A sexy new standalone from USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen. You’d think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You’d be wrong. For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don’t know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is … night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.
When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It’s what friends do. But what friends don’t do is rip off each others’ clothes for a single, wild night together.
Now she’s avoiding me. She says we’re too different, and it can never happen again. So why can’t we keep our hands off each other?
I loved this fresh new twist on the billionaire storyline and the absolutely dreamy hero. Nate is everything I could ever want in a book boyfriend – he’s smart, confident, and completely smitten! Brooklynaire is sexy and addictive! #1 NYT Bestseller Lauren Blakely

There’s this moment when an author announces that she’s finally writing a book for the couple you’ve been waiting for. As the release date looms, the anticipation is kicked up to an all-time high. For me, that’s when the nerves set in. What if I’m asking too much? What if the scenarios I’ve dreamed up in my head are not nearly as good as what the story actually is? What if I’m left feeling unfulfilled? As Nate’s gorgeous face on the cover of Brooklynaire stared back at me, these were the thoughts I had. I desperately wanted to block out the world and lose myself in Nate and Becca’s love story, but a part of me hesitated. Nervous that I was going to lose the magic of anticipation.
Don’t make the same mistake I did. Don’t hesitate. Jump in with both feet and don’t look back.
“…help me understand— are you pissed off about the kiss? Or are you pissed that I stopped?”
We often see book reviewers and authors talk of “epic” love stories. Well, none of those stories you’ve read in the past could possibly compare to the story of Nate and Becca. Never before have a read a book so slowly and with such reverence. We are spoiled by a love story told like no other. As we see the progression of a romance that occurred behind the scenes throughout the first three books in the Brooklyn Bruisers series, we are also treated to uniquely written flashbacks. Flashbacks are usually a deterrent for me, but these enhance the beauty of the story in a way that they never have before.
“So that’s it? One perfect night, and a three-minute conversation. That’s all I’ll ever have.”
Nate is just as quirky and endearing as I hoped he would be. I can’t tell if his wit is unintentional, or if his humor is just overshadowed by his brilliance. But what I loved most about Nate was his heart. Too often, the heroine is the one left with uncertainty and longing. To watch Nate pine for what he’s wanted for years and have it so close, broke me in a way I wasn’t sure was mendable. I just wanted to hug him all the time. Becca was a much deeper character than I anticipated her being. While she may not have been as confident in the ability to begin a relationship with Nate as Nate was, she was the special spark in the lives of others, and doesn’t even realize it.
“I’m the quirky fun girl at the office who knows what time the cars are coming and can always find you a dinner reservation. I’m never the one the reservation is for.”
Every once in awhile, something special comes along. Nate and Becca’s story is just that. It is truly something special. Bowen has outdone herself with this book. It’s a story I waited a long time for, and one that was every bit worth the wait.
Sarina Bowen is a relatively newer to me author and I am so glad I found her books. Brooklynaire was charming, romantic and so damn sweet with very light angst. It had amazing characters and a story I devoured. I laughed and swooned so much!
You want a woman that can get stuff done and is always in control? Well Rebecca, Becca, Rowley is that woman. For seven years she has worked in Nate Kattenberger’s world and has kept things running for him. But when Becca is hurt and out of commission, Nate steps in to help. Like any friend would do, right?
Nate was once the young man working to build a dream. Seven years ago, he hired Becca to manage his office when nobody knew who he was. Now he is a billionaire running a very successful company and the proud owner of a hockey team with everything he ever dreamed off at the tip of his fingers. That is everything but the woman who has captivated his mind and heart for more years than he can admit.
I absolutely loved Nate and Kate. They were great characters. Both were strong, determined and perfectionist workaholics. When Becca went to work for Nate, she pushed away any attraction since he was not available. But during that time things changed, and Nate begin to have feelings for Becca. But both being professionals they avoided anything personal between them.
But when Becca is hurt, Nate steps in because he is worried for his friend, nothing else. Right? Next thing you know she is staying with him and seeing the best specialists Nate can find. When one-night changes everything between them. Becca avoids Nate. They are too different and nothing good can come from it, right?
