Loyalty. Respect. Wit. Aggression. Heart. Each word describes the Slater brothers and how they were moulded into the men they are today … but what did it take to get them where they are? Pain. Disregard. Fear. Anger. Love. Peeling back each layer to find the brothers’ core means looking at their past to see how they got their future. From overcoming family feuds and breaking a warlord’s hold on … overcoming family feuds and breaking a warlord’s hold on them to moving to another country and finding women who make their world spin.
The Slater brothers idolise their women, and what the Slater brothers idolise, the Slater brothers guard.

A great ending to the series, a reminder of the previous books – loved it.
Was not ready for it to end
I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!! I put reading this book off for months because I was not ready to say goodbye to these characters for now. I finally read it and it was AMAZING!!! I love the Slater brothers and their wives. And then throwing their kids into made it even better. This book was hilarious and also gave you more of a glimpse into the boys past. It truly was a great book.
I can’t wait to see these characters again.
Go read this series if you have not yet
What great ending to the Slater Brothers, We get to hear each brothers POV as they grew up plus when they came to Dublin. Loved it from start to Finish LA. Bring on the Collins brothers fingers crossed the Slaters pop up in there stories.
Normally I love each and everyone of LA Casey’s books. I think this one was hurried. I was disappointed. Repetitive and a lot of missed mistakes.
Well after reading the entire series of the Slater Brothers, of course I am going to love this book. 5 STARS TO THE HEART! I wouldn’t call it an ending anymore, but more of a path that will be looked at in another time whilst some other awaiting characters have their moment in the limelight, who I am sure will be loved just as much as Bronagh, Dominic, Alec, Keela, Kane, Aideen, Ryder, Branna, Damien and Alannah.
This the slowest i have read an LA Casey’s book because i didn’t want it to end, when i got to that last page i was happy with how amazing this book turned out but so upset that this was pretty much the end of the line for these brothers and all these beautiful family’s.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book i knew we would get what was happening in there lives now they were older but i loved how this book was set out. I loved how each boy got there part and how they were handing being husbands and being fathers.
What i didn’t expect was to get more of there backgrounds and what they went through and for some of these boys they went to hell and back and it was such a beautiful but heartbreaking read at the same time.
Even though i was absolutely heart broken about this series ending i loved how this book really brought out the struggles of some families and what teenagers go through and how the fathers and mothers get through it. I just loved this story i can’t say enough about.
The one thing you can always say about these Slaters boys and their family’s they will forever make you laugh, they will make you cry, they give you excitement and drama and you will always laugh out loud and sob like a baby but all of this is why this series and these boys will always be one of my absolute favourite series ever and they will forever be ingrained into my heart.
There is one thing about these books is that i recommend them to anybody who asks me what i should and they are one of the only books that i have re read. LA Casey is a fantastic writer and i can not say enough of how much i love the Slaters. If you have read this series but not this book you won’t be disappointed. If you haven’t started this series ITS A MUST.
There is not enough stars that i can give this series and this book deserves all the stars massive 10 stars from me
Hate saying goodbye
What a series this has been. I’ve luvd every book from this series. It was great getting into the head of this series. It’s something that I had missed in the books. So getting this book was so good. I liked that the story flowed well it went from past to present. Which I really liked but I did find that some of the story have already been told in the other books. It was only with a few of them so it wasn’t to bad. Seeing these men now grown and dealing with all there children is so funny. They were all wild men at some stage in there lives and had dealt with some horrible stuff. But it has made them who they are now. The bond these men have is so good they are so close and will do anything for each other. So now seeing there kids the same is great. The way they are all protective of the only girl Georgie is so cute. I did like this part of the book. Cause she has every guy in this big family under her thumb. She needed to if she stood a chance with this protective lot. I did luv that the Slater men were even more in luv with there women. All couples have had there ups and downs but it made them stronger and more closer. I m so sad this series is nearly over I don’t want to say goodbye. I ‘ve luvd it. I would highly recommend it this book had me laughing crying happy and sad. Just what I want in a book.
What a great look at these brothers, couples, families years from the lat book. written totally from the Slater brothers POV, we get a look back at how they get their HEA with their ladies. I loved the look at the next generation and the challenges these parents are going to face. Reminded me of the old saying “The fruit doesn’t fall very far from the tree” and these kids will be a handful. I cannot wait to see what L.A.Casey does next!!
Gorgeous. The Perfect Good Bye! 4.5 Stars
I absolutely adored every word of every page in this book! It was the perfect good bye to ‘the Slater Brothers’ as this series stands!!
The blend of past childhood trauma, looking back at previous pivotal moments from each of their books and current family moments with their own wives & children , plus with the overall story arc of Georgie pulling it all together – from each Brother’s pov, it was sublime!!! It clarified so much about their pasts for me that had been suggested or hinted at but never fully revealed and there are some REALLY traumatic events. Alec’s abuse was obviously one but much more stark for me was 6 year old Ryder becoming a Parent to Alec and Kane for the first time, it broke my heart!! I remember each of my children at 6, and I know I’ll think of it always, as all of my Grandchildren reach that age – I’ll look at them & think- could you do what Ryder did if you had no choice? Urgh, it’s too painful to contemplate!
L.A Casey has kept my head & heart engaged with each & every story she has produced about this family!! Each has been different but equally lovable and broken in their own ways! I’ve laughed and cried through them all and Brother’s was no different I look forward to The Lad Bible by Dominic via Keela perhaps??
((My one complaint & why I just can’t award 5 Stars – the amount of errors again I feel these books all need proof reading again before release. I don’t understand how her ARC Team doesn’t pick up on them either? It’s such a crying shame that such amazing work is slightly diminished by this correctable issue I wouldn’t ordinarily include this in a review but as it ‘removed me’ from the story time & again to figure it out, I felt it warranted a mention. I’m sorry ))
This is, without a doubt, a 5 Star Read but for that!!!

Is anyone else a blubbering mess because I am! I can’t believe that is the end of this magnificent series! Wow it has been an amazing four years getting to enjoy the life and trials of the Slater brothers so to finish with a book told from the boys perspective and giving the fans an insight into their early life was just beyond belief!
I still maintain Alec is my favourite and to read his troubles left me a broken mess!
Ryder is an absolute super star, that boy pulled off something amazing with these lads.
This book was the perfect ending, you will laugh, you will cry but you with thoroughly enjoy this book!
Thank you L. A. Casey for bringing these boys into my life, truly filled with gratitude!
After having read this whole series it was wonderful to FINALLY be able to get into the brother’s heads. I even found myself going back through the past books to scenes that kept popping into my head. Or to just remember how the other person felt if the scene was similar to a scene in Brother’s. I especially did that with Ryder’s part remembering the first time he figured out who Bee was. Even though each brother had a broken story to tell Alec’s broke my heart the most. Those five lived a hard life and I’m glad that they each got the HEA that they did. Now they can live happily and let their kids give them hell. I smiled throughout this book even though I was sad that it’s the end for the brother’s and their girls. I look forward to seeing more of them in the Collin’s series and then seeing how they give their kids hell when we get to their books. Thank you for letting me enjoy this ride with you!
