Micah… the hands of my husband, I’d had enough. The only way to live was to run. Disappear. Life had other plans for me. Plans that included a sexy biker. I wasn’t looking for love, and I certainly didn’t think I could trust again. That is, until him.
Life had been cruel too many times to count, but the worst was yet to come. Will love be enough to keep them from shattering?
Broken Souls is a complete story with a guaranteed HEA. This book contains subject matter that some may find disturbing. Reader discretion is advised.

This is the 1st in a series and an amazing debut from this author. This is Micah who is the President of his MC, and Sadie who is on the run story. This MC is built up from vets who as broken souls and they specialise in helping victims of abuse who are as broken as they are. This is a well written story which is raw, gritty, violent, and emotional roller coaster which is certainly not a tale for the feint-at-heart. I cannot wait to read more in this addictive series, and highly recommend for all MC lovers.
Micah Mallory, President of the Broken Rebel Brotherhood motorcycle club, at thirty-four was a veteran Navy Seal, just like many of the club members, and they all had a burning desire to help those that couldn’t help themselves.
The whole concept of this club and its story intrigued me from the beginning. It’s a refreshing change from the normal MC books yet that doesn’t mean there isn’t lots of drama and action- because it is jammed packed with it.
Sadie McCord is a great character, one that relearns who she is after a miserable life. She finds she has a sassy mouth and inner strength that certainly boosts her confidence. Micah is an absolute darling of a man…I can not say enough about him to paint the fantastic qualities he possesses. Together as a couple they are terrific and their romance might not be everyday nor rainbows and kittens but it is real and deep.
You definitely experience a full range of emotions in this story and need to be prepared for bursts of anger to explode as well as nail biting fear that has you sitting on the edge of your seat. Great descriptions of both the characters and scenes as well as a fast paced storyline make this an entertaining and exciting book.
Broken Souls by Andi Rhodes was a quick read, MC style book for me with two amazing characters. The story can sometimes be graphic in detail, especially of the abuse that Sadie suffers at the hands of her husband. The book focuses on Sadie leaving her husband and being found by Micah, the President of the local small town MC: Broken Rebel Brotherhood, but this MC is different in the fact that it is made up of ex-military men and women who are there to protect those who are unable to protect themselves.
Micah was a really good character in that he didn’t shy away from his PTSD and how that affected how he lived his life. The connection he has with Sadie was instantaneous and when you find out their past history, your heart will melt a little bit.
Sadie is one of those characters that are exceptionally well written and you want to know more about. She is a character that doesn’t know her own strength but it certainly comes through on the page. The life she has suffered and how she sees herself are heartbreaking at points and it was sometimes difficult to read how the system can let people down.
This was a quick read for me and although it didn’t go into a lot of detail or action regarding how Sadie’s husband was caught and punished, it did tie up nicely with a special epilogue at the end.
This is definitely a sweet MC book and I will certainly be interested to read the second book in this series when it comes out. If you like swoon worthy heroes and strong females, then Andi Rhodes books are for you!
ARC received for a fair and honest review.

Andi Rhodes is a new author for me. I am always on the look out for more MC romances and this one sounded promising. They aren’t a traditional MC, just a group of former military who turned themselves into a family. They ride Harley’s and help victims of domestic violence in order to keep protecting people, like they have for their entire adult life. Micah on paper is the President but they don’t treat him as all powerful, nor does he act like it. This is a family and while he is the head, he is not a king. Sadie has had a rough adult life and she finally found a way to escape it. Too bad her injuries cause her to crash her car in an empty field. Micah finds her and knows she needs their help. There is something about her that he just can’t shake and he wants to do whatever he can to help her. Their mutual attraction and Micah’s knowledge of PTSD and triggering behavior from his work really stand out for me. They don’t move quickly into a physical relationship, they become friends. There were a few other surprises but I’m not going to spoil it. I am very pleased to have discovered a new author who gives her characters depth and behaviors that ring true to their personalities. I can’t wait to read more from Andi Rhodes!
Broken Souls is a compelling story that will have you in an emotional twist. Sadie is a product of the foster system and all she knew was pain and death. When she met Ian he used that against her to feed his abusively domineering side. After his last beating, Sadie ran off and was found by Micah and her journey towards love and healing began. As she and Micah bonded, another member of his crew was seeing someone that wasn’t who they thought he was. This will set up a chain reaction of events that will shake up their entire family. Will they survive the fallout that’s coming their way?