I loved this story so much. I loved the characters and was drawn into their story from start to finish. Brooklynaire was a sweet and charming friends-to-lovers romance that had me laughing and swooning. Nate wore his feelings on his sleeves and was both determined and awkward. I love that about him. Becca had doubts and worries, but after what happened between them, she could not stop thinking about Nate as more than her boss and friend. This was a great read I highly recommend.

Everything about Brooklynaire was amazing. I started the book later in the evening and let’s just stay, I ended in the wee hours of the morning. Hours had past and I hadn’t even realized it, Nate and Rebecca’s story sucked in my and I couldn’t put it down!a
We’ve been given snippets of Rebecca and Nate throughout the Brooklyn Bruisers series. The chemistry has been there, at least on Rebecca’s part, but I’ve always been curious what is going on with Nate. When Nate bough the Brooklyn Bruisers he transferred Rebecca to that office instead of his main office and she always questioned why. What she didn’t know was her hunky boss was just as hopelessly in love with her as she is with him.
The journey these two went on to be together had to be one of my absolute favorites. I loved everything about their story, their chemistry, their passion and the love they are both keeping hidden. You can’t help but LOVE them and their story. You can’t help but feel for them both as they struggle to get what they both want in the end, which is each other. Nate and Rebecca capture your heart and you seriously can’t help but fall in love with them and their amazingly perfect story.
I was so glad that this was not another billionaire and office assistant romance. It was so much more. I absolutely loved Nate and Rebecca!
Nate has worked hard to get where he is. The man is a genius and it was fate that brought Rebecca into his life. She had to leave college and return home to work after the death of her father and Nate desperately needed an office manager to keep the everyone on task. For seven years they worked together and the attraction for Rebecca was always there, but it had grown so much that he needed to have less exposure to her or otherwise his attraction for her would be known. When the opportunity came up, he transferred Rebecca to run the office of the hockey team he owns across town. He never told her why and it always nagged at Rebecca why he transferred her.
Rebecca always takes care of everyone else. She works hard, and she is such a sweetheart with a lot of sass. She kept those hockey players in line and they adored her. Rebecca fell in love with Nate from the start. He was nerdy, sweet, protective, loyal, distracted and taken. So, he was safe. Over the years she had kept her attraction for him to herself. She helped him through a terrible breakup with his finance. She never felt like she would be good enough for him. She didn’t finish college and she worried that he would get bored with her and feel that she wasn’t his equal. Even though they worked so well together, and she kept things on task. An unfortunate accident happens to Rebecca, and Nate takes the opportunity to reach out and help Rebecca and hopefully spend some one on one time together to explore their relationship. Maybe take it from friends to lovers. Nate wanted and was ready for more.
This story tugged at my heart! The author did such a good job of developing the characters and emotions that it brought out in me. I felt what they were feeling. I also loved the voice-controlled speaker, Bingly. He was hilarious, especially when he had the British accent like Mr. Darcy! This was one of those books that you can’t put down because you are so into it and emotionally involved.
If you want a great friends to lovers romance, give this wonderful book a try!
This is a book I have wanted from the moment I met the characters in Rookie Move. It’s an equal parts sweet friends to lovers and angsty taboo/forbidden boss and employee romance. I devoured this book and could not get enough. Nate and Becca’s story was everything I hoped for and more than I could have dreamed. Though characters from the author’s Brooklyn Bruisers series appear, and that is where we initially meet our hero and heroine, Brooklynaire can be read as a standalone.
I loved the glimpses into the past and seeing the start of the friendship between Nate and Becca. Their histories and meet cute gave their relationship more depth and the stable foundation for everything to come. I already loved both characters, but finally getting into their minds and seeing things from their points of view was amazing. Nate and Becca aren’t perfect, but that made them and their story more realistic and relatable. Sure, he’s a billionaire and a genius, but at the end of the day, he’s still just a man in love. The build up between them was delicious and their chemistry was off the charts. When the stars FINALLY aligned for them, my kindle nearly burst into flames. Seriously, if there had been someone to high five, I would have. The road to happily ever after isn’t a smooth one for Nate and Becca though, and there is some drama and a road block or two thrown in for good measure. In the end, however, it is all worth it and the wait to get to this moment will feel insignificant.
Brooklynaire has all the laughs, swoons, and heart that fans of Sarina Bowen know and love. The main events of the story run concurrently with the book Pipe Dreams, with snippets in the past and one of the most smile inducing epilogues ever. My heart is full and I am so overjoyed that Nate and Becca finally got their story.
