so well written and the characters are so believable that I could not put down the book.
Once I started reading Saving Her Cowboy, I could not put it down. This is a story of two hurt/misfit people who help each other. Bart suffers from PTSD. Missy seems to be able to reach him when he is in a fugue state. Missy has never fit into her town. There is a lot of chemistry here. Ms. Dean handles the PTSD with great sensitivity. There are many plot twists. This is a sweet, clean romance.
Her Rival Cowboy was a most enjoyable book. It is a wonderful story but it also shows the long term damage that can be done by bullying. This story has well developed characters. Benji Miller is helping at the Touhey ranch because the Touhey sons are hospitalized from burns received in an arson fire. Dani Touhey is working despite her burns. Both main characters suffer from low self esteem. It is interesting to see God’s plan for these two evolve.
In Her Fake-Fiance Cowboy Protector, Bradley bursts into a hotel room to save Sophia from any further abuse from her ex-fiance. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and watching Sophia grow into a fierce, independent woman. With great characters and a good story line, anyone who enjoys a clean romance should enjoy this book!
In Taming Her Cowboy Billionaire, we finally read Bryant’s story. The youngest Miller has always felt like an outside in his family. When he returns home for a wedding, he becomes infatuated with Keiko, a woman totally unlike those he runs around with. Keiko has her own issues that she struggles with. This book is a well written tale of learning to deal with inner demons, overcoming your demons, and understanding family, friends and faith. Does Bryant deserve Keiko? Can two hurting people find love? You will have to read this great book to find out. It certainly held my interest.
I loved the Miller brothers. Each of these books is a romance!
I love all of the cowboy stories by Natalie Dean. She brings the characters off the page and make the story seem alive. All have good storyline and a little suspense thrown in for excitement. I am always excited when I get a new Natalie Dean cowboy story. This box set is not just full of handsome cowboys, it is also full of excitement to sweep you away.
