After Gage’s death, Parker doesn’t know how she will go on.It certainly doesn’t help that her now broken bond is forcing her to relive that horrific moment over and over again.Every time she falls asleep she’s haunted. She’s stuck in a never-ending loop that feels completely real, so real that at times Parker doesn’t know reality from her dreams. That is until her dream changes, and someone new … dream changes, and someone new pops up in Gage’s place.
He was so much like Gage, but different all the same.
Once Parker returns to reality, she allows her curiosity to guide her on a path that takes her to a familiar hotel where the Hunters stayed.
There she finds the guy from her dream, Blue.
He’s everything she imagined him to be but with one major catch. Blue is a Hunter.
Parker’s world quickly spins out of control to the point where she has a hard time telling the difference between what’s actually happened and what hasn’t.
Everything becomes clear the moment her past dream about Blue becomes a reality.
Only she can save him from the gun pointed at his head.
Making a split second decision, she attacks the shooter. Her attack stops Blue from being killed instantly, but it doesn’t prevent fate.
Parker has another decision to make. She has to decide whether or not to change Blue into a wolf in order to save his life or to just let him go.
She changes him.
But that comes with its own consequences.
Blue hates her and what he’s become.
After everything that she’s been through will Parker be able to win over Blue’s heart? Will she be able to turn his hatred into love?
Better yet, will Blue be able to break the cycle that Parker has had to relive?
Only time can decide.
But time is also against them.

I loved this story. It is the kind that you can identify with the characters and immerse yourself in the story. Very well written and characters to win the heart make this book a must read.

The ending of book 1 was devastating. I was emotionally involved in the storyline and I couldn’t believe the author took the reader there. Fortunately for us, there is an interesting twist that the author reveals in this book that made it go from a good story to a great story. I still struggle with the main character’s propensity to get involved with more than one male within each book as I don’t believe that to be realistic. It doesn’t gel with the character traits the author used to create her character. Regardless, this book was entertaining and action packed.
Gage is dead. There was no way to save him after being shot in the head. The bond being broken is causing so much grief, Parker can take the pain. She’s having dreams where she sees Gage being shot and killed over and over driving her mad. Then one night the dream changes, and instead of it being Gage, it’s a man who looks like him but is named Blue. Still, in the dream, this man dies as well.
I have to admit, as emotionally invested in book 1, Bound, as I had become, I was devastated that Gage had been killed. Now, the plot takes a twist and a whole new set of emotions are set loose as Anya Summers took me through yet another journey with her characters that left me spellbound and wanting more. There’s a cliffhanger waiting, but isn’t that what makes a good series and keeps you coming back? This one is no exception.
Parker was a mess. She lost her mate and now she was dreaming of another who looked like him. Blue was a hunter and he was Gages brother. Hate turned to love, when Parker had to make a decision that would change Blue’s life. After meeting with Emmett and Ford, Blue finally comes back and she has made her decision. On her wedding day, she is kidnapped and brought to the one place she never wanted to see again, The Island.

This book is a great read with off the charts chemistry, intriigue and mystery, dire circumstances and challenges kept me entranced till the end of the story.
honestly enjoyed the book. There are some twists not normally seen in shifter books. I do think that Parker is not a true alpha as she depends too much on others for her strength. The characters are well written and you get involved with them, but.. Parker cries too much for my tastes. This is a good book.

The book is a good paranormal romance read. The book a good second story in the series. The characters are good. The story has some twists that you would not normally be seen in a shifter read.

Broken by Raven K. Asher This is another awesome book by one of my favorite authors. It is about shifters and I love reading about them a lot. This story is an emotional roller coaster that will have you crying screaming and happy all the way threw the story. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves shifter stories.

Poor Parker. She’s lost her true mate and needs to find a new mate or else….She finds someone. The human hunter Blue. Gage’s half brother. To save Blue’s life, Parker changes him and gifts him with Gage’s wolf. Fighting his feelings, Blue sends Parker off to give other new alphas a chance to mate her. That doesn’t work out because the girl really loves Blue. They finally declare their love and plan a human wedding. But oh no. Bad luck strikes again before the wedding and Parker is kidnapped by a jilted suitor. Poor thing, can her family, friends and her newly bonded mate rescue her before her bond is broken? To be continued…..in the next exciting installment!