I have been waiting — I mean, dying a little bit, if I’m being honest — for Nate and Becca’s story. If you’ve been along for the ride since the beginning of this series, you know there’s always been something there and that Nate is…intriguing. So, Brooklynaire was one of my most anticipated releases of 2018 and – EEEEEPPPP!!! You guys, it did NOT disappoint!
Nate and Becca drove me absolutely crazy! Their chemistry was incredible – tangible, sensual, visceral – but their burn was slow, marked by occasional explosions, but taking a while to really get off the ground. And it was sort of delicious torture. These two are amazing – individually and together. I adored them. I loved their playful banter, their easy friendship, and the sparks that continually flew between them, even when they had no idea what to do about it.
This book sucked me in immediately and I read it greedily – I felt like I would never get enough Becca and Nate. I have a special place in my heart for nerdy heroes, and it’s safe to say that it has now attached itself permanently to Nate and all his geeky, bumbling quirks. And Becca’s spirit is impossible to resist. These two are opposites on paper but their chemistry was absolutely perfect and a delight to read.
I literally could not get enough. My heart was so happy and satisfied with the ending, but I still want more. I feel like I might be a little bit addicted to this couple, but it’s probably more true that I’m addicted to this series (because honestly, the secondary character love is strong – and I was so happy to re-visit some of my old favorites), and most accurately: this author. The magic is in the writing, the storytelling, and the brilliant way these characters have been brought to life. I’m in this for the long-haul, I cannot wait for more! And in case all this shameless gushing wasn’t clear enough for you? This book is a MUST READ.

Finally the story of Nate and becca, two characters that I was anxious to make your own history. And I can say that Sarina, Bowen has done an excellent job with this story.
Rebeca works years for Nate, long before he became this billionaire known and respected by all. And over the course of the professional relationship, they developed a friendship and an attraction for each other, but none of them had the courage to act on it, until an accident with Becca makes those two approaching and assessing whether it is not worth risking and see where this attraction could bring these two.
I confess that I loved their relationship of them the first time: confidence, friendship and attraction that these characters have for each other was palpable to each page. And if there’s one thing that I love to see is the young man running after the protagonist, and here not only have that one good guy willing to reveal that always liked the young lady and see where it could lead the two,as we also see a Nate sweet, romantic, patient and protector. Impossible not to fall in love with him.
Sarina Bowen delivers here a sweet, romantic story without a lot of stalling. A story that was delightful to read and hope finally Nate and Becca give the arm twisting and give each other a chance.
Brooklynaire by Sarina Bowen is another standalone in the Brooklyn Bruiser Series.
7 years ago Nate became Becca´s boss. Rebecca – Becca – Rowley lives and works in Brooklyn. She´s the manager of the Brooklyn Bruisers, apro NHL team, about to enter the playoffs. Team owner and Becca´s boss Nate Kattenberger is a start up billionaire, genius and a bit nerdy in a charming way.
And for 7 years she had a crush on him, but never acted on it. But now it´s a case of right time right place and Nate develops feelings for Becca.
Favorite Quote: ” Some days you´re meant to read from the loser´s script and theres nothing to be done about it. ”
I started reading and fell immediatedly in love with the characters. Both are grown ups and they act accordingly. They´re honest with each other, there isn´t great drama and that I enjoyed too.
Brooklynaire is a gem in the book world. This 5 star read blew me away . Brooklynaire is a beautiful rom com and I felt like being a part of the story. I highly recommend this wonderful book and wish I could give more than 5 stars !
Brooklynaire was for a long time a book I hope to have. It was the story all the Brooklyn Bruisers fans needed and wanted.
Nate & Becca were two characters very much present in the previous books of the series. We all knew something was there, something might happen or might have happened but we needed details. I needed details. So when Sarina announced the release of Brooklynaire I was beyond excited and happy!
Reading their story was pure delight! Finally being in both of their minds was exactly what I hoped for. Learning and getting to know how deep their relation was, how their friendship started and then where the attraction is coming from was like a fairytale.
Even if you could technically read this as a standalone, I wouldn’t recommend because I’ve fallen for these characters right away in Rookie Move and the experience will be more intense that way. You’ll have questions, you’ll have doubt but once you get to Brooklynaire, everything will be better.
