Love all of the Faraday books!
Grabbed my attention from the start and wouldn’t let go. Plot and characters are superbly crafted in this series. Well worth the read.
Enjoyed continuation of the Farraday brothers stories.
Love Love Love the Farradays! Great read!
Love this series, the whole family is just wonderful.
I loved Brooks. The doctor of the family. What’s a guy to do when he has a thing for a married women. He won’t act on it, but will protect her at any cost when he finds out her soon to be ex is abusive.
Toni is scared. Brooks has assured her that he will be by her side along with the entire Farraday clan. When it matters to him it matters to them.
When a tragic accident happens she feels relieved. Is it ok to feel this way?
Read and find out.
Meet the Farraday family of Farraday County. Book One introduces us to Adam, the eldest of seven siblings, and Meg O’Brien. Book Two is the story of Brookes, the second eldest of the Farraday clan is intrigued by Meg’s married friend from Boston. This novel discusses verbal and physical abuse. ‘Brookes’ is a quick, interesting romance.
So thrilled with this series! If you love small town romances with a cast of fabulous characters, this is for you!
Gave this one 4 stars instead of 5 because of the “convenient” ending with Toni’s husband. It was still a good read and I enjoyed it but I just found that part of the story hard to believe.
I am in love with the Farraday family and I can not choose my favorite! The warmth and strength of this family and the community is awesome. Brooks is the doctor in the family and is so busy with his practice that he barely has time to look at a woman. Toni has a secret that has her so tied up that a man is the last thing she is thinking of. No one is trying to play matchmaker with this pair, but there is something….
While the romance is the focus of the book, the reality and insidiousness of mental abuse is a pivotal point. Once again the chemistry is fantastic but things flow differently in this one since as far as everyone knows, she is married.
I love the mystic dog that shows up again when Toni and Brooks meet and makes a surprising twist believable.
What a great continuation from Book 1, Adam! Brooks is one of the many hot, sexy Farraday brothers. Brooks is on his way to the ranch when he almost hits a woman sitting in the road petting a stray dog. When he offers her a ride to where she is staying, he finds out she is his future sister-in-law’s best friend. The draw between them in strong until Brooks finds out she is married.
Toni is taking advantage of her husband being out of town to attend the wedding of her best friend in West Texas. While she is there, she finally admits how much her husband has isolated & terrorized her. She doesn’t need to get into another serious relationship before she’s completely out of the first.
I loved this! Ms. Keniston managed to hook me with the opening scene with the same stray dog that was in Adam & pulled me completely into the story. Her romances aren’t a typical easy HEA. The characters have to go through some hoops. The plot has enough twists & surprises to keep you totally interested until the end. You can easily read this as a stand alone but I really enjoyed reading Adam first & then continuing on. The poker ladies are a hoot! I loved the scene with them drunk off cake balls! I sat and laughed out loud at the description. Great symbolism & a wonderful premise. Can’t wait for Connor!!