I can’t express enough the emotions I went through with this story! Bravo Andi Rhodes! Debra @ Janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
I love what this MC does and stands for. It is a great thing to read about in an MC book.
Sadie and Micah come together after a horrible event for her. Micah is determined to help and protect her but with a past event haunting him can he trust his gut when the time comes to follow through?
This story is not an easy one to read but it is a real one. The events in its pages happen to people every day and you ache for that while reading it. My heart was torn for all of them while reading but to see their strength and fight was also soul restoring!
It is story that has some unexpected things happen in it so be prepared to yell at our author for writing them! All the while understanding why they were written into it. Andi Rhodes is amazing that she could put her characters through what she does with the hope that her readers will understand and want to keep reading on. I love an author who takes chances like that with their work and on their readers. I am all in with this series!
My heart was shattered Mandy @janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
We are all broken in some form or another, but we find our characters in Broken souls more broken than most. While trying to survive and make their lives and those around them a little bit better. The Broken Rebel Brotherhood isn’t your typical MC, they are a band of brothers whose mission is to help those that are battered, beaten,&Broken. Micha the President of BRB is in for one of the biggest fights to grace his doorstep so to speak. But can Micha protect the most beautiful girl he has ever seen or will he fail them both?
Sadie Harper has never been wanted in her eyes, but her life hangs in the balance of one man who was supposed to treasure her. Running For her life can sadie get the strength she finally needs to stand up to the beast or will the beast get the last of her.
Andi Rhodes is a new to me author and since the first page iwas drawn in, my heart breaking and rooting for sadie and micha in Broken Souls. I am anxiously waiting for book 2 in this series
Whoa, what did I just read? This is the first book, as far as I can tell, from Andi Rhodes and it will tear you up. I have read some frank books but for a romance this book is really down to the nitty gritty with the violence it portrays. I loved the idea of the Brotherhood and their values. It is a slow burn romance but really it has to be. Sadie is given time to heal and Micah is so patient and kind. Kudos to Ms. Rhodes, a great story. Looking forward to Brie’s story with Griffin.

I Loved this book. Fantastic start to a series and this reader can’t wait to see where the series takes us. The author has given us a well written, exciting storyline with characters you just want to hug. Kudos to Ms. Rhodes for an amazing job well done. The Broken Souls MC is made up of former vets who have served their country with pride and honor. They are home now, many suffering from PTSD and other issues. They have banded together to use their skills to help protect the abused as well as help themselves fit back into civilian life.
Micha is the Prez of this banded group of men and women. While traveling from the main house to his cabin on the property he spots a wrecked vehicle. Trapped inside is a women who unbeknownst to all, needs the Broken Souls help. While unconscious and fighting for her life, Micha finds himself drawn to her. When she finally wakes, he learns her name is Sadie and he can tell she’s running from a bad situation. Will she accept the clubs friendship and help or will the years of abuse at her husband’s hand cause her to fear the group and run once more.
This is such a phenomenal storyline that will touch your heart while keeping you glued to the pages. Don’t get me wrong, the men and women that make up the Broken Souls MC are not all sugar and spice. They all have their past issues and none are saints as you will see. But one thing they are is a group that will use everything in their arsonal to help those they can. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for a book I Highly Recommend reading. You won’t regret you did.
Sadie is running from an extremely bad situation, but she runs for so long she ends up literally crashing into Spiceland, Indiana. Micah is the President of the Broken Rebel Brotherhood, an MC that specialises in helping those wanting to escape abusive relationships. When he comes across Sadie, his instincts to help take over and he and his club help her recover and move on with her life. Sadie and Micah are drawn to each other too, but is it genuine feelings or do they have a damsel/white knight situation going on? Will it be as easy for Sadie to just move on as they hope it will?
This was Andi Rhodes’ debut and I see a lot of potential in her; for a first ever book this was freakin fantastic. I would have liked a little more to the bedroom scenes and maybe a bit more to the confrontation with the baddie, but overall this was a really well done first book. I’m looking forward to seeing what this author will do when she has a little more practice and I can’t wait for book 2 as I’m eager to know what’s going to happen next with these guys. I give Broken Souls 4 stars.