Nate is an endearing tech nerd falling for one of his closest friend. Shy, protective, caring and a little clumsy, seeing him go for the girl he wants while respecting her boundaries make me swoon more than once.
Becca is a witty young woman who has never given love a real chance. Taking care of others is what she has always been doing. Letting her guards down and letting herself feel is not easy and I’ve discovered a part of her personality I didn’t expected which I enjoyed a lot.
I can’t point out enough how every aspect of the book worked perfectly for me. I didn’t imagine how things would unfold, I just let Sarina do her magic and tell me how she imagines their love story.
Brooklynaire is a sweet, captivating and funny love story between two souls meant to be together.

Nate and Rebecca are the story I have been waiting for while reading all the others. Not to say that I didn’t enjoy the other stories in the series, but there was so much in them leading up to this that I have been looking forward to it. A lot.
And, it didn’t disappoint. Nate is the billionaire owner of the Brooklyn Bruisers and a bit of a tech geek. Actually, a bit is an understatement. He is the last guy you would expect to own a pro team of any type, much less the rough sport of hockey.
Rebecca has worked for Nate for years, from the beginning when they were a small office, and as they have grown, she has been right there. Until Nate transfers her from the main office to the hockey team’s office. And, she feels she has done something wrong. Little does she know, it is that Nate can’t stop thinking about her, and has decided it is not professional to be in love with one of his employees.
And, that is the fun of this book. Watching Nate, his PowerPoint presentations and his mild social awkwardness deal with falling in love with Rebecca, and having a chance at having something more with her, is hilarious and enjoyable. You feel for both of the characters as they try to navigate being the team owner and employee while falling in love…although as the reaction of those around them seems to be a lack of surprise and wondering why it took them so long.
The epilogue is also satisfying and ties up some loose ends that have run through the other books and I was left very pleased at the end of this title.
I recommend this title.
Holy Crap. There is nothing I can say that could best describe this book other than the word “phenomenal”. This book was so damn amazing. I lost count at the number of times I laughed and swooned. Sarina Bowen brought her “A” game with this one folks because I could not put Brooklynaire down. Nate and Becca were the couple we were all waiting for as their story was the explosive finale that we ALL needed. They were sexy, dorky and just all around fantastic. I never wanted their story to end.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock or are unfamiliar with this series, Brooklynaire is the fourth book in the Brooklyn Bruisers series but is a complete standalone. Personally coming off a binge read of the entire series, this is a series you will want to read in its entirety as we get the full picture of Nate and Becca in all its glory. This book was the perfect culmination of the series as all the furtive looks of longing and hidden lusty stares finally came to a head. Without giving away any spoilers, our favorite couple finally had their day in the sun and boy was it an amazing journey to watch. I swooned and laughed and rejoiced as I never wanted to get off this perfect ride.
While Nate and Becca may seem like they are very different on paper, Sarina Bowen with her magic touch once again clearly showcased her writing genius to show us how perfect this couple was for one another. They both were so endearingly honest and awkward and so damn sexy. They were loving and true and so human with their natural doubts and insecurities. I loved them so much and am already in mourning that this series is over. All of the players and their strong and sassy women feel like family and it’s so hard to say goodbye. But if this series has to end, there is no better way for it to go out with a bang than with this book. This was pure genius and solid gold. Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula
New hot stand-alone from Sarina Bowen and this book is everything you would expect from this go to author of mine,a professional hockey team, a billionaire hot owner and a friends to lovers romance this book has it all.
Nate Kattenberger billionaire businessman and owner of the Brooklyn Bruisers ice hockey team, he is hot, handsome and he has loved Becca for what seems like forever and that’s why he moved her from being his PA to working over at the hockey team, he needed to remove the temptation. Becca feels the same way but neither of them will give into their feelings until Becca has an accident on the ice and ends up with a head injury that needs around the clock care……..
I loved this book so much, if you love sports romance, billionaires or friends to lovers you certainly will want to one click this brilliant read. The only thing I’m sad about is this is a stand-alone and I wanted more I really wish I had a second book to look forward too because once again Sarina Bowen has given me another couple I have fallen fallen in love with and a book that I will read and read again. Yet another 5 Star read from a very talented author.
